By the time I’m answering u probably already know why they played 2/3 from the theme, but if u don’t, it was because the organization was introducing the Max Steiner award, which Elfmann has earned that night, then they chose to play the theme more as a intro to open the ceremony then a real Hollywood in Vienna presentation. //Sorry for my Bad English, it’s a bit rusty.
