Do you have a GM vehicle? Is the tire pressure system telling you a tire is low? Is it telling you the wrong tire? Then you have mismatched tire pressure sensors! Whenever a tire gets rotated, your GM vehicle needs to relearn the position of each of the sensors, or it will report the incorrect location of a low tire! Watch this video to learn how to do it yourself! Andy explains how the system works, shows you how to do it with a relearn tool, and shows you a tool-less method that works on some GM vehicles! Check it out!

Great vid. Your point of holding the start button w/o the brake solved my no tool re-learn problem.
Thanks for the info! Worked perfectly on my 2011 GMC Acadia. I had to let air out for about 15 seconds for it to register, wait about 20 seconds for each tire and it honks at each location. 👍
Thank you so much for this! They don't tell you any of this in the manual.
Nice job, only thing I would add is that when reducing tire air pressure method is utilized, you have two minutes between each tire or the process must be restarted. You may also add air pressure to each tire but obviously reducing pressure is safer.
+C K Thanks for the tip!
I will keep giving you my money for parts these vids are super helpful
i knew i was not going nuts!!! thanks for the great information, my 2018 Encore Essence tells me my right front tire is low but it checks correct psi when I check it, not time to do this relearn thing and get rid of the annoying low tire pressure light.
All of your videos are very informative. Easy to understand
+Dave Woodmancy Thanks for the feedback!
I have no keybob and no relearn option on DIC. Is there another way to reset it?
Great 👍!
Nice teacher !!! Well explained .
I am a DIY . I really 💘 your channel .
Only, I don't know how to use OBD scanner and each sensor code .
I bought tpms sensor reset tool and learned everything about tire sensor,I had 3 bad batteries on same tire in one year back tire 80lbs front 55lbs
Great advice, thank you so much!!
What’s the point of this if you don’t have a relearn tool? And where is the link to buy one?
just let air out and wait for the beep, the refill tires! thank me later!
Intriguing. Do any other manufacturers have methods like these that can be performed without the special tool?
I have a 2005 GMC Yukon and it happens to have one but it doesn’t have a fuel filter
That is accessible by anybody but a certified mechanic or somebody who has a lot of time on their hands.
Outstanding video. Exactly the help I needed. Thanks!
Mine goes off even after just putting air in. 2006 grand Cherokee, any suggestions? Took it to big O and they said it’s fine, but it goes off every day
Thank you!!!!
Cost and name of tool??

I'm confused.. yes I'm sorry already I am. So I did everything up to pressing the 2 lock buttons on key fob, my 2008 Chevy Equinox said Tire Pressure Relearn.. but then what after that? Are my tires back recalibrated or whatever now??? 🤦♀️ Am I supposed to do all that other stuff, hook up to each tire yada, yada??? 🤷♀️
Did he honestly say the horn beeping is to warn others that you are programming you tires?
will the method without the tool work on a 2008 Silverado that had the stock steel wheels swapped out for aluminum Z71 wheels?
When he tried to re learn the front left wheel without the tool the vehicle didn't re learn so then he went to another car..? What was the problem with it ?
Yes it works on my Buick! Thanks
Thanks for this video, very interesting
What do you do when one of the sensors doesn't work? I can't finish the relearn
Thanks Andy, awsome video. Btw what's the tool number or which tool did you use?
Great information..

Yeah can't find any of that for my Chevy Malibu 2024
Will the method you used on the Buick LaCrosse, work on a 2007 Chevy Equinox LT?
+Joseph Rodriguez It may be a different procedure. Thanks for checking us out!
What if you have the base model? Is that still an option. 2014 GMC Sierra SLE Texas edition
Show me how to do it in a Chevrolet Malibu LT 2013
+M Freytes We don't have a how-to video for your vehicle right now, but the basic steps in this video should be enough to do this task. Buy this part for your vehicle on 1AAuto.com: 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
Are there any reliable TPS for GM vehicles? I've replaced 6 sensors and 2 of those failed after 2 years. I my opinion, the worst "convince" created.
Any Schrader sensor with 315 MHZ should work. Autel sensors work as well but they need Tobe programmed
In my 2009 Acadia not showing the front tires Pressure , and showing my that i have to check the system of tires monitoring.
Can you advise what to do ?
I purchased new rear tires and weeks later I now have a tpms issue. I purchased the tool but it only reads the front two tires and when I get to the rear it does nothing. Maybe the tires are connected to a different vehicle or just the rear passenger as I never progressed past that one. Am I missing something? How does one reset tires if they are connected to an alternate vehicle?
Thanks for your help
I had the same problem, pressure monitor said it was the front driver's side tire, but it turned out it was my rear driver's side tire that was low.
Does this work for 2018 Chevy trax?
What if you don't have a key fob
I have tried this 2010 Escalade new tpms oem sensors new tires, I have tried tire learning active manually, and with tool when I turn off the car the info deletes and it doesn’t register let me know
what if you only need to learn one tire do you have to contenue with all tires
Yes
The tire doesn't know anything, the RIM has a valve srem
If you take a left hand turn the right rear tire Vegas flat pranksters wants to come round what's the problem I just had a completely rebuilt as possible right now
I can not relearn it because it goes very low without hearing any beep.
Sometimes sensors are dumb. Just buy the tool he was using its $10 on Amazon
why does the car have to actually honk?!?!
You very confused everyone !!
