I often fail to make out what someone says when they start speaking, but tune in after a few words. This makes whatever they've said meaningless because I don't know the context, so I have to ask them to repeat the whole sentence. Also, I miss-hear sounds; for instance, if someone on the radio says the name "Jeremy", I hear "Geremy". Oh, I also have tinnitus. Yes, I probably should get my hearing tested!
Sir I can hear the speech but not understand but if any sound comes from the speech it can be understood.
I can hear but cant understand ..
It's extraordinary that Drs Whitaker and Luekenga are publishing a video on hearing loss and clarity with such bad quality sound, especially since it can be corrected by a $15 tie clip mic. The mic that's picking up their speech is presumably on the video recorder and it's picking up numerous echoes from the room.
You'll have to check out our newer videos -- much better audio!

alot of times its like charlie browns teacher for me if there is even a little background noise and yes i have horrible tinnetus.
Charlie Brown's teacher 🤣. That's a lot like what high frequency hearing loss sounds like. High frequency hearing loss often results in tinnitus as well. Have you had your hearing tested or tried hearing aids as treatment?
😄
There are assorted neural connection problems that have nothing to do with the common auditory functions, but need the intervention of a good neurologist.
Tru stuff
Is it curable?
