My husband and I went to Japan for the first time in April for our honeymoon. The first thing we had was the peach coke at the airport. So many memories! We can wait to see Tokyo next year!

I flew that exact route over Memorial Day weekend! Such a difference flying into Haneda instead of Narita, especially since I stayed in Shinagawa. Looking forward to this series.

I'm a ramp agent for American Airlines in Nashville. I have yet to travel international but it's not far away. Definitely some great food here. You should come by and try a place called Rosepepper. Texmex style restaurant. It's my favorite local place. And a lot of places that made it on a couple Food Network shows.
P.S. your videos always make me hungry. Even if I'm not hungry.

Mike, you are so right about the pancakes. Can't share it and have to ingest at least 3 by yourself!!! I shared them and was wishing for more at the end!!
I had those pancakes when I was in Japan 3 months ago. People who had it know they aren't the same pancakes you typically get in the western countries. They are bigger, thicker and cakier. Plus they used more eggs instead of flower. And the whips and dips on tops are also made from scratch. Not from a jar of Smucker's. Costs a few dollars more there but the quality is much better.

#2 I'd say the country is clean, safe, convenient

The best ramen in Japan are the Shisen Ramen (四川ラーメン), and the best Shisen Ramen is at the Hongo-Tei (本郷亭) near Nagoya Station [35.17N, 136.87876E]

20 mins seem worth it for that pancake! Bc it looked like the chefs were making everything fresh from the whip cream to the pancake batter. It also takes time to fold the batter to make it fluffy like that :) gotta put this on your recipe channel Mike!
