$20 for all of that? A simple 1/2lb freaking cheeseburger in downtown costs that much. Even if I finished the challenge I’d still give $20 as a tip. That’s cheap.
the mac and cheese burger is really good. the cheese and burger patty pairs really well. the macaroni is cooked actually well, and the tomato was a really good refresher to all the cheese and pasta and meat. this place is actually good. i got through 3/4 of my mac and cheese burger. took it home and finished the rest that night for dinner. and it tastes good reheated unlike some other restaurants and their food. the mac and cheese still had that gooey consistency and the texture wasn’t off putting at all. lindys is amazing. and in 2017 when i went, there were more skinny people there than the heavier ones they show on tv and such. there were body builders there too, chowing down after heavyweight competitions. their appetites still couldn’t dominate these burgers. they’re massive and filling and delicious!!
I did this challenge my senior year of high school, I got it done in 19 minutes and 56 seconds. I didn't want to eat for 3 days afterwards. And I had a football game the next day, that was torture.
