Hey, Liz what you should have done with the shirt & pants set would be to leave the pants on the hanger that it's on and put the shirt over the top of the pants. I've done it for years!
I have always brought lists of sizes of containers etc I'm looking for. Recently I saw someone cut out a sheet of paper the size of the space and fold it up and take it to the store. That way you can lay out the containers on the paper to see if they will fit your space. I thought that was a pretty smart idea and better than trying to do a bunch of math to see if multiple containers will fit.
I've been slowly doing our house, space by space. My husband even did the 2 junk drawers. I need to do under the sink next. Thank you for the inspiration.

I had no idea you could do that with the trash can bags... just leave them attached and at the bottom of can! Duh!!! Brilliant!! And I also love the spoon holder because it has a place for the lid, too. I never know where to put the lid. Thank you! Organization. 😊
Yes, I am a huge Walmart fan! I love their prices and their home decor can be very competitive with much more affordable pricing! Thank you for all of the great tips and strategies!
We were at an Air BNB last fall and had very few bowls. I bought the set at Walmart and then brought them home. I also purchased a rubber bath mat for the shower because my husband is a fall risk. I’ve started a bin of similar items that I plan to pack any time we travel in case we need them.
I have been doing organizational cleaning for each room since I moved into my apartment. It's so refreshing to let go of what needed to go, but even better to see things tidied up! I didn't mind doing it because it was one room at a time! ❤❤❤
I keep rubber bands in one, staples in another. I got some similar ones from Dollar Tree that I have spare keys and thumb drives in. They are really versatile and great for keeping all those little things corralled!
You were my first inspiration for all the crafts using Dollar Tree items and I always love watching every video for all that you make, design, teach and beyond - from crafts to organization.... I'm very grateful to you!

Also use transparent bins for the Summer house bathroom which has simple equipment. I love to have my skincare and make-up products on the bathroom counter to be able to see them. I bought a couple of small bins which contain my products and are stored in the drawers when we are away from this Summer house. The products catch no dust and the counter is easy clean. Upon my arrival I grab the bins from the drawers and leave them on the counter. Then back in the drawers when holidays are over. It takes less than five minutes to empty the countertop. I clean the bins and the products from time to time. If some of you are lucky to have a small Summer house, as I am, you certainly do know a lot of "tricks" to keep this house easy to maintain. I’ve had the under-sink organizer from Amazon for years and I love what it’s done for me. I could do the tension rod hack, so this was the way to go.
