Being and East Coast boy, how in the world would I train for this race? I've done the Mount Washington Road Race a bunch of times but that tops out at 6,288ft. That is probably the elevation at the start of this race.
I love these races! The atmosphere is unlike any other race out there!

I remember hiking pikes peak and I was at mile 7 and someone comes jogging past me like he had just started running a few minutes before
