My father is PSU employee… when I was child he was posted at Plant . He use to go at 7:30 A.M (come for lunch for 1/2 hr) and return home at 9 PM Aur ye roj ka tha . Even on Sundays also he use to go for work . When he use to return from office he smells like oil and metal , shirt was dirty etc. still no promotion on time , not much salary hike no special treatment at all! (Although he earned a lot of respect from department and company). Now we are at head office and still he works for damn 12 hrs straight for 6 days a week (inspite of sat is holiday). He had only 2 year of retirement left still selflessly he works dedicatedly. And honestly I can say for these type of employees only PSUs are still surviving or any other govt department is still surviving! 💯🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

My father is a retired Headmaster of a State Govt High School.. He had taken only 4 medicals in his 34 years of service and he has more than 1 thousands OD ( on duty) . That means he worked on holidays as well. He went to school 1hr prior to start and left school 1hr after . He made the school famous and tried his best to develop the school.

My geography teacher. Whole year he and his teacher friends from the same school teaches more than 1500 students for just ruppes 50 per month for all subjects, who can't afford their studies. 2 of the students are now doctors of AIIMS and 3 are working in TCS. I respect them a lot. ❤️🙏🏻

My father has served for state government since last 30 years . Everybody says govt employees are the most kaamchor but it's the most demeaning word . I have seen my father working in holidays when others are enjoying festivals. When I used to ask him why doesn't he take some leave , he replies that he loves his work more than anything.I get bothered that time with those attitudes but now I understand he is a true inspiration to me and many . ❤️

My mother working in a bank( Bank of Maharashtra) for 38 years as a cleark now she has become an officer, because her determination and my father who motivated her at this age... unfortunately papa passed away due to Covid last year... Now she will retire in November, with 6 months Sick leaves still remaining which will Lapse anyways without any cash refund for those leaves. And they say Bank of Maharashtra employees don't work.. I feel really bad about it thinking of my mother's Hardwork and Sacrifice.

@@ahfaz6968 if he had given a acknowledgement slip of the said money and still didn't credited that money in your account you can complain to bank manager if they are not helping then file complain at banking ombudsman.
If they had collected cash from you without giving acknowledgement slip it will consider as theft, you can directly lodge a complain at your nearest police station with proper evidence.
My father is a central government employee. He always works hard for his office. I never saw my father takes unreasonable leaves from work. Neither he gets so much holidays. I can even count how many days he was in home for this whole year. He is a group 'B' officer and one of the head of his department. If he wants he can make others to do his works, but he doesn't. I really appreciate it.

@raiitm Schools are run by government employees, not private sector employees. All state governments have allocated funds for government schools, but lazy government employees cannot spend that money for the improvement of government schools, in fact some employees do corruption of allocated funds. Most of the employees don't know how they got the job, by exchange of money, political or bureaucracy influence, what they are doing in the name of job.
Teachers job is to educate children and tell them what is right and what is wrong. Government teachers' own children study in private schools.
What do they care whether the children become good or goons, they are going to get salary without doing anything
@raiitmArmy and KV schools are good because central government employees are transferred frequently all over India and the curriculum of all army and KV schools is same all over the country, that's why KV and army schools are best.
If central government employees were not transferred all over the country then there would be no teaching in KV and army schools
My father was in Mumbai police (Crime branch) i has seen his hard work everyday when i was a kid. he was a cop so forget about festival holidays he never had one in his entire life (we used to miss him on those days :') )and i had many stories of him working loyally towards his country❤ heard from my mother and his colleagues too.. and i love every employee who works for his country like he used you to do❤🇮🇳❤

Paying extra to workers for extra cleaning and maintenance... Placing curtains and making it bright than be sad.... Just for the betterment of patient because she says this is true patriotism to serve your fellow countrymen ... I admire her dedication towards her service. 😊
Your mum is an exception, there will be very few like her in government hospitals. One of my relative is a nurse as well, extremely kaamchor, doesn't do anything except sitting, still get 85k/month salary in tier 3 city of Uttar Pradesh.

