What a nice day on the Lake, great finds! In May and in August I missed you, sigh...an occasional freighter going by the pure serenity that city has I love you Grand Marais! ❤you stole my heart.
I can't believe that lil guy possibly traveled from James Bay! The history is so cool. Incredible variety all over! Indeed a rock hounder paradise lol Quite the waves! 😊
It really was a amazing place to rock hunt. I never seen this many people here before. It is a popular place for rock hunters. So many rocks here :) Thanks much for watching 😊
Awesome finds! There are just so many cool rocks! I can see just scooping up a 5 gallon bucket full for landscaping rocks! There really isn't an ugly rock there! And so many people there, doing the same thing and still, so many beautiful rocks left there! It's like the everlasting gobstopper of rocks! Thanks Cherry!
I was in heaven here. So many beautiful rocks and yes so many people and it doesn't even put a dent in the amount of rocks at this beach ! It is a beach I will return to for sure :) Thank you much for watching. Have a great night😊
Cool stones. I would love to see high winds on that lake and see the big waves!!! I would think that on the eastern side of the lake way over my direction that the waves would be bigger! That's if the winds were coming from the west? They would have the hole lake to build up!
This place is a bit of a drive for me but always worth the ride. It is like paradise here and so many rocks to pick from. I bet the waves would be very large off of the North Atlantic Ocean. Probably really nice rocks that way :) I know there are nice rock in Nova Scotia. If I lived where yous do I would be heading to the ocean to see what kinds of rocks are there and to see the ocean would be awesome 😊
After returning from the sea beach in Bireuen, I found out that sea rocks are truly amazing, it's natural that Lake Michigan rocks are extraordinarily good 🎥💯👍🙏🌹❤❤❤❤
.That lake is very big, it seems like you are in the sea. Beautiful image of all those people looking for their favorite rocks. And as always you find very beautiful rocks. Blessings always on your way.
People love this beach for rock hunting in the summer ! It gets very cold in the winter up here. That is when all the rock hunters disappear. Thank you much for watching my friend. Have a great time on your next hunt😊
Grand Marais is one of our favorite stops. We also like Tw-Hearted River and Crisp Point. I always worry when I pan over the rocks that there may be an agate I'll see after-the-fact. Some of your finds are great though and would make amazing cabochons!
She really is a beautiful lake. Looks like a lot of peeps are enjoying it that day, too. Oh I like that one with the pink mixed into the gray at 4:00 Haha that one with the black straight throught he middle looks like a hamburger 4:35. Oh my gosh. That is a lot of people rock hounding. That's just wild. That one person is surely dedicated braving the waves to search in the water lol. You really got a lot of very cool finds. So many rocks. Feel like you could spend days on end there and never see the same rock twice.
It is like paradise to me. Such a beautiful beach, nice little peaceful town and of coarse rocks galore :) I thought hamburger also at 4:35. Was wishing it was a agate but don't think so, it is just a hamburger after all, lol 🤣 It is still raining here in Michigan. Non stop rain for days now ⛈ Thanks much for watching ! Happy Camping⛺😊
Gosh so many people rockhounding 😮, it sure is a great spot! You found some nice pieces. Really like the colour 4:03 of this one agate or not it pretty, thanks for sharing 👋 😁
4:03 is a little agate :) I found a lot of pretty rocks but not much for agates. I looked at all the people and said to myself, they got all the agates, lol Thanks much for watching😊
Cool finds Up North Adventures, I hope you stayed dry. That is a good example of a Lake Superior beach, more capris and shorts then bikinis and swim trunks.
Wow…there is a Grand Marais in Michigan and a Grand Marais in Minnesota, both on Lake Superior and it is a totally different scenery and both very beautiful.
I was up there 10-9 the wind was blasting anywhere from 30 to 50 mph! Should have brought a surf board! 😂 it was raining also, however I did manage to find a few agates, one nice little bander! Got cold and left after about 6 hours on the beach! It's always fun being a rockhound as you know! Keep on rockin!
Hello Gary :) Wow that is some crazy conditions for rock hunting. But I bet you were the only one out there 😃What a rock hound won't do for some rocks :) I have rock hunting in some of the worst conditions but when you get into rock hunting you kind of forget about the terrible weather if your finding good rocks :) Thanks much for watching 😊
@@upnorthadventureswithccc believe it or not I wasn't the only one there, there were people coming and going all day! It was amazing to see! I know now I'm not the only crazy rockhound up there on those fiercely windy days! It was so extreme, that stones were hitting me from being thrown out of the lake! 😂 I'm heading back up to a spot about 12 to 15 miles east of Grand Marais today, maybe I'll have better luck!
@@gary3270 Wow Gary, those are some serious rock hounds. Yesterday temps were fairly warm but so much rain. I hope it didn't rain on you when you were out there. I have been out there when the rocks hit my legs from the force of the waves. The lake can be quite mean at times. Hope your day out there was a good one😊
Some neat finds!! That's a lot of people hunting for rocks! Wow
I was shocked to see so many rock hunters ! Thanks for watching😊
So many beautiful finds thanks for beautiful sharing 😊

Good finds. Looks overwhelming to me. Definitely couldn't handle the crowd. It's very peaceful in the corn fields 😂. Thanks for bringing us along.

What a beautiful day.
The lake looks just like the ocean.
No worries about swimming with sharks in there.
So many beautiful stones, I love the Unakite
Yes no sharks here :) It really does look like the ocean when the waves are crashing like they were on this day. Thanks much for watching😊
@@upnorthadventureswithccc it's beautiful.
On my home rock hunting beach, I sometimes see seals, and maybe an Orca.
You have such a good eye for finding beautiful rocks.

I tried hard to find a agate. I did find one, maybe two. I had such a great time here. Just love the variety of rocks here. Thanks for watching😊
Amazing video!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you for watching😊
Hola amiga nuestra, en verdad esas piedras se ven preciosas. Buen entusiasmo. Saludos desde Argentina 😀😘🌹💙🌹💙👍👍
Thank you for watching😊
Look at ALL those pebbles!
It is amazing how many are here ! Thanks for watching😊
Such a beautiful smorgasbord of ROCKS!
Those sticks and logs that are like a teepee. Are Bigfoot structures!!! 🤣🤣
I remember seeing structures like this in the middle of the woods once. I thought about bigfoot and got a little spooked on that day 😆
My kids both found their first solid banded gem agate there...they were 5 and 6. Awesome video!
That is awesome. I love this beach and wish it lived closer so I could go here more often. Thanks much for watching😊
Outstanding video

So pretty. I find the same in the desert. Thanks.
Thank you for watching Ruth😊
I kept telling you to pick up the rock with the yellow webbing!! Then you finally did! 😂
Nancy :) I am glad I did !! Thanks for watching😊
It’s my favorite place to rockhound!
It is like paradise :) I can see why it is your favorite ! Thanks for watching😊
Wow…there is a Grand Marais in Michigan and a Grand Marais in Minnesota, both on Lake Superior and it is a totally different scenery and both very beautiful.
That's insane how many people are rock hounding at 8:26. Was that footage from Marquette at Presque Isle Park?
Hello Jim this was in Grand Marais, MI. This place is a rock hunters paradise. Some call it agate beach. Thanks for watching😊
That's crazy how many people were there.
It is a booming place when the weather is nice. And the town is really small. Thanks for watching😊
