Somebody invent a new effect category so we can keep this series going longer
what should I do after reverb, stacking overdrives, and lofi guitar, which are gonna be the next 3 topics
@@CyberattackWorld Something in the Digitech whammy world would be great. Excellent work.
@@willardthewhispricochet!
Seconded.
@@CyberattackWorld great, looking forward to those.
How about wahwahs and chorus?
Or on the more noisy side, ringmods and PLL type effects?
Been playing for 15 years, and that fuzz/chorus/slap DI might be the coolest thing I've ever heard
A boss PS-7 should do the trick
Hello, I like this tone too, but can't reach it, what is your pedals set ?
There may be a consideration to be made between a detune and a chorus, which adds movement to detune . Putch shifters usually detune without movement, but most chorus pedals have at least SOME movement even at lowest.
It's amazing that you're as good playing left-handed than right-handed.
i suffered immensely for this
@@CyberattackWorldhow did being good left handed and right handed help your play style?
Getting the second hoodie with the reverse logo is another level of commitment too.
That glitchy lead into the QoTSA riff was insane. Really cool stuff.
thanks, that riff is so cool
Waking up to a new CyberAttack video felt like waking up early for Saturday Morning Cartoons in the 80's.
"previously on X-Men"
Your pajamas were wet?
You sounding pretty sussy bruh.
This channel has all three food groups - it’s entertaining, I always hear new ways to use my 67 pedals and the riffage makes me smile
Seconded.
You only have 67 pedals🤣?
You Think I Ain't Worth A Dollar, But I Feel Like A Millionaire was such a fucking sick example to use bro, QotSA and Kasabian's tone is undeniably sick
that band rules
I have literally never seen this guy's videos before and I loved every second of this. Makes me wanna go out and buy way too many pedals.
That Foo Fighters- Weenie Beenie intro made me so darn happy! A great interpretation of such an underrated song ❤❤❤
What a wonderful bunch of riffs in this video
I look at this guy and I would never think he's going to pull out weird monster video game hilarity... Yet there he goes, doing exactly that. Seamless.
Oh man that face in fuzz factory example, I felt that. This is hands down one of the best videos about fuzzes, great tips
The biggest hustler is back making each and every fuzz sound like a metal zone. Well done.
I love the Buzzcocks cover! Super subtle, super dope 🤙❤️
glad you caught that, I love that band
Stylistically diff enough that it took me several minutes to realize what it was. A song I've heard hundreds of times and I'm "WTF is that?! I know it" lol
@@CyberattackWorld i didn't see it coming, but was cooool !!!
riiiiight?
Had my Fuzz Factory for nearly 20 years and I still find new sounds in it. One of my all time favourites pedals.
My favourite way to use it is as a lead boost either hitting a dirty amp or another pedal, because you can make it sound like pseudo octave up fuzz. But it's not really octave up, it just sounds sorta' like a filthy version of it.
Nice song choices too!
The synth section guitar part was on point!!!
that one is my fave
While I don’t have all of the pedals here, you just inspired me to have fun messing around and experiment more with what I have and just see what I come up with. Thanks
This is an excellent series my friend.
Nice I’m Broken cover too
thanks dude
Today, 5 minutes ago to be exact, I died and went to heaven.
The gods have given the guitarwebsh, the fuzziah. Thank you for content that the world ACTUALLY needs and presenting it better than ANY axisting pedal channel.
DEEP FRIED GIMME SOME MOOOORE
Thanks for some more incredible tips dude
metal heavy, soft at the core
the synth-y sounds you get out of these pedals are soooo awesome, i've gotta try that di muff trick
So glad you pointed out the octave/pitch shifter in front of a fuzz unit thing. That's one of my favourite combos and you're the first RUclipsr I've seen even mention it! Fun fact: Ross Childress from Collective Soul made exemplary use of this combo.
those were happier times for Ross Childress
thanks for the comment also
I would say there are 4 kind of fuzz circuits. Fuzz face, tone bender, big muff and octave fuzz. The germanium silicon has less to do with the differences. For instance the a silicon fuzz face and a germanium fuzz face will sound more similar than a fuzz face vs big muff for example. It's more about the circuits than the transistors.
this is smart and good, thanks
So glad I found this channel. Might be the most innovative in the guitar scene.
