Shamans Ascendance NEEDS an updated model | War Within Alpha

- The model for Shamans Ascendance has been outdated for a long long time, it needs to change.
So here's my suggestion on how they should update it. PLEASE CHANGE IT.

I actually was going to post something about this, the model comes from Cataclysm. And there is a classic version now!! Also, they need to update lighting bolt and chain lightning as well. Other classes had more than 1 update on their spells so far.
I always thought it should've just been like boomkin star form glyph, just with elements. Like literally become wind and lightning. Also i think every ascendance should give unique effect. Like air gives levitate and avoidance for example.
Also while I'm on the topic where is fourth brother of avatar? I can't be the only one who thinks that shamans need fourth spec to be earth tank with shield and hammer.
while you're at it redesign guardian of ancient kings from prot pally it looks terrible

Reasonably, Ascendance should go back to being baseline for all specs... and you should be able to Barber Shop it.
After all, why shouldn't Lava/Elementalist Enhance be able to look like a Fire Ascendant? Why couldn't Resto be an Earth Ascendant?
This is as a "I'm here for Storm only" kinda guy.

Tell them to make tempest replace earthquake/ lightning bolt and make it a tornado.
Makes more sense this way having both of them tied to a spender
all shaman needs visual update and talent rework.
i am playing shaman since Nyalotha and i have to say... yes pls ascendance an update. or at least make the animations of ascendance not that wonky!

Blizzard never loved the Shamans....we got and still get treated like the stepchild no one loves and thats why!
I mained Resto for 14 Years. I am still loving all 3 Shamans Specs but Blizzard has no clue what to do with Ele and Resto. Atleast they know what to do with Enh.
Its about time that they give the Shaman class more visuals and update old Models like Ascendance.
Big agree! I'm not to up2date with resto/ele but from what i've heard over the years it's been alot of hit & miss & miss & miss.

Deeply rooted elements sucks. Getting short bursts of ascendance never let me feel ascended besides getting a small damage bump in the meters. A lot of classes are getting theirs big buttons reworked for tww and I was thinking how shaman looks so goofy when becoming some other creature.. I never liked morphing into an elemental. It doesn't make sense. Becoming empowered or imbued or charged should look like dathea does indeed. Thrall never transformed into some slim waisted stormy fellow. It's silly!! It ruins the immersion!
On that theme we need ghost form customization!!!
If only ascendance was worth press....DRE procs are worth more since the proc Into ascendance is better then being in ascendance...I don't mind the form now but yes and update would be awesome even the one you showed but ascendance should feel good like a ret pally popping wings. Imagine if procing wings did a massive explosion in holy damage and then you get a minor dps increase during wings. People would be playing around how many I can proc rather then trying to stay in wings. Best example is balance druid. AP...was by far so op that they have to remove it in order to give other playstyles a chance. Procing incarn/eclipse by feeding into the loop was 100% stronger then OS because 2 min incarn vs almost 100% uptime on incarn because of the power of mastery for balance was too strong. Any chance to proc your major cd is stronger then being able to use it every 2 to 3 min

Just bring back the glyph, if some people enjoy or don't care about this form. Removing the glyph was the most stupid decision.
I mained shaman dragonflight season 2 and started playing last week of shadow lands. I was one of those guys who didnt even knew why the model was what it is... Until this vid tbh. I always think the model was awful, mb to all ascendents fans or anything, but it didnt resemble a little what my vulpera looks like