@@praveensharma9889 Don't exaggerate, I know many who work in medical field, they get all festival leaves, plus they give doctor little money take unreported leaves very easily. ANM in U.P don't even go everyday, max 3-4 days they go in a week, even when they go they return within 3-4 hours. GNM have just 6 hour shifts in the day shifts.
Samvida wali nurse phir bhi apni salary justify karti hai, lekin purani govt nurse 80-85 hazar salary bilkul deserve nahi karti, just wastage of money.

Mera voter id 5 mahine se phasa hua tha. Mere address pe aa hi nhi rha tha. Office jaao toh bolte hai ma'am aapko yahan form bharna chahiye tha aapne online bhar diya. Usme toh time lagta hai. Kuch time baad officer change hua. Usme kaafi help ki meri. Tab mujhe pata chala mera house number galat fill kar diya tha maine jiske vajah se problem ho rhi thi. My father is in CAPF , the way he works is a big motivation for me ...
And whenever a call comes , he needs to go at late night/ early morning as well.
Irrespective of getting appreciation/medals from other people , the way he works is speechless.

I'm a gov employee and yes, the whole department works even on holiday. The leave timing is 6:10 on paper only, we never left office before 7 pm.
We have told to work in limited resources but the works has increased a lot. But we are still doing it with 'ineffective and unreliable' tag on us.

My father is a state govt employee, and really hats off to him , he goes to work every working day and currently he's also suffering from cough and cold still going to office . And I have a uncle too who works in the our village under the BDO , and a few more relatives , all of them are honest and haven't taken any bribes , they always teach me that too .

He goes 8 in the morning and comes back by 9 in night. He is in Bank of Baroda.
And before that he was in Indian Navy, I have always seen him as a person who gives his 200% in his job.

My father works in SBI as a clerk. But he is a Army retired and works full dedicatedly and honestly. My father does the maximum work in thier branch and most of the customers comes to my father for solution. Especially our principal sir.. teaches maths for 12th class students upto 11pm, and exactly at 5am he will come to hostel to wake up 12th students, and on 7am he will be present in school... hats off to his dedication even at the age of 57

My Father is a govt employee and before retirement he was into service for nearly 39 years and because of his honesty and hardwork state govt granted him 2 years of service extension..Btw he is not an IAS or IPS officer whose extension is quite common.Really feeling proud while sharing this☺️☺️☺️

My father was a vetinary doctor in the state govt. At one point of time , due to shortage of doctors, he had the charge of 18 hospitals at once. He was a very hard working and respected employee of the department.

My father is working in central govt, and he rarely takes any leaves and also brings extra work from office to complete it in home, during weekends.
Once I asked him that why dosent he takes any leaves or offs and work in weekends. He replied "there is too much pending work, old people need pension to sustain themselves, a widow needs money to send her kids to school, and many other important documents which need to be cleared because they significantly effects life of someone. I can't help them all but I should give my best". I was speechless, my father never received any best worker awards and is working for 25 years now. I salute my dad and all the other hardworking govt employees.
I studied at a government school and I have to say that some of our teachers were so hardworking. Every morning we look at which teacher is absent and some of the teachers never take leave irrespective of weather or anything we were like yeh chutti kyu nahi leta.

