- After finally biting the bullet, I recently submitted my first comic books to CGC!! The crazy thing is I already have them back, and I wanted to share what grades I got back from them!!

Curious, I'm a sports mag guy and don't know much about comics but we learn cleaning, pressing etc from you comic guys cuz you've been doing it much longer than us. I haven't watched a comic video yet where anybody's into Iron Man. Why is that? Considered lame? Also, I'm older and I can't see FRAGILE without pronouncing it that way myself cuz of the movie as well. That movie was set in Hammond, Indiana where I was born and raised.

Awesome Chris! Always love to see CGC content and what started it all for us, COMICS! Congrats on the 9.8's and that Detective Comics #566 looks oddly familiar. 😉 Sorry it didn't get a higher grade for ya, curious to see what the grader notes say. I'm waiting for my recent submission to be graded, they just got cleaned and pressed but I know they won't be 9.8's. They are all Silver Age, I prescreened for 5.0 or higher. 🤞🏻

@@BatmanStatueCollector there's always next submission my friend. My general rule of thumb is if I didn't pick it directly from my comic book shop and it's not a modern book I usually will always press and clean. The more you examine the books and submit the better you will get at knowing what to look for.
There is no better feeling then opening a brand new box. When opening a statue, the feeling is amazing. Opening lego is special, opening action figures fenomal. But opening a cgc box with the comics you send yourself, that is for me another extra personal feeling. I still remember opening my first cgc box. I was super nervous, it felt like I was back in school getting my resulst from my finals exams 😂. But Congratulations on your grades. I love that Fabok. That cover is really stunning 👍👏👏. The Deathstroke is fenomenaal. And please, don't have any regret on the 9.0 on the I Am Bane. It's more then decent. Indeed hihger is very possible, but maybe in the future you can hunt down a higer copy. The 7.0 can indeed make decent money I guess around 50 dollar for a raw copy. So maybe 75-85 for a 7.0. I did saw that a 9.4 has been sold for 119 and another one for 123.

I am a Batman comic book collector. I have a Batman comic from the '60s I believe. I'm really excited about submitting it to CGC comics I am also a cartoonist. Hopefully I will publish my first kids comic. I am immensely into drawing and I draw just about 24/7 as much as I can for my youtube channel! 7:20
Thinking to do this for my mtg cards, but i live in Finland, i guess i can send to germany and they forward them if they dont grade in germany.. im not sure if they do or not.. I never done this either before..Watched your previous video aswell.

i have some books that i have kept from over the years, i want to display them and i thought about CGC submission. When you sent these in, i know in the original video you didnt press them or anything. I am curious because like some coomics straight off the shelf at the store have wripples and what not. Did any of your moderns have any sort of blemishes where you thought a 9.8 wasnt possible. Just curioous before i start sending my own books in.
Do the comics come back cased and graded as shown?
Bro tell us which batman comics unvies i should follow now i read lots of batman comics sandman comics but its no point of reading
If these books are intended for display, instead of sending these comics to CGC, why not display the raw comic in a mylar bag with a clear board from ComicPro or Comic Clear? Is the CGC grade a necessary validation for inclusion in your display?
How much did u pay to get them cgced
How long did it take from shipping them off to receiving them back?
I think around 3 months
CGC will do an event with Jason Fabok Chris. Will you be resubmitting that Detective Comic #1000?
