bro, you're helping the underdog beginners who aspire to look like simon strength but don't have the money to buy the programs. KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING. RESPECT 🙏🔥
Simon has given incredible details on how to do the planche in a podcast. I really mean everything. Even the experts was listening and found it useful.
Suggestion. 1. Hold Elbow planche with straddle. 2. Push up to planche, come back to rest on elbows, still maintaining planche. If you can hold it on your elbows it will take a week or two to push up and return to elbows. A little strength and balance. Also, remember, if you dont have a handstand yet, you can go into the elbow planche from a headstand.
I would really like seeing like a video about your "workout week". Like all the routines you did to achieve the straddle and handstand press! Good tutorial with really good information!
Awesome video thank you. I’m an older guy trying to get to the planche and I am finding my short arms and being a taller person definitely has it’s draw backs. I don’t see too many tall people pulling off strong planche moves. It hasn’t stopped me aiming for it but I am very envious of the shorter people which is something I never thought I would say because I have always enjoyed being taller.
@@enhancedlemons484 I looked at my ideal weight for 5'11" fairly athletic build and it was 12.10stone and you are 11.14stone, I am a bit off my ideal weight but wow you are taller than me and nearly a whole stone lighter than my ideal weight so yeah, you must be very skinny. No judgment mate it's just I'm not a small person, I've got a lot of muscle on the bottom and top.
Great vid. I’m 38 and have been training for a month and can hold a tuck planche for 5-8 secs. Great hack with the socks sliding down the wall and the straddle tightening exercise
You just a new fan here bro!! I all ready subscribed it as you made it simple and very easy to understand. I'm still working on it with the straddle planche, h I will incorporate this into my training. Thank for the tutorial!!
Noice brother, i just got my tuck planche for 2seconds and i was looking for other ways how to increase my hold . This is the best tutorial so far i saw here in yt.
really helpful , i'm working towards the straddle planche rn, i really like the tip at 4:53 about using a greater ROM, will definitetly incorporate it in my trainings
You earned a sub. This is one of the best tutorials I've ever seen. Btw can you tell me if it's possible to learn straddle Planche push ups without parallets or any other equipment? My family wouldn't allow me :(
This is a very good RUclips channel ! Btw, could you do a planche press tutorial? I could do a 4s good form advance tuck planche but can’t even do a tuck planche press ;(
@@marcustheslink3516 Thx bro ! BTW, seeing u achieving these awesome skills really inspired me to continue my calisthenics journey ! U are one of my inspiration.
Okay after a month I can hold a 4 second straddle and do 1 push-up but still improving, watched fitness faq podcast where he brought daddy Simonster and he gave a lot of valuable tips regarding Planche. The most most important thing is that you train both static and dynamic using mechanical advantage Planche push-ups and holds.
There is an intermediate step that can make the transition easier for a beginner: the bent legs straddle planche (my term). That is a straddle planche, BUT with the legs bent upwards.
Much better than the other tutorials! In my straddle planche tutorial (you are stronger at the move than me by the way), I taught how to make leans harder with an a exercise called unbalances, which is sort of where you kick up into planche for a second. Do you know what I mean?
Waw that was cool ! I especially appreciate the wall planche negatives, I never thought about that ! BTW, I’m writting this comment while pausing at 6:51... It's kinda funny 🤣 ... and disturbing !!! 😅😃😀😦
I'm 26 years old little bit late but I am currently aiming for elite statics skills such as One arm handstand and planche. How old are you? You seemed achieved more skills than me, Impressive👍
Do less reps ;) By that I mean: don't go for speed and rep numbers. Bring the bar to your chest and control the eccentric movement for each rep. You'll do a lot less reps this way but you will build a lot more strength, and it's strength that will directly translate over to your dip transition.

2. Push up to planche, come back to rest on elbows, still maintaining planche.
