Hi Dale, I must say that I found watching this video extremely relaxing - not least owing to your customary calm and cheerful manner, and the thoughtful and informative commentary - thank you. I have stayed at a hotel where there was a TV speaker and volume control in the bathroom - I think it was a slightly upmarket place in Manhattan, if I recall correctly, but it may have been in Berlin. What I didn't expect was for you to take 'us lot' into the bathroom to discuss knob-twiddling! 😂 ...though, to be fair, that says more about me and my strange sense of humour than anything else! 😳
🤣🤣🤣🤣 when I am knob twisting I like to share it with you lot. 🤣🤣🤣. It is the first time I had seen that in a hotel. I’ve still never understood the phone thing either
I laughed so much watching this video. Especially from 12:00 minutes on whilst you were showing us the seat and that horrid woman next to you was trying to sleep, you were banging things, tapping things and I was crying knowing she was sat next to you trying to sleep, what must she have been thinking haha thanks so much Dale really made my day. Great videos all around 👍
I’m amazed at how few people thank flight crews. I flew back and forth to Seattle for a number of years from Philadelphia or NYC and I was surprised at the pleasant reactions I got from crew by my simply saying please and thank you. I even had a flight attendant provide me with her personal stash of hot sauce to spice up some chili because I said please when I ordered it.
@@dalecharmantravels8057 And I agree - these people are working, they are not there to take grief - and they may save your life should something go badly wrong - give them the right reason to remember you
Shame the 'lady' sitting next to you had not had your good manners and respect for other people. l hope she did not make you uncomfortable on the flight. Thanks for taking us with you. 😃😃

Great video Dale. Incidentally, new 2024TS was seen being hauled along the Great Western Main Line at West Ealing and has safely arrived at Ruislip Depot- but not before some clown decided to graffiti it en route. Welcome to London!
I enjoy these as much as your workaday Piccadilly line videos. Have you ever done the long haul to Sydney? And do you suffer more doing a trip via separate legs, or direct flights? I’m just curious - I do Sydney - London in stages via Japan to break it up. The long haul is too much!😀

Interesting video, it's been years since I flew in Thai business class. It wasn't great back then either (early 2000s). Unlucky for you that the snooty woman ended up in the seat next to you. Look on the bright side, being sat next to a bloke wearing shorts must have made her day. ;)
Maybe that’s what started her off. Me in shorts in business class how dare I 🤣🤣. The cabin was dated but for a short flight it was very good. Especially when you compare it to what you would get in Europe
@@dalecharmantravels8057 I’ve just got back from a business trip in London, and in my hotel bathroom there was a ‘thing’ next to the sink that looked like some sort of mini bear trap 😂 It made my brain itch and as I didn’t fancy sticking my finger in to see what happened, I asked at reception. Hi Dale thanks for sharing your trip to Bangkok. Always enjoy your informative vlogs. Hate salmon as well, but food on flight looked good, as appeared to be the flight experience, apart from fellow passenger. Nice one Dale and thanks for taking "us lot", with you! 😊 👍

I've had similar in the UK many years ago. Can't remember whether it was in the days of a separate radio in the room or whether it was TV sound. Then it would have been a local feed of the radio onto the TV done in-house. Nowadays it's via Freeview.
Holy moley Dale! I got tired just watching you! Sadly, I’ve never been to Hong Kong. I had a cat that went there once. They are not very narrow, of cause it all depends on your size. In the upright position they do feel open and spacious but granted in the bed mode it is a little more snug
