there are very few videos that show how to clean a carpet without a machine it might seem like a silly thing to search for but im glad i found your video
I currently can’t afford to buy/rent a carpet cleaner but I can get a brush/bucket from the dollar store thanks so much! Now I feel motivated and less defeated about cleaning my home! :D
I have 2 machines but just today I did an area by hand that had a stain. I didn't want to drag out the machines for a 2'x2' stain! This is how I grew up cleaning carpet and even some rag throw rugs. It's great exercise and kinda feels good getting down and scrubbing with a brush.
Water, small brush & what else please? Okay- I read through the comments & learned it’s “savon “ or soap. So it’s a little water (hot), soap & a good brush! Thank you
This is the old fashion way! The best way to clean is to get down and dirty! I wish I was able to clean like this again. Your carpet already looks so clean! How do you rinse?
If using this method or machine,a encapsulation cleaning solution is rinsed with subsequent vacuuming. Using a microfiber cloth will help dry,and remove additional soil.
I washed my rugs by hand and scrubbed too hard. I ended up peeling some skin off my finger but now I know how to do it. Excited to do it again (abliet more carefully)
I have a cat and a German shepherd, the dog is long haired and sheds all year round.. I’ve gone through several vacuum’s just from trying to get all his hair up.. my cat has begun pissing on my leather couch and the dog who is potty trained has started marking as well bc of the cat.. I have two front rooms and a stair case all carpeted 😑 I just started a new job so I don’t have the cash to splurge on a carpet cleaner yet.. but when I do come home and it’s getting warmer out the house smells like hot pee in some areas depending on where the breeze blows with the windows open.. and I hate that! So I’ve come here bc I’m thinking a bucket and water and a brush can donut but again my front rooms are the size of maybe two high school classrooms (on the larger side) so this may be back breaking but I’m willing 💁🏽♀️ thanks for sharing!
It would have been helpful to know what soap she used. I don't object to getting on my hands and knees, but how do you extract the soap? If you don't do that, it will just attract more dirt.
That’s actually what I wanted to get info on when clicking this. I was thinking: lay a towel over it and walk over it and then run a fan aimed directly at. Maybe an area heater as well.
My concern too especially here in England the weather is constantly wet and just not hot enough. Best to use as little water as possible, droplets literally
Water can be removed with a small wet/dry shop vac. Doing so removes moisture/wetness from deep in the carpet and the dirt from the carpet is removed and not dried back into carpet. Another tip… vacuum, vacuum before starting to clean carpet.
Yeah, I'm no cleaning specialist but wouldn't vinegar help? And it would be worth buying a dehumidifier then. You don't want to soak your carpet down to the bottom unless you have adequate airflow and dehumidifier. Your best bet it to leave a dehumidifier running for a good month minimum

which brush did you use?
How did you clean your carpet aside from brushing? How did you rinse? Sorry, I don’t understand this video.
Get a carpet cleaning solution and but a few drops in a gallon of water. Mix and then use the brush to spread the solution on the carpet.
How do you dry it?
First one here today 💃💃💃
Thanks dear for support me
All soap or detergent has salt as one of the ingredients.
Water and salt are natural cleansers so yes good video 😎
Good job sis

I remembered doing the same thing but with dish soap
Was dish soap just as effective?

Just be cautious about mild possibly growing if you wet it too much 👍🏼

Places like dubai is very hot once the carpet dries quick mould shouldn't be an issue
My concern too especially here in England the weather is constantly wet and just not hot enough. Best to use as little water as possible, droplets literally
Add Baking Soda or Vinegar to avoid mold and mild dew. Alum can substitute for Baking Soda. Make sure they mix well with the water.
Please what did she add in the water
Won’t it make smell after ,?
What did you say you put in the water? I cannot understand that word - sabonne? What is that?
it means soap in arabic
I didn't understand what you used. Can someone tell me?
Nze ebyokoza carpet nabiwona wenkolera sibantu ba carpet
It’s very heasy😍😍😂😂😂
How how do you remove the moisture?

Eeehh you do it without a machine,, me I can't because I have almost 30 carpets in the house and they are all wide🥺🥺🥺
Please what do u do write

God bless you too naye ejo emikono nze sijirina😡😡
It doesn't show where the dirt is going? What is the outcome? Not helpful
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂batulabilee😂😂😂Ani gwolumya ekifubaaa
What is the word between water and brush, I didn’t understand it.
Soap😂
@@rrina5354😊
What's sub bone?
soap
Water and Saboon? What’s saboon?
Soap
Did she just use soap and water?
what is sub bone
soap
You didn't say how to go about drying it. That's my issue.
Maybe I'm wrong but I think she adds shampoo
Yo, what she say we need 0:33 sub bone? What’s that
"Sabun"- just means soap in the local language
You can do this with a mop
has anyone done it without mold growing?

The soil is just gonna sit and cake at the bottom now
