I started as a beginner and by watching your videos I feel like I'm moving into the Intermediate Class!!! Thanks for all the Help LCN!!! Throw Her Down HEAVY!!!
Tractor supply sells a similar cart but deeper for cheaper. I LOVE it. Also allows you to hook the handle onto the back of your mower to tow around. Thanks for your fantastic videos. Very informative and NOT boring at all. Thanks again!
Whats the fine? Florida regulates the use of fertilizer on turf and lawns during the “rainy season,” which extends from June 1 through September 30. During this time frame, it is unlawful to utilize any fertilizer that contains nitrogen and phosphorus. You can always come to NJ to do a test plot on my lawn.
Informative as usual, release the flamingos from the garage, one near the window looking out , The other one keeled over. Connor Ward proudly displays them as a sign of domination of the lawn😎
This video is fantastic! Really great job of explaining the calculations, and difference of the green punch from the other applications you've been doing. Thanks man, can't wait for part two!
this is really good information! However, when I first read the title, I thought you were talking about liquid nitrogen, and I was expecting to see video of you smashing a flower or something of that nature into fine particles after freezing it.
I fertilize and it chases the rain away. I spray the orchids with fungicide and fish emulsion and the rain rolls in. @The Lawn Care Nut - do you know if Ringer Lawn Restore is available in the Sarasota-Manatee area?
My thinking, is that being a liquid, it will absorb almost immediately into the plant and soil. Whereas, with a granular fertilizer they don't dissolve immediately, and could be washed out in large quantities should a heavy rainstorm occur.
No Nitrogen applications from June 1st - Sept 30th. If the commercial applicator cant apply it that goes for homeowners as well. Yes, Nitrogen would be a Marco element
My friend used some 32-0-8 and his spreader wasn’t spreading, it was dumping right at the wheels. He left some funny dark green tall grass stripes everywhere he walked.
Very well done. Didn't mean to give you crap last time. Love your videos. Have some bermudagrass out front that I will be switching to foliar only this fall once its more established!
Macro? MIcro? Pounds on ground? Micro green parts per thousand. I thought I was a real geeker until I tried to follow this as a newbie. Hmmm...Scotts 4 step, water early every day or two. Mulch cut if not too much height, bag if to much that makes thatch. Summmer mower on highest deck setting. resharpen blade if I knick something off the lawn. Lawn green. Done.
Great video! Do you have a video about frequency vibrations? I find I get dizzy or fuzzy/blurry vision when I use certain brands of lawnmowers? Goes away about 10/20 seconds after I let go of the mower.
sadly the products that you use are not available in the UK, Also your grass is much thicker and more decorative than the thinner type grass we have in the UK, I still watch but not sure on what products are similar to yours. any help would be welcomed.
Chris theres a company called pitchcare where you can get the products from, but they are for football pitches, golf courses etc so the products come in quantities that are too large and therefore cost too much for me. I get humic from amazon and a milo substitute from b&q. Everytime i google the biostimulant products i get products for plants and flowers so i'm just going to run a test on my back garden to see what happens.
Hi David thanks for the information, I know we have the Scott's products in the UK but not sure how they compare, I think the are also for football fields and high traffic areas. keep us posted as I'm using the evergreen products which are just expensive and only provide temporary results.
Got my bio stimulant pack from the lcn store came with some stickers that immediately got to work letting the neighbors know they will continue to be dominated!
I understand the math you explained, but I am feeling dumb. So is the 18-0-1 being mixed with water? 1/4 lb/1000 or for me with 18,000 that would be 4.5 lbs or 72 oz? Does the 72 oz get mixed with water and if so, how much water?
It got way to expensive to do my own weed control for my lawn. So i unfortunately had to hire a company. They spray weeds and fert. The grass isn't green enough. You think it'll still be safe to use MILO? I live in SWFL
Great tips! Thanks for all the videos. I know the dangers of putting down to much fertilizer. But if you don't actually kill the yard and not cause any disease, just a lot of mowing and water usage, is there any benefit to putting overdose the lawn with fert? I mean a lot, like 24lbs of nitrogen on the ground. Does all that actually stay in the yard? Or is washed away n gone?
what kind of stone is that in the landscaping? is it lava rocks? I want to do mine just like that beside the pool, but not sure what too buy. thanks man!
Milo doesn’t contain the Humic acid or sea kelp. Greene punch has Milo beat on that. I may switch over next season to Greene punch and see how it goes. Plus I won’t have to buy the RGS or Humic12 some it’s on the Greene punch. Save a few bucks with that.
George Popa , Very true. I’m sure you can find a humic/sea kelp for cheap. I think I’ll stick with Milo and the bio stimulant pack. Yard is holding up pretty well during this Nashville heat and low rain.
Hello Alen my name is Cyrus and I work for the city and my question is if I need to cover a large area and I have 12-0-0 liquid iron and I wanted to mix 300gals what would be my measurements ? Please help
Hey Allyn...great video! Wanna sell me one of those battery-powered sprayers? Figured you could use the room....LOL. Informative video as always. Keep up the awesome work! But really, I'll buy one from ya' if you're willing.
Can the 18-0-1 replace milorganite? Doing the math, the cost per app is very comparable to the cost of milorganite for the amount I need for my lawn. Much better cost per app than I would have thought actually.
In theory yes. It depends on how much time you have. The beauty of milorganite, as with any slow release fertilizer, is just that. Its slow release, it feeds for an extended period of time especially if its organic. If you were going to replace the milorganite with the 18-0-1 I would spray it weekly at 1/4 of the normal rate so you're still spoon feeding the nitrogen. That's the key with foliar fertilizers, low and often.
George Popa ah yes, I realized that later after he posted the follow up video answering that exact question. So I do not believe this would be worth it to me on a budget, but more for the guys looking to get that extra little boost to get their lawns to perfection.
George Popa my thoughts exactly. I'm hesitant to buy into these new fad products that have been pushed in only the last couple of months. I've seen proven results in minimalism and organic programs, so unless I have a specific problem I'm trying to fix, I'm just going to go the KISS method :) with dogs and kids running around my yard, I'd hate for unnecessary chemicals to cause problems.
if they tell you how many ounces to spray per 1,000 why do we need to do the math? I don't mind math I'm just not 100% sure why its needed? I just started trying out the liquid products so sorry if this is a newbie type question
Thanks for the shout out LCN. I couldn't afford the name brand Gorilla cart like you and the Toro Dealer, so I had to settle for the Tractor Supply model, Garden Works. It's really a great tool for us old guys who have to carry stuff around the yard. However, I will caution you: it's super sketchy when you try to drive it like a Radio Flyer.
milo stinks far to badly, not to mention my cold season grass is only greener because I water. have not noticed any gains for miloing every month now. i have been thinking about trying ringer for $20 bag off amazon because no home stores up here carry it.
Here's my dilemma. I'm mastering my front lawn before I move to the back. So here's the math. My front lawn is exactly 1,000sqft. The n-ext microgreene 006 in your warm turf book says 3oz/1,000 with 1gallon water. My hose sprays with the ortho attachment 1 gallon/30 seconds. The ortho will spray 3oz in 30seconds on dial #4. Do you... 1. fill the ortho container up with water to dilute it at all and be able to spray for longer 2. just change the dial to extract less product and just use more than 1gallon water or 3. run my ass off for 30seconds to coat the yard.
I started as a beginner and by watching your videos I feel like I'm moving into the Intermediate Class!!! Thanks for all the Help LCN!!! Throw Her Down HEAVY!!!
i threw down green punch, micro greene & greeneffect ( 3 in 1 cocktail ) and my lawns looking the best it’s looked all season !
Tractor supply sells a similar cart but deeper for cheaper. I LOVE it. Also allows you to hook the handle onto the back of your mower to tow around. Thanks for your fantastic videos. Very informative and NOT boring at all. Thanks again!

