- Adam is in Boise, Idaho, to try one of the toughest challenges that he has ever seen: the Johnny B. Goode Challenge at Rockies Diner. He has to eat a burger smothered in chilli sauce, chilli-cheese fries and a 16oz milkshake!

@@southbeachtalent Yep, and if you pay attention when a random customer is wearing a T-shirt with the restaurant name on it, you can usually see another shirt underneath like they just slipped it on over for the camera.

I have no DOUBT Adam drew that crowd in the restaurant (with tv involved) and had them interested. That would've been perfect tv! I don't know why they feel the need to insult our intelligence

Unfortunately, due to all the economic and basic human effects covid had on our community, Rocky's is closed forever. It was a major blow losing this place. It was one of my daughter's favorite places to have me take her to dinner. Rocky is a good guy and he really loved his customers and was always happy to come out and chit chat with anyone whenever business would allow it. Unfortunately, toward the end, business allowed for it a lot more often and eventually he just had to close. We will definitely miss this place. It's been a Boise standard for a long time and nothing else will ever come close to them.
Sad to hear that … disappointedly it won’t be the last of livelihoods lost , due to coronavirus restrictions

As much as I loved watching him, I'm glad he left. This show was going to kill him.
The amount he was eating was incredibly alarming but from what I read he was in relatively good health. I read the main reasons he left were he felt extremely uncomfortable after eating ridiculous amounts of food and some of the spice challenges had no artistry and used just extract rather then making a genuinely good spicy dish. Also some challenges ruined food for him like the oyster one for example.
He's not eating like this all the time lol so I doubt it would of killed him

This is why the show was worth watching when Adam hosted, you always thought he had a fighting chance. New guy wouldn't have even finished burger in 30 minutes. When challenge is over 3 to 4 lbs you know he's losing, no suspense with him.

This is so true I love when Adam eats the food ! Like how does he fit that much in his belly lol bet he could eat like 2 pizzas and I’m not even joking !!!!! I think the worst part of this challenge is that the guitar he wins is only a Squire 😭. For the non-guitar players, a squire is like the cheapest electric guitar that only costs around $170 (a real guitar costs at least $600 and even these are nothing compared to the $2k+ ones, so you can only imagine what the squire sounds like in comparison).

This might be the tastiest looking challenge in the shows history (and there are many). I’m sad to hear this place is closed. I would’ve definitely gone there when I eventually go to Boise.
This show was so entertaining, never trying to make any kind of statement. A true American Classic. One of the last American Classic TV shows in my opinion.
I know they’ve tried to reboot the show, but the guy they hired to do it just doesn’t hold a candle to Adam. And he’s a nice guy! I like him. Just doesn’t have the eating ability or the traditional charisma. Still, he’s a great guy and I appreciate the effort he’s put forth. I think Matt Stonie should be the new guy! He would destroy the challenges, and he’s a very likable person. If this ever transpires, please revert back to this comment. I deserve compensation!
