For the strawberries, how I got them to work in my apartment balcony, I utilize the top railing of the balcony. I went to the dollar store, got seven food safe soft plastic tumblers in nice print, the kind you'd use for a summer pool party slightly bigger than a regular drinking glass, put holes on the bottom for drainage and on the side to affix them to the railing using garden wire. Once put in place, I filled them with earth and added the strawberry plants. This way they arent on the floor shaded by bigger plants, the strawberry plants get full sun and no damage to the balcony. Pliers cut the wire and gets it off the railing. I also have two tumblers with one head of lettuce in each. Some fruits and vegetables dont have deep roots and really dont need a huge container to grow.

Great video, you grow much on your balcony, I grow on mine as well, but its not as big :)
I took sideshoots from my tomatoplants to continue the growingseason indoors during the winter. Doing so the family could continue harvest tomatoes to december, not as much as during the summer though, we also had to use extra light.

You can start strawberries inside and try to keep them in a warm/sunny location. And then maybe for like 1-2 months in the peak of summer you can put them on the balcony. I might try that next year!