Wish I would’ve had “LCN Math 101” in high school.
Allyn did you get a new truck!? You replaced the premium Korean leather hybrid?
this is really good information! However, when I first read the title, I thought you were talking about liquid nitrogen, and I was expecting to see video of you smashing a flower or something of that nature into fine particles after freezing it.
Thanks for this! Discovered you a couple months ago and you've made lawn care my new hobby.
Awesome thank you !
Please always use your standard music playlist. I can’t hear any of these without thinking of LCN immediately
I usually bring in a new song or two every 6 weeks but these have stuck for a while which is fun for me too
But you always should bring back the Silent Partner "You're No Help", that's a really good one, and plus the song title is irony. ;-)
Thanks for breaking this down. Looking forward to spraying this.
LCN + Beer = Best way to spend a Sunday
Reminds me I've got some in the freezer I need to get out.
Lawn is looking great! Domination
I really thought that you were going to say that it takes 1.21 Gigawatts of electricity to release the nitrogen.
I fertilize and it chases the rain away. I spray the orchids with fungicide and fish emulsion and the rain rolls in. @The Lawn Care Nut - do you know if Ringer Lawn Restore is available in the Sarasota-Manatee area?
Yes is is. Call any garden center. They can get it.
If the green punch is a macro, how can you put it down at this time? Thought you had to wait until October
To clarify, it’s not that I’m worried about it, just curious. Maybe I missed something
My thinking, is that being a liquid, it will absorb almost immediately into the plant and soil. Whereas, with a granular fertilizer they don't dissolve immediately, and could be washed out in large quantities should a heavy rainstorm occur.

