Finally looked you up a month ago after hearing Allen say "check out those roots John Perry" so many times. I kept thinking, "who's this John Perry?". Well, I see why he works with you. Allen seems very authentic and you do as well. Just started using your products this year on my 5k lawn in Lexington, KY (KBG w/PR) and I've been blown away. The Air-8 and RGS alone has done wonders for my lawn that other pros haven't been able to. You have earned a loyal customer here and I'll tell all my friends family.
I switched from stores fertilizers to Greene County Products (Purchased them YardMastery) and in just one season, my soil is pushing abundant, dense, stronger blades. These products are loaded with nutrients that improve your turf, and help the grass and plants to absorb the sugars required to support the photosynthesis process. I am a believer and these product specially of 18-0-1 greene punch, MicroGreene 0-0-2 and Humic 12. Last year (Sept 2019) fungus chinch bugs, and grubs destroyed my lawn. This past spring (Jan 2020) I did a soil test, identified soil deficiencies, and I designed a lower Nitrogen, more Potassium rich lawn care program, and the results are amazing (not perfect but, improving). I am seeing stronger deeper roots, and less thatch. I went ahead and purchased a second bio stimulant combo along with a second double dark set on YardMastery for me and a relative yard. I am very impressed, there is no going back
Great video John. I appreciate the level of detail you go into. You mention that Green Punch needs to be distributed via a hose end sprayer; what other products should be delivered with water (hose end sprayer) vs. a hand held pump sprayer?
John.. can you apply this to a newly renovated fescue yard? 4 weeks or so after germination? 901 slows down (have had a TON of rain) Fescue is up pretty good... 3" -4" ish. I will apply @ 2 gallons of water per 1000. I have the 28-0-1. I wanna run it with RGS.
John - I just came across the N-ext Seeding/Overseeding package on your site and accompanying PDF step by step. Any chance you might do a quick video on this package and why it works for overseeding as opposed to traditional starter and organic granular fert?
Ortho, or others (maybe its out there?) needs to offer a bottle twice the size. As long as the existing feed hose is on the Ortho, it could likely be a jar swap only. One can dream....
Tim Joseph yes. We are looking into having a sprayer manufactured for our bottles. The size haze been the issue but I think there will be an option soon.

I just saw this product on GCI Turf, and looked on the back for details. It says the dilution rate is 20-1. How do I work that out in an Ortho hose end sprayer? How would you setup your hose end sprayer when using this product?
I purchased the bio-stim pack from Pete at GCI Turf. Now, how would I purchase this on top of the bio-stim pack? Will it be added to the pack or will it be a stand alone item as a pack of 2 128 ounces? Thanks for all you do.

john, any way I can run this with my gas powered backpack and walking boom? Im running 3 AI nozzles, and I have my walking speed dialed in so my sprayer is calibrated to put out 1gallon per 1k, or is that just not enough volume? I would prefer to avoid the hose end sprayer method because I am doing applications for customers using my walking boom set up, and don't want to have to drag out hoses at each stop and then coil and store them at each stop. Thanks in advance!!Update...just watched the video you did with matt martin, and you covered this there...spray it out and wash it in...got it
Hi John. What is the 3 in 1 (marketing genius) video you're referring to? I'm going out to hose-end spray my 18-0-1, I guess I just stand there watering (bought hose end sprayer) my 2000 sq ft until.....until what happens? Does the filling bottle empty to air? Does it empty of dark colored juice? Does it spontaneously combust in my hand? That's ok with me, as long as it doesn't hurt my old decrepit dirt.
Why in the video about 18-0-1 is the recommended rate for Zoysia way lower in the spring and summer than in the fall and winter? I have always been told not to put fertilizer on dormant grass, and if I am really low on N, can I put it down 18-0-1 more than once a month if I put it down at 16oz per 1000 sq ft? Later Winter - 16 ounces per 1,000 square feet Early Spring - 12 ounces per 1,000 square feet Late Spring - 6 to 9 ounces per 1,000 square feet Early Summer - 6 to 9 ounces per 1,000 square feet Late Summer - 6 to 9 ounces per 1,000 square feet Early Fall - 6 to 9 ounces per 1,000 square feet Late Fall - 12 ounces per 1,000 square feet Early Winter - 16 ounces per 1,000 square feet

@@adamcarter9038 it’s a fantastic fert to go out monthly at about a 12 ounce rate. Start when the turf is greening up and wrap it up once temps begin to cool.
@@Lawncology I want to spoon-feed with 18-0-1 and use a 16-0-8 granular fertilizer. What rate should I use for the 18-0-1? Should I put both down at the beginning of the month and then put down the 18-0-1 again in the middle of the month and keep doing it like that?
I bought this product and it plugs up my ortho sprayer. Must be the iron clogging the screen. My sprayer puts out 4 gallons a minute. It’s about 30 years old. Do the newer ones have a bigger screen and uptake? I diluted the product 50/50 in the sprayer.
What would you like to see as a minimum amount of water per 1000 with the 18-0-1. Considering testing out the permagreen calibrated at 2 qts per 1000. On my own turf of course 😀
With the permagreen example above, you halved the rate to 7.5 oz of product per 2 quarts of carrier for 1k of turf. If my assumptions are correct...I can get using my walking boom calibrated at 1 gallon per 1k of turf, and run the 15 oz of product per 1k with no issues it sounds like. Jimmy Edmonds, Jr you can do them the same day, some you can mix together in the same container, Greenepunch can be used at low rates weekly or full rate every 5-6 weeks

So would it be stupid if for example I wanted to do an app where I wanted to add .75lb of N total, do an app of Greene (50% of the 20oz, .15lb/1000) and the other .60lb use granular to get a little hybrid liquid/solid action going? And also am I correct in a quick rough calc that a 20oz/1000sqft dose of Greene will yield about 0.30lbs N?