The backbone of Indian Railways- Loco pilots. No fix timing of their duty, once they board a train for duty it normally takes 2 days to get back home. No Holi Diwali. Freezing weather or heatwave, train has to go. They work very hard. Huge respect

The most inspiring thing about his job was to ensure the proper supply of water(PHE dept) in remote area of kasrawad in west nimar region( which is mostly water deficit region of mp)
Me, my sisters and my mother barely have seen any Sunday holiday. He use to work even on Sundays and bring the office work to home and complete the work till late.
Sometimes we hated absence of father even on holidays.
In the summer time, when water deficit is at its peak, he even use to stay at office and was not able to come home for 2-3 days just to ensure proper supply of water.
He is just so hardworking and dedicated that that even his colleagues use to say to maa and I quote -
"Babhiji Jain sahab jaisa kaam to him kabhi zindagi me nhi kar paye"
He just retired 2 months ago and is still doing some pending work and going office frequently even now just to ensure smooth transfer of work to new colleague
So yeah gov. Job is very big responsibility if you can understand the gravity of work and the dependency of people on your work.

It is common perspective of people that none govt emp. Works willingly but it is case mostly in chairwork jobs
But in reality the police department and railways department ground level employees mostly group c and d workers work more than 12 hrs a day and night

My dad is in govt job and I tell you he's the kind who even goes on sat & sun, where others look for whom to give away "their own" work, he takes up work so that it doesn't get delayed. Still shows me the value of hard work at his age. The entire department now depends on him & respects him including directors & commissioners and all bcz of his hard work & dedication. He's just amazing!

My grandfather when he was working in SBI (after retirement from Armed forces), when my mom's marriage (his daughter's marriage) he didn't took a single leave for the marriage function. That sincerely my grandfather worked as a government worker. So proud of him 😌♥️
My father was a clerk in DM office. I never seen him, steal from work. When he was ill,at time of covid he go to office. Head of officers asked him not to come office,take rest. You can make fake report of covid also for not biased in payment. But my refused,at time his platlets where too low. If we not arrive at time, conditions may too serious.
My father make a good impression infront of there senior, when he took files too checkup,he signed without seeing it properly. Other person said, padh to lete phle aap. He replied, mjhe inn par pura bharosa h, inse glti nhi hogi.
Another incident was,when my father go to bought some office things like paper,etc. Shopkeeper (Solar shop) asked him to make fake bill. But papa refused. My respect to him as with this perspective was too much. Salute you papa ❤

My father is a government teacher. He is so hardworking that even on Saturday and Sunday he works in block, BLO , election commission and not getting paid extra. Even knowing that the children he teaches are not regular but still he teaches them and never take a leave for unusual reason. He was also magistrate of COVID 19 in quarantine and vaccine. He was working overtime time so that the people can be treated on time.💯💯🙂

My father is a senior class 1 officer working in Maharashtra for 20 years or more. He is damn hardworking and smart. He has more than 1 year and more of leave left. As a proof of his competence he is completing his pHD from IIT Bombay also while working for the office without taking any leaves. He is a stark contrast to many other government peeps.

My dad is also a government employee and only 8yrs remaining for his retirement but still he is dedicated towards his job and has a very good impression among his colleagues and higher authorities. yeah thats true my father he works like all 6 days he is a government servant because if he doesn't then the work pipeline will get affected ... he never takes leave recently may grandmother died but he take just 1 day off to go in my village on 13th day of death ceremony and then came back same day ... his department has recived awards by government fir efficient working ..within time and one day he told me when I was telling him of my today's target like I have to complete these topics and he told that he too set a target in office that day of sales of that month in his corporation and they successfully achieved it the target was 20percent more than before covid situation .. I think yes we have many people in government who works hard but yeah many are there who dont work much ..... both sides are true ...

My mom is school principal at government school handling almost 1000 kids a day still never takes Saturday off ever goes time to time never misses her day rarely have i seen her take a day of and recently she took some kids from school for their first airplane ride
We have asked her to retire early if she wants but she always says she loves being around those kids and taking care of them. She is a legend!