George Popa George doesn't understand Pinellas County fertilizer ban but thats ok
Chris King he does understand because he stated that ban in one of his videos a couple months ago.
My friend used some 32-0-8 and his spreader wasn’t spreading, it was dumping right at the wheels. He left some funny dark green tall grass stripes everywhere he walked.

Lawn looking awesome there Allyn!
Just ordered my bio stimulant pack!
@The Lawn Care Nut: Are you going to update your Warm Season guide with a program including Greene Punch?
yes that will be an over-the-winter project for sure!
Next time you take out the kayak you should throw on a go pro and give us some bonus fishing footage!
Thanks for another awesome video, Al! I would really like to watch how you do all of your recording.
Love my Gorilla cart - that's where I put my Dominator sticker finally. I've been holding on to the sticker forever waiting for the perfect spot.
Great video! Do you have a video about frequency vibrations? I find I get dizzy or fuzzy/blurry vision when I use certain brands of lawnmowers? Goes away about 10/20 seconds after I let go of the mower.

That gorilla cart is 🔥! Great for lawn work and carrying children. Sometimes at the same time
Is it safe to use the bio-stimulant pack after overseeding? Thanks in advance.
I have 21-0-0 AS that I am spraying and want to know how to calculate it. I want to put down .25lb per 1000sqft. It’s a 50lb bag.
what kind of stone is that in the landscaping? is it lava rocks? I want to do mine just like that beside the pool, but not sure what too buy. thanks man!

George Popa how do you make your own?
I like inexpensive. I have spent a fortune the last few years on my yard.
Nothing like LCN content on my he weekend! Is that a pickup I see in your driveway?
Good eye
Does liquid fertilizer need to absorb into the soil for the roots to take up or does it absorb into the blades?
It depends how it's formulated. The Greene Punch needs to get into the soil. Greene Effect is formulated for foliar absorption.
How many times year would u recommend to use greene punch in cool season grass (Chicago) ? Since it's complimentary. 1-2 times ?
Hello Alen my name is Cyrus and I work for the city and my question is if I need to cover a large area and I have 12-0-0 liquid iron and I wanted to mix 300gals what would be my measurements ? Please help
Hello Allyn,
I got my bio pack without my sticker,so what gives. Purchased last weekend.🙄
New truck?
Pottery as Art, lots of cool pottery.
Yeah I may have spent the rent there
Haha very easy to do!
Lawn is looking good BTW..
Can I use 18-0-1 in a pump sprayer
You could be mumbling the whole time I’d still love watching your vids!
Breakin' the law, breakin'the law 🤘🏼
ha ha!
Damn I love your video Allyn ... BAM 💥!!!
What instrumental is being played in the beginning of the video?
You gotta step up your beer game!
Lawn Care Nuts how toxic is the products your using. Please explain!
Hey Allyn...great video! Wanna sell me one of those battery-powered sprayers? Figured you could use the room....LOL. Informative video as always. Keep up the awesome work! But really, I'll buy one from ya' if you're willing.
Love your journal. You inspired me to start my own. Enjoy the mow!!!
awesome!
I am subscribed, but I never get notifications :( Any clues as to what gives?
greenpunch 16 oz dose 1000 sq to one gallon of water
I need some Columbia gear while in the lawn......
Good video testing

Spray and pray...I think I'll just stick with the Milo.

Option 4 get the right amount applied friend
Nitrogen release and time travel. 1.21 jigawatts.
Cool Alan 😎
Do you help your any one in your block LCN?
My neighbor bought himself a Toro. I spied another dude using Milo 3 houses down. So yes I sure do.
How do you know for sure did they tell you in person? Like the videos....
Great videos! So helpful. Learned a lot to make my lawn green. TROW HER DOWN!
Jill Reardon Love ur videos
So what's the purpose of the video ,just showing off what you have in the garage or everything has to do with maintenance lawn
Look like you’ve lost a little weight there, must be busy in the yard. Should market doing this can lead to a healthier life style
Im going to do 35oz per 1k because i want half a pound. Down to get me a last hoorah of growth right before i out my kawn to bed.
Guess I need to do some homework....cause the math equations are messing me up.
Hang in there and keep watching. You will get it !
Did you buy a truck?
I hate being the uncut man.
Mate, you guys in the US need to go metric....!
All the talking fast talking jumping around just make things confusing keep it simple
