- We arrived in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia after the Philipines and right away started to explore the local food scene. We went to the local night market, and one of the largest Chinatowns in the world with some incredible food.
Then we went to Ipoh and Penang where we went to a fishing village and ate some traditional street food in a local market. This was one of my favorite places to visit.

There are SO MANY other food that you've not tried in Malaysia yet, like many had mentioned, Penang laksa, nasi lemak, roti canai and so on. Also, Malaysia is NEVER cold, even the cooler places such as Genting Highlands and Cameron Highlands are chilly at best. You should consider another trip down here but with a longer period of stay, I'd highly recommend 3-4 days a state.

Hi Mike, im glad you came to malaysia and sorry that you were sick! Must have caught that during the long flight! You could take some vitamin supplements before u board the flight and it will keep u healthy! I hope you enjoyed Malaysia
Just a future tip: if you want to buy winter clothing at Uniqlo, I recommend getting the heat tech under clothing. They work SUPER well, and that way you can still keep warm even with the thin(ner) winter jackets from Uniqlo.

The brown color cake is 年糕！we Malaysian Chinese normally eat this during Chinese new year! 😆 Some stall even use this to mix with yam or sweet potato n fried it as snacks! Yummm! 😋
I dunno if this has ever been answered before, but when you get to go into the airport lounges does any of your staff get to join you or do they have to suffer the normal waiting areas? BTW I totally love your videos. Just found them recently and am enjoying binge watching your travels. one of the best youtube shows i have found!

Hey Mikey! I hope its not too late to say WELCOME TO MALAYSIA! We are a multiracial country and pretty much proud of it! XD I was so excited to see that you came to our country!! yay!!! I like that your local friend took you to local places where the locals like to go.. Next time you could ask the local friend to guide you through all the culture we have here in Malaysia and not just the Chinese community..not that am against it though... I understand that you didn't have much time here either. Maybe next time ya? You'd need a longer period of time to get around here especially since the types of food in Peninsular Malaysia and Malaysian Borneo are really vast. A suggestion would be for you to spend a few days in Peninsular Malaysia and make your way to Malaysian Borneo and experience parts of the many cultures we have here THROUGH FOOD! Come back Mikey! hope you get well soon and bring your appetite! because you will need it!!

Hi mike.....i recommended you if you go to malaysia dont forget to eat chinese food at chinatown...The restaurant name is Kedai makan Sai Kee ( This restaurant is located in the hallway )...... fish ball soup & fish with tausi & many food is good & delicious & cheap.... you can try it ...see u mike n enjoy your trips...thanks!!

Hi Mikey! My husband and I love your channel. Anyway the way we dealt with the luggage overage problem was pay for it in advance when you book your tickets. Usually it gives you an option to add another 30 or 35 extra kg. I don’t remember how much it was but it’s way less than 10000 pesos. Next time visit Mindanao. It’s not scary! I hope you upload more airline videos. Take care!

I go back home to the Philippines every year since 2015 and I never payed the terminal fee. I think its included in which ever airline you ride in. Idk. I usually go to a counter and ask them if they can waive the fee for me and it works all the time. I just show them my passport (Philippine passport and my parents American passport) and sometimes my itinerary and it's free.

Omg! My family and I stayed at the same AirBnB in Ipoh last month! Yes, it really is awesome and the owner also got us soya milk from the famous Funny Mountain stall around the corner.

Also Connaught night market has a pretty high turnover rate for their food stalls lol. There will be new type of food stalls that appear every few weeks.