Dude holy shit that ~900 with the delay was amaaaaaazing. And I own one! And I’m gonna do the thing tonight! So glad I found this channel. My new favorite spot on RUclips.
This guy really knows his way around guitar pedals, those last two were next level!
One of the best inspiration and pedal channel. Thanks for your hard work brother ❤️
Seconded.
This series is super sick so glad i found this channel every time u demo them i want it to keep going and going😮💨🔥
Amazing pro-tips-vid as usual !!
Fuzz rips my face and I can't get enough. Great video
Wow. This was the one of the most informative, creatively produced, and entertaining videos I’ve seen in a long time. As a child of the 80s/90s and a guitar player/enthusiast, this video felt like it was tailor made for someone like me. Thanks for the awesome video and I will be checking out all your stuff.
Loved that bit of weenie beenie by ff!
another absolutely awesome video man, i especially loved the last few examples. thank u so much!!
Wow, this series is so awesome! I have especially loved the fuzz as synth part, it's brilliant! Cheers and thanks for the videos!
Loved this. The last track was so good.
I watched a handful of your effects videos tonight for first time. You are a genius.
The visuals are really fun.
#5 sounds cool.
I'm going to check out the rest of your videos now.
Just wanted to drop by and say this: your channel is absolutely killer, dude. I remember stumbling onto your Ring Mod video and, even though I’ve used a DOD Gonkulator as my “secret sauce” for years, that video opened my eyes to so many options. And I wanna sincerely thank you for that. I’ve loved every one of your vids since then. Keep up the awesome content, brother!
love the visual style
Thanks glad you caught that
Damn, all of these sound awesome!
The "Ever fallen in Love" Buzzcocks cover at the end with the delay and fuzz sounded amazing - and you are right, it sounds like the fuzz "eats" the trailing delays haha, and sounds so good!
Thanks for sharing, I love your music and love your channel!
I subscribed as soon as I saw the first stop motion, really cool shit man
This video is specially great! Well done man, you found the niche spot of guitar content on YT!
Best part of all videos.. he played Strat and make it sound heavy with all metal riffs..
Delay into fuzz is a REAL pro-creative tip. Also love the sega sounds, i have run fuzz straight into a console before and hooo baby its sandpaper glory! Love the advocation for going against convention. Also, I always run my octave after fuzz and gain, but now you have convinced me to try it wayyyy earlier in the chain
Awesome video, love the synth sound you got out of the fuzz! and appreciate the Jet Jaguar cameo too
thanks for the comment, jet jaguar will deliver us all
SHEESH that tone for the QotSA was so spot on
I love your covers
Bro i just found ur videos and i love em so far, this is what ive been looking for. Keep up the good work
Also, someone’s sponsored by Benson it seems..lol
Great video sir! Love the sounds and creativity.
truly amazing stuff!
holy cow that sega synth sound is beeeauuutttiiffuulll
I love this series
This man’s videos are masterful oml
The OG Foo Fighters sounds so good. I had to go back and listen to that song.
that song is really good
I really enjoyed that. What a great video!
There are so much inspiration here. Thank you 😊
Excellent once again!
Tip #4 kinda blew my mind... Thanks for all of the helpful videos!
Dude! Amazing work! thanks for sharing
I’ve always struggled to get the most out of fuzz, but this video has made me wanna get experimenting again!
I love the way you work with fuzz pedals
I love your style, man!
The ~900 is a mainstay on my board. It inspires me in ways other gear fails to do. Wonderful piece of kit.
