@@AndeyKurniawan - You can change playback speed in the "Settings" icon at the bottom of the video window. I have actually had to slow down some super-fast talkers, so you can make it slower too.

Great tips - thank you. I'd also add "Creating a new post when replying to an existing post". We have a huge number of orphaned posts in our team, where people have replied "I agree" or "Thanks for that Bob" , but they've created a new post instead of using the reply link under the original post.
Also, posting to a channel instead of setting up a chat when conducting private conversations.
We have to use this because of Coronavirus

Great tips. Just adding one more for the last one, you can save the document as "Final". Then if in the future you do that you will open the document as read only by default.

This might only be the case in our EDU tenant, but when you schedule a Team meeting with a channel, the members do get an email with the meeting link in addition to the channel notification. The meeting is also added to their calendar as well.

Hi, re #4, I think that if you set up a meeting in Teams and add the channel as a resource, everybody in the channel gets invited as optional. Can anybody confirm/deny?

How do I encourage my team/participants to turn on their cameras more often?
Prasad Patil - If it is internal I think you should have a discussion with your team. We have in our Teams “House rules” that to build stronger sense of closeness we always have our cameras on. (You can see a copy of them on our Storyals blog.) It makes such a huge difference to be able to see each other. Externally it is harder. People might not feel comfortable (bad hair day, no make up, sitting in a messy kitchen). But it is getting better. I always have my camera on - no matter what, since it makes for much better meetings. It makes it easier with the blur background and replacements of backgrounds in Teams (covers up the messy kitchen!). My tip would be just keep it up and be persistent! Soon others will follow! 🤗
@@ulrikahedlund Hi Ulrika. Teams, now, has, Smart Backgrounds. Just replace your live background with a picture or even a movie! :-)
John From Ireland I know! Love the backgrounds! I have also tested Snap Camera for cool filters (make up, face paintings, cat on head 🐈 🤣) . Not so user friendly yet - but very cool!

how do i delete a meeting that i have recorded because one of the members was not supposed to hear the rest of the meeting she was not involved in after she exited?
Can we delete any thing that we have mistakenly uploaded in files?
Does the team know we use other taps when we use other taps?
When I use other tap I can't see my face on the screen, does my team still see me?

Excellent and useful video clip. Just one thing: I understand that selecting a channel when scheduling a meeting actually sends an invitation to the whole team, not just to the members of the channel we chose to hold the virtual meeting on. Additionally, these channels must be public as private ones don't even appear in the drop-down list. Could you please tell us if this is the case? I appreciate your help. Thank you.
I have put a double tape on my laptop's camera ..so that even by mistake if camera is turned on .. nobody can see me:)...

I had one question that I went thru all of the video and didn’t find the answer. You talked a lot about team members, but what about clients of attendees? I know that you can record the presentation with MS TEAMS, but what about if we don’t want our conversation to be recorded. There is nothing on that subject.
If you edit your video for a new version, it will be helpful to others to know about that delicate subject.

Embarrassing mistake #6 answering a call with what you think is audio (clicked phone icon) thinking its a single person and your whole team pops up on video and you are NOT camera ready and you do not see line through camera. How do I check default to make sure it doesnt happen again? Using tape over camera now because we're all still learning, and they keep randomly doing it.

Use turn of incoming video in the three dots (More Options) and you will find the option to do so

how to show more than 4 participants in the screen?
Today i was unable to unmute...and it was so stressfull. Meeting got cancelled as i was first time attending the microsoft meeting.
nearly every web camera does use an LED indicator to tell you the camera is on. Even in your video, the white LED next to your camera tells me you were actually using it.

ONE BIG MISTAKE TROUBLING ME IN MS EXCEL WHENEVER I TYPE ANY NUMBER IT REDUCES BY 2 NUMBERS e.g. IF I TYPE 5000 IT REDUCES BY 2 NUMBERS OR 2 DIGITS IT APPEARS AS 50. WHEN I TYPE 5000.00 IT ALSO REDUCES BY 2 DIGITS & SHOWN AS 5000, THIS MISTAKE IS ONLY OCCURS IN EXCEL SHEET ONLY.

Clue : Teams. Answer This is a video about Teams. Teams is an app. Excel is an app. Teams and Excel are different apps.
Cut the sticky strip off of a Post-it Note. Place that over the camera. You never have to worry about your camera embarrassing you ever again.

My camera turns red when it's on, but if I decide not to be on camera, I place a post-it over the camera lens just to be sure.
I think mistake occurs on any software but you should suggest to MS Team instead, So that new change could be done to new update. Whatever mistakes occurs I believe on MS on with its security issues and its services from beginning.

If you've got a list of email address can you paste them all in and hit enter?
Try to send the invitation to a group
Ideally this should be integrated with Outlook and send invitations, but that is not the idea of Teams; the idea is to start moving your team towards MS Teams. Hence, you manage your agenda there.
Another alternative would be to send it to a distribution list, but this is not yet supported by Microsoft Teams.
Teams is horrible. Too many options and very complicated.

No, they really cant lol. However they can activate ur mic and camera. Something like that happened to me where they activated my mic while i was arguing with my dad in my native language. I was very embarrassed and mad after that lol
