If you skewer the bunnies (without perforating them all the way), dip them in the concrete and set them to dry by sticking the skewers in floral foam or other a container they will come out great.
I love the bunnies. I am a teacher and I was thinking I could do this with my students for Easter 🐣. Once they are dry they can paint them. Thank you for the inspiration 🌻
I love that you show little mistakes or sidetracks, like not mixing things exactly right the first time. This is a huge part of diy (or learning anything really) and it’s far more helpful how you keep it real instead of falling perfection. Also love that you are so genuine and sincere. Thank you for your videos ♥️♥️♥️
LFDIY: LOVE the "High End" Dupe's! Another way to get speckles...is to apply a small amount of paint onto a toothbrush and "flick" the paint onto the object. Works great and you can control coverage. TFS :D
Hey Liz... I love the fact that you use actual examples from expensive sites. What an amazing idea and you have the ingenuity to make it happen. You definitely have a gift!!! Thank you 😊
Definitely. I love this video. Yes . I do agree. You should make more of this videos. I am going to be making some of it for my spring decorations. God bless you.
It's a demon. I had a series of near death experiences and I came away from each with visions and a knowledge of the unseen. We're in the Biblical battle of principalities. With evil abound, once you see it, you can't unsee. You're obviously very sensitive. I was just visiting my son and his fiancee and I felt that familiar dark presence. I called on Jesus and two shadows came to life and flew around furiously before leaving the premises. It doesn't mean she is bad or my kids or bad, it's just that we're inundated with them. Unless we stay vigilant, they're an inevitable sign of these end times.
They all turned out great! My favorite is your candle & your bowl! As always thank you for sharing your creativity, talent and inspiration! Stay safe, healthy and positive! GOD bless you and your family! 🙏❤🇺🇸😊
My favorite item you made was the textured bowl that you used caulking in and painted. I also loved the vase that you added the handles to and the quick-crete bunnies in the beginning.
You can put a piece of double side sticky tape to get your wicks to stay in place too Liz. I was glad to see you using gloves with the quick-set, and not because I am finicky either. Its because of the lye and other items used in the mix, it dries out the skin like crazy, and you really do not want to absorb any through your skin. I like these dupes Liz! A suggestion if possible, put a photo of your creation beside the one online so we can see the comparison. 🖼
Hey Liz. I’m watching while filming. I just got a glue gun and was so happy when I got the notification of your video. I want to do more DIYs and you are the perfect teacher and your projects are the perfect inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing your gift💕💕
The eggs both sets. The sea glass with the candles. Liz you NEVER fail to do something thay attracts me. You have excellent taste and never seem to fail. There is another way to speckle things with a fan brush, paint, and a pallet knife. Are you award of that way?
I saw the eggs had holes...I would put them on a skewer, and stick the skewer in a piece of solid styrofoam to hold them. The painting/drying/spraying may be alot easier. The same could be done with the Styrofoam eggs.
I Love the bowl and bunnie's, they turned out really cute and I plan on making them. I'm going to try doing the bunny and egg idea and do them in terracotta clay that the dollar tree has now.
I've been telling myself I'm not doing any Easter decor....then here you come with these! 😲😆😍😍. But you do have some diys that are not about Easter that would work for me. Thank you 😊
When I saw the bowl that you made with the tube of caulk and the lines that you made it it, I thought it would look cute as a head of cabbage if it were painted green and had a bunny sitting in it! Love the sea glass tray. Those colors are just so soothing to me.
Most spray paints melt Styrofoam - I am not sure if that would be the case with that specialty textured paint. You could totally use it after coating the bunnies with the Quikrete though and would give an awesome texture! That would be cool to use on the eggs too!
@@trevaherman5415 I believe what they are talking about is a stone spray paint. You can get it at any hardware store. If you shop at Walmart, You could check to see if they have it there also. 😊
@@trevaherman5415I've always loved crafting. I'm 53 years old, and I got a candle making kit from my new stepdad when I was a child. Our very first project was a bowl candle. We poured one color, tilted it sideways to dry, poured another color, tilted the other way to dry, then evened it off with a third complementary color. I can even remember the scent. I was so proud of our scented maroon/ eggplant/ wine colored bowl candle! (We removed it from the bowl) This video brought back happy memories!
I absolutely love looking at your crafting . I'm waiting for my tapestry to come cause thanks to you I'm doing one for my daughters new apartment. Thank you so much!
Liz , I want to share with you my visit to Home Depot 2 days ago. I was buying some supplies and spray paints for my dollar tree DIYS , a customer was leaving with real spiked plants $10 each. I told her how she can make them using dollar tree plant pots and onion grass stems as I have made. So I gave her your link to watch your videos and she was grateful, same with a second customer I shared your link..I love your videos, great ideas, especially the glass bowl with the tube of caulking I believe and you using the concrete for dipping the foam eggs..Thank you for sharing ❤
So mixing Quikrete is like mixing pancake batter (too much water -> add more powder, too much -> add more water -> 500 pancakes). LOL The bunnies turned out so cute though!
Some quick ideas to add to your ideas, 1) the spray paint could be easily done with an old tooth brush, 2) for the textured bowl, u could use clay, since I see that u already had the clay for another project, that handled vase item. 3) As u are going to cover it up with paint, why not go for something u already have? Economical as well. Coz I know a caulk gun costs more than a pack of air dry clay(some 400gms come in a pack, where I live) could use some sand stuck in a specific pattern to create the texture and design on a plain bowl/display tray or anything--looks great and simple to do! U could even get ur kid involved, sticking sand in a bowl, a nice afternoon activity!!
Yes, these diys are great and easy. Love that bowl. I have seen them painted and glued to candle holders for decor also. Very nice. I cannot wait to try these. Please, more, more. Thanks for sharing.
What awesome projects! I can't pick just one favorite. The speckled eggs, cement bunnies, & caulked bowl all tied for 1st place with everything else a very close 2nd.
The bowl and the vase turned out so nice....definitely not a DT look to either of them. Thanks for sharing, your presentation style is easy to listen to.
I love these DIY high-end dupe videos. I do a lot of thrift shopping, and I can sometimes get things cheaper at thrift stores or garage sales to use for these projects.
Liz you always amaze me with your creativity! You are one of my favorites. There is not one video of yours that I have not enjoyed. Thank you for sharing your talents! I love them all! Hard to pick just one! ❤️❤️