My father is PSU bank employee.. He never let his day off even when my mother was fighting with cancer.. He is physically disabled still he and 2-3 of his colleagues manage the whole branch worthing the capacity of 12-13 employees... Moreover he stays ready for going to court and CBI head office whenever situation arises... I don't know if I can say him best dad of world but I can say he is the one of the best and honest citizens this country got... The most important thing I learnt from him is being a competent player in market and knowing my rights and responsibilities.... No one can manage to be as honoured as all those employees and security services personnels as they are doing what we all together can't do for our and our people's future

after serving in army for 20 yrs my father join revenue department of Maharashtra as an village accountant.... people were amazed to see that a government employee arrives everyday before 9 and goes after 6( usually in rural part government employee comes to office around 11 and leaves before 5) and yes he is different due to the soldier in him..by the way government of Maharashtra also gave him a big reward after retirement in 2022 by not giving a single penny of his NPS till this date, it's been a year only the pension from army service is the source of income for him. That's how bureaucracy works
My father is one such man working in a psu. He is my hero. I have never seen a more hardworking and honest man than him. Aj tak ghar mein ek rupaiya bhi haram ka nahi aya and I am very proud of it and he is my role model.
My father works in police as a head constable
1- Shifts are 12 hrs atleast with no day off and on day of changing shift you have do double shift.
2- Leaves are there but they are always unavailable due to one reason or the other.
3- No healthcare. The procedure to reimburse the expenses is so tedious and long that it may take almost an year to get it.
4-Many a times police has to use their own money for police vehicle fuel, transporting criminals, etc
5- People may think that police is bad but it's just a baton in the hand of politicians. Public think the baton is bad but not the master holding the stick.
I don't say my father has never taken a Paisa but I can say that he hasn't taken a Paisa of corruption in 20+ years. I am very proud of that.
My grandfather and big brother of my father both are in railway mechanical department my big father is so responsible to his duty never saw him taking unnecessary leaves and when i visited his office he is so supportive to his junior colleagues that his colleagues start praising him in front of me and my grandfather told his story that whenever any officer send him to purchase material from local delhi market shakur basti he never make overpriced bills even shopkeeper tell him to do so. He said he never steal anything from department even saw some employee do it❤️💯. I will also want to join railways as they do but unfortunately this govt didn't announced any recruitment since 4 to 5 years 🥺😔

Around 126 Leaves per year (52 Sundays + 25 Days summer vacations + 15 days winter vacation+ 14CL + 20-25 public holidays = 126* and that is equal or less than any other private employee. 😒😒😒
My father is working for the state electricity dept as an engineer. He is one of the most loyal, sincere and honest officers in his department. Most of the people who are/were holding same position have looted public in the name of corruption and have become so called rich according to the society in all the wrong means. We are happy at what we have and seeing my father, same values have been automatically instilled in me. Proud of my father for being sincere to his service.

I have a story to tell :- i won't reveal identity or employee status of the person mentioned here but , my relative is a government employee, and his job revolves around higher education, he once told us that in his office there are many employees of many casts his boss is a upper cast man , so one day all of them were working and the boss assigned a task to a lady who is being paid 1lakh+ per month for her job , this employee barges in to the bosses office and ask him for leave ,the boss ask why whe gives some reason completely weak , but the boss still calls my relative and ask if he could take her job insted. My relative refuses it (he is her senior paid more and has more responsibilities) , and he complained to the boss about the women that she take so many leaves she don't work on simple tasks assigned to her and is reluctant, so
The boss calls the women and he scolds her a little , that women
Says this :- " you don't talk to me like that , and you can't force me to work , i will file atrocitie against you in police "
She is a scheduled cast woman and all the other employees complain that she doesn't work and if told on her face she every time , calls out her ace " i will file an atrocite, i will file a police complaint" and no one not even boss argues more to her because they do t want trouble
Now this is the part of whole scenario that is played between a hardworking and not working employee and you can't do anything.
My father works at a govt school as a clerk. For some reason he's the only one who have to make round trips the city and back to the village (sometimes multiple trips) because none of the colleagues are willing to get the work done.
I have a senior Tehsildar who had resolved 1200+ revenue cases within 8 months. He used to leave his office every day at 6 to 8 pm to finish the case quickly.
