Someone else probably already commented, but the Mackinac Bridge has Lake Michigan on the west and Lake Huron on the east, not Lake Superior.
Michigan is so underrated. We have a winter wonderland, the color's of fall, spring flower's and the sunshine of summer. An added bonus the UP... a little slice of heaven! The most beautiful views that will be etched in your heart and memory forever.
It's such a beautiful state with great nature and people! We've loved whenever we've visited!
Porcupine State Park, as usual, is overlooked. A visit to that corner is worth it.
Probably better anyway. Keep the crowds down at the beautiful “Porkies”
Left out Isle Royale, and Mackinac Island!
I realize he was covering the UP. Yet bypast the jewel of michigan heritage
The Porkies!
yess i go camping there every summer!
I grew up in Munising. A great place to visit is Grand Marais
Muldune pasties are very good. They lack the fold that the miners threw away, because their hands were muddy dirty. The folded over crust was perfect for miners. It also told you what was Inside by the way it was folded.
Other commentators noted the Porkies, and the Keweenaw. I retired to Ontonagon, a sleepy little town that is a short drive to either. Also, lake Gogebic!
I’m from Michigan go to tahquamenon falls you do not need a rec pass for the falls.
Upper peninsula has some of the best out houses
my parents were caretakers for 3yrs at pt.Iroquois lighthouse just w.of brimley and bought 28ac about 14mi w.of brimley, good vid!
How cool! Such a pretty part of the country! So cool that you have the connection to the area up there! Thanks for sharing! :)
Canyon falls and the mine tours in Kewanaw
WOW! Simple stunning video! This is amazing place, waterfalls are beautifull. I really appreciate what you do
the scenery is just superb!
Such a beautiful area! Thanks for sharing.
Good video, thanks for featuring the awesome natural beauty of Michigan’s UP. I did catch one error in your narrative. You said while crossing the Mackinac Bridge that you had views of both Lake Michigan and Lake Superior. The other side is Lake Huron, not Superior.
Lake Superior is north of the Soo.
Gorgeous scenery and beaches there!! 😊
Yes! Such a pretty part of the U.S!
Such a random travel video lol. But luckily for me, one that I will use since the Michigan high point is in the UP and this will come in handy when I eventually bag it. All of these places look amazing
Nice video, definitely enjoyed the scenery again. Travel to the UP regularly and love it there. Oddly enough I've got a daughter living in the UP and one in Pittsburgh. Believe me after comparing the open roads in the UP, you'll need therapy from your sponsors after driving in Pittsburgh. Hopefully that went over well.
great place
Nailed it!
Thanks!
Great highlights! Definitely getting a Pasty when I go in a few weeks ✌
We hope you have a great trip! And they're delicious!!!
I recommend you get them with gravy, not ketchup.
Ive been to many of these attractions, they are very beautiful, if you go to the one with the wooden barge you're infor a treat beautiful blue watter and i think there are a bunch of fish that swim around and you can seem them very well, theres an open area on the barge that lets you look down into the blue water, it also looks like a hot spring is coming up from the rocks.
Pretty sure Kitchitikipi was already mentioned.
Wow excellent, very nice
That's huge pasty awesome
Very nice ❤❤❤
I use to live on Indian Lake, beautiful land.
I vote ketchup... :)
I'm a Michigander... Come here you won't believe what you will see!!!!! It's just beautiful !!!!!!! 🌲🌲🌲....
It is such a pretty state! You have a wonderful place to call home! :)
Love it beauties 😺🥳📯🧡
Thanks for sharing! We're in the middle of planning our trip to the UP. What time of year were you there?
You’re going to LOVE it! It’s such a beautiful part of the U.S. We visited mid-September (we were probably one week early to catch the leaves in their colorful phase). I’ve also visited in the winter and had a wonderful time exploring the winter wonderland.
What time of the year are you thinking of going?
-Michael
We are going mid-late September! We are just doing a short trip for now, but will probably be back in the future. Thank you!
@@cheezballz92 Thats such a beautiful time to visit! We're keeping our fingers crossed you'll get to see the leaves in their perfect colors! Hope its a great trip! :)
The highest and lowest point are within eyesight of each other
Thunder bowl - 1 SXS enters.. but will it leave?!?
Only time will tell.... or has already told I guess....
Wow😅😅😅❤❤❤
This really should be Wisconsin.
Of course, I realize you mean geographically, but considering Wisconsin wasn't a state when Michigan received the territory, that makes only a tiny bit of sense.
