16:27 Just because I'm in business class I don't think I'm entitled to have everything done for me. I wish there were more people like you out there. Thanks for another enjoyable video 😊
Enjoyable video as always, Dale. Those seats certainly look rather snug widthwise. I've never been a fan of the BA Club World cabins with head-to-tail lay flat seats. My favourite for comfort were the old cradle seats. Good amount of recline and super-comfortable cushioning.
Dale, Hello again. Before I forget I wanted to wish you a 🎂😊 HAPPY Belated Birthday. I hope you had a great day. The video was great. The lounge food looked good. I’m like you I like the sweet stuff. I would probably eat the cake first.,the Lamb looked good also. All the times my family and I used British Airways we have had good service.I have never been in First Class but have been bumped up to Business at least twice that I remember. I hope whatever was stressing you out is not bothering you anymore . Take care
Definitely good value for money, especially if you like the enhanced levels of in-flight service - I think you did well to get that price, despite having to put up with a few things for 'us lot' 😄 Thank you for giving us this very watchable and informative insight.
Just arrived in Orlando myself after a lovely 10 hour flight in Vigrin Atlantics Premium Economy. Looking forward to giving this a watch after a bit of kip. Cheers, Dale.
Another excellent video Dale. I saw that business class had a number of backward facing seats. I have never tried flying backwards before so it would be interesting to try one day.
Good video Dale. Interesting you flew to Gatwick oppose to Heathrow airport. I thought Gatwick is national airport but guess not unless I am wrong. Overall good video looking forward to more.
Good video Dale from this angle i can only see one chin ha ha, and I do know how you feel im a side sleeper too i think i preferred the outbound first class flight but you can't have it all any how thanks again and I would love to see the Washington to NYC acela journey cheers mate Mark D.
@@dalecharmantravels8057 I enjoyed it very much, Dale. I’ve never flown first class but I’d love to. Your videos are like travelling with a good friend and experiencing what it’s like. Thank you so much 😀👍
At @3:18 lovely pre-flight meal selections. At @8:42 haha.... "Not as bad as you thought you remembered." meaning the 1st class seating, or menu? Seating seems configured for single travelers. Is there side-by-side at all in 1st class? And I would not be a fan of having to travel in reverse / backwards. On trains with reversible seats... I also dislike ending up rear facing. At @19:32 I had just spotted flights (2 hops, 3 flights total) to cross the pond (USA to Europe) for $256 and staying in Europe for a month. Actually USA to London was the first flight. That would be booking through one of the airlines directly. At @20:05 Oh so there is 1st class seats for couples to travel together. Thanks for showing an example. 👍
Hi Dale have you seen the news designs for BA 1st Class on the 380 and 777? I know it's over a year away but hope you get to review these when they go live 😃
“I’ll suffer it, just for you lot”. 😂😂😂. I’ve used this product on many occasions and it’s perfectly fine but of course inferior to rival airlines with their more spacious 1-2-1 layout. B.A. are no longer the prestige airline they once were the only advantage they had for me was a very competitive price but now I can’t get that deal anymore I’ve switched carriers with no regrets.
I can't help but think that the aisle seat feels a bit exposed? I'm not sure I'd really relax or sleep with people passing by. Interesting video though, thanks for your efforts.
Re: the rules getting through security, it definitely seems like the USA have different rules to the rest of the world, so understandable why you can't keep up with it changing! Even at Heathrow now, half of the scanners are new style where they want liquids/laptops etc. kept in bags, and half are old style where they want them out!
Hang on, wait...if you got 1st class out to NY, plus hotel, plus business class back, for £3800 inclusive, that was a bargain! It's a good travel tip though: the inclusive packages with flights plus hotel and/or car can work out a lot better value than booking flights alone. The downside is that there is no flexibility on packages if you need to change a flight for any reason. Any changes will incur high fees.
Thanks
Thank you Simon. I appreciate the support
Thank you, Dale.
Something interesting to keep me entertained while I'm eating my lunch👍
Enjoy
@dalecharmantravels8057 I did but your comments nearly had me choking on my cheeseburger 🤣🤣 especially the bit about having "many chins"
I only speak the truth lol

Another excellent video Dale. I saw that business class had a number of backward facing seats. I have never tried flying backwards before so it would be interesting to try one day.
The lovely VC10 in RAF service had rear facing seats, fun flying backwards on many occasions.🤙
Good video Dale. Interesting you flew to Gatwick oppose to Heathrow airport. I thought Gatwick is national airport but guess not unless I am wrong. Overall good video looking forward to more.
Gatwick is an international airport.

I had one of my rather turbulent flights from NY to London back in 2004. I think in the winter months, it can be more choppy than usual.
I can't help but think that the aisle seat feels a bit exposed? I'm not sure I'd really relax or sleep with people passing by. Interesting video though, thanks for your efforts.
It is a little exposed. I picked it because I’m always needing the bathroom so I am not disturbing any one and they are not disturbing me
I miss Chip 😔😔
It’s a shame you can’t do those Piccadilly-line videos anymore, that’s not fair Dale? 😢😢😕👎
Just wondered if the current weather situation is causing you any problems i hope not but we would like to know if they are all the best Mark D.
No issues where I live or work. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods
Is there a way to know if you’ll get this plane?! I wouldn’t want it!

Is there fast track at JFK?
There was yes

Those BA B772s with the old biz suites are dreadful. I always pick a different airline if they are using those planes.
Crikey, BA need to speed up their refits. Honestly incredibly dated.
