What a great comparison - i have owned several 450 KTM 450s and as it is i like my 21 FE the best so far and it is still not as complicated as some of the newer ones - but time has come to replace it for 2025 and looking very hard at the 350s - thanks for all you do for the dirt community
Glad you like the channel! For me the 25 KTM 350XCF is such a great combination of Power/Weight/Handling in a 4-stroke dirt bike and with the 6-speed transmission, GNCC off road suspension setting, fuel held low on the chassis, new more compliant frame...well it really is a fun and tunable bike. And the latest 450's are also so refined and easy to ride. Nice to have choices!
Nice bikes! Not a lot of hard pack tracks around here. Either the tracks are ripped deep, muddy, or you're in sand so I doubt that I could even tell. Can't wait for you to compare the ktm's to honda's! I've never considered honda after the front tuck history and what people say about the handling characteristics but some of the reviews coming out have me reconsidering. The ergo's on the honda sound good for taller riders. If you don't mind me asking, what ergo's between the brands seem best for taller rider as far as rider triangle and seat height?
I am 6'2" tall and find the latest CRF's and 23/24 YZ450F's feel very good to me. I feel pretty good on the latest KTM models too. I was not a fan of the 22 and prior YZ250/450F ergos - those felt cramped to me.

I run whatever the manufacturer recommends. For KTM's that is Motorex products.
ok, i have to ask......your 450 KTM's are nice bikes from what you describe but, how are they compared to the 2025 honda 450? two different animals, both are good, does one outshine the other pertaining to the KTM vs. Honda
