14 inch pot. Good mix soil and compost; prune in April, wait for bloom; bone meal, phosphate, mustard cake powder, root stimulator, water well, soft pruning after 3 -4 months: buy thick stem plants . Keep soil moist in summer. Support if getting tall

OMG what wonderful results and so quickly
5 weeks ago I bought a very small and young bourgonvilia plant in bloom. Since then it has lost practically all blooms with no new buds appearing yet. It is a standard shape and doesn't need a larger pot yet. I gave it a very slight prune after blooms dropped
Should I fertilize now or change soil yet or just leave it to acclimatise further. I have it inside in a bright and sunny room as its been very windy where I am in the UK

    • @GardeningUpbeat

@Jennyfer Syiem, Please leave them outside..if you keep them in shade, they would get leggy. No need to worry because of continuous rainfall if you have used well drained potting soil mix. In fact, it has been raining in my place from last 15 days and all of my plants are on terrace. Bougainvilleas are very hardy n can tolerate extreme weather. Thank you!

Glad you liked it and thank you So much for your words! AS it's already 2 months and you have planted them upside down, there is no hope actually..To avoid this mistake, always cut in 45% on bottom and horizontal cut on top. This is I usually do. Or else, at the time of planting sometimes it's really confusing like which way is up and which way is down. For your question about Plastic pot, I have responded in your other comment. As they died in your case, I think it's because they are growing in other environment than me. For example, mine get whole day of Sunlight and soil is very well drained. So, in Summer, need to water daily. Temp is also quite high in my place. Watering depends on many factors like - 1. Size of the plant 2. Size of the pot 3. Sunlight Exposure 4. Growing habits of plants and some more. I would try to upload a video with many more details so that I can clear all of your doubts.