Just found your channel from this video man. Super interesting video. I love seeing effect chain ideas. Great editing too!
this was terrific really wonderful video thankyou!
love your editing dude
Invaluable info, thanks so much.
magic video!!
Supremely bad ass take on all things fuzz! 🤘
Loved this, nice work. The Best Westrn, the monster at the pool, example #4 , and #5. The bass was heavy too.
What a great video editing style!
Nice sounds! I have a keeley fuzz bender which has a bias to blend the germanium and silicon inside it. I lean towards the germanium side, but still get that spluttery silicon sound when I want.
yeeeeesh, that Stonk Box Foo cover made wanna buy a Stonk almost as much as Bulls On Parade made me want to buy a wah when I was 12.
#4 was absolutely incredible
You earned a new subscriber just from tip #2. Amazing.
I loved those Genesis sounds!
Loooove these pro tips how to use your effects vids bro 👏
Big fan from Hamburg, Germany here, w/kbd and a little guitar as well!
I immensely enjoy your tutorial series, mate. So entertaining, musical, soulful, informative, helpful, sometimes disturbing, often out of the box, and always inspiring.
Most importantly, seeing your grin when you stumble over some kind of tongue twister makes my day, guaranteed. Thank you!
And thanks for asking about possible next topics (in the comments).
Here's my 2 cents (or rather, 5 cents):
- FILTER
- VIBRATO (pitch modulation)
- STEREO
Dual Pedal series:
- DELAY w/X (Delay with sth else like Reverb, Modulation, Delay Stacking, etc.)
- FX ORDER (e.g. Overdrive->Reverb vs. Reverb->Overdrive)
thanks for these suggestions
Coolest channel PERIOD.
Hearing qotsa out of nowhere gave me chills what a fuckin opener that song is
that song is unreal, and as an album opener it's even more brutal
Brittany Howard’s new album has some cool use of the more glitchy fuzz effects in the songs “What Now” and “Power to Undo”
thanks for the rec
i love your channel man
Those are some sick sounds
this vid is a personal fave
I just discovered your channel and it is very inspiring! 🙌🏻
Great video. Bonus points for the CKY riffs!
Id love to see a series of your favorite pedals to match together
i plan to do this exact thing, probably tied to the combinations i used on my next album, closer to when it comes out
Awesome video, I never thought about running fuzz directly into my interface. I use an IR-200 so I'll just turn off the amp and cab and mess around there. Thanks for the tips, great sounds.
This episode is so dope
I have never been a fan of the whole 8bit thing, for games or art or music or anything. THAT SAID this video was sick. First time viewer and I’m subscribed. Thanks man!
That Sega Genesis sound with the Big Muff was amazing! I have that same black russian version so I'm going to try this when I get the chance.
great video and channel. Good content and style
best series
Thank you for your channel, a fresh breeze of air in the guitartubeverse. Subbed.
As always this is so inspiring. I have the ~900, and I never even thought about how it's impromptu gate via bias would play with a delay running into it. I'm tempted to try it with reverb too now. Wonder if it will make reverb decay sound like a deteriorating radio signal. Every video of yours just makes me want to pick up and play, explore, tinker, try anything. I have discovered a lot of cool sounds in my rig thanks to this channel.
proper goood stuff dude!
This slays! 🔥
Damn dude. Hell yeah. Subscribed.
brilliant video dude,I'm a huge lover of fuzz pedals, especially big muff style I have the Muffaletta by JHS, Loomer workstation, EHX Big muff op-Amp and Berinhger Superfuzz SF300
That Weenie Beenie jam left me in tears
You played it so well 😂
Man I just love the whole godzilla/videogames/toys vibe you put in your videos. Aside from the cool creative advice of course. 👍
Thanks for the comment. I owe a lot to this website: www.spriters-resource.com/ds_dsi/godzillaunleasheddoublesmash/sheet/115477/
Damn I really love your vids man