I love the clothes you wear while doing your projects. Do you ever ruin anything with spilled paint, glue, cement, etc,? I think it's cool that you look nice while also being so creative 😊
I love all of the creative ideas you have. We are buying our first home and I seriously think it’s going to be completely decorated with all ideas you gave me!

Such great ideas! I love them all. But my favorites are the speckled eggs and the speckled vase. You are so creative. I like seeing dupes of high end decor.
I love to use the foam eggs. I wrap them in fun floral spring fabrics and mod podge them down. Makes a great little filler or hang them using twine as a fun Garland. Can even paint letters on them to say happy Easter and such.
I use a toothbrush to fleck paint on projects and it works great. Never get any lines. Love pottery barn dupes, would like split screen to pottery barn piece/ dupe shot. So fun!!

The bunnies, how cuuute!😍
If you skewer the bunnies (without perforating them all the way), dip them in the concrete and set them to dry by sticking the skewers in floral foam or other a container they will come out great.
Great idea!! I thought the same thing for the eggs. There is a hole at the bottom that you can put a skewer in.
That's a great idea!!
That's exactly what I was going to recommend.
So Smart 🤓 great idea
When i make candles I put sound essential oil in them that way they smell as pretty as they look.
Yes!! I want to do what she did, but I was thinking of adding fragrance oil as well! (fragrance instead of essential)
Such a great idea, plus candles are so expensive, I ♥️♥️♥️ THIS IDEA!!

Hi KeyanaG_XOXO. It's my pleasure to share. 😄
I love the way you did the speckled eggs! The eggs, the sea glass candle display, and the bowl were my favorites!
Quick Tip: whenever you have to pick up hot glass, wrap each “hand” of your tongs with a rubber band. This will keep the glass from slipping.😊
Thanks for that helpful tip, Kate Sullivan! Happy crafting. 👍🌹

There are always many special DIYs in each of your videos
Wow! You're almost 500k Liz.....When I started watching your channel it's only 200k . Great job!
Oh, thank you, Jessielyn Chan Paraiso. Stay safe. ❤️
I love the brown and white bowl. I think that white tray with the sea glass would look even better with the addition of fairy lights to the tray.
I love the concrete bunnies! I've played with the quick set before, but I've never made it that thin. Good to know that it works well!
For the speckles you can just get paint on the end of a brush and pull the bristles back and fling paint on there! Love this!
I Love the bowl and bunnie's, they turned out really cute and I plan on making them. I'm going to try doing the bunny and egg idea and do them in terracotta clay that the dollar tree has now.

I’ve seen the speckled look by flicking a wet paint brush with paint. But the little spraying bottle is genius.. thx Liz 😃
an old tooth brush also does the work...I always do that and it comes out good each time.
