@Islam Catholicism teaches quite clearly that Jesus is the son of God. And that you must go through him to reach God.
Therefore, when he states in the video "We believe in Jesus", its untrue. You cannot worship the God of Abraham (as yourselves and the Jews do) and NOT believe that Jesus was the son of God who founded the Catholic Church. Who says "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life." Who teaches "Love one another as I have loved you"
So clearly Christianity and Islam and Jews worship different gods, one could claim its the same God, but it cannot be so. For the holy Trinity has existed always, since the beginning. Therefore, Christ existed.
Furthermore, while Muhammed was alive, he did terrible things, things that go against God himself, therefore he can not be named a prophet, even if there were to be prophets after Christ

    • @uselesschit1455
      @uselesschit1455 Год назад +6

I'm not a Muslim, but you got it all wrong about them. Muslims DO believe in Jesus, they don't believe he was the "son" or "embodiment" of God on earth. But they believe he was born out of a miracle and that he was a prophet, that his faith is true and he is going to come back (If I got any part of my statement so far wrong, know that I'm born in a Muslim country, I'm telling you what "Muslims" know about your religion, which might not be necessarily true. ).
He doesn't need evidence, he already believes you to be right and true. He just believes he is MORE right and true. So unless you can provide evidence of Muhammad nor being a prophet, it probably won't change anything.

      Really..!!!!
….and that’s all you have..? Let me educate you on religion as it seems you follow morons on Facebook and repeat without comprehension or knowledge…
Let’s start from the last.. So, the sword, King “Fredrickson” Charlemagne in the 8th Century murdered pagans, Muslims, Jews and any non-Christian’s that would not convert or pay a tax for them to continue to practice their beliefs, it consumed 30M lives in his reign of terror.
The Moroccans stabilised the Mediterranean countries, civilised them and brought all religions to a community who lived for 500 years in peace, the Muslims looked after the Jews and the Christian’s until 1492 when the uprising of Christian’s forced them to leave and then came the time of the inquisitions and witch hunts, murdering millions again under the name of the church.
Oh, the same happened when the Spanish conquistadors murdered, raped and pillage from the Indians of the America’s (not the non-indigenous ones) stole their gold for the Spanish monarchy in the name of the church once more.
Vikings/Norse men murdered, raped, enslaved and pillaged across Northern Europe in the name of their Gods…
North Africa wasn’t conquered by murder or pillaging it was the North Africans ( Libyans, Egyptians, Sudanese who went to the Arabian peninsula and seeked out the Islamic faith which was brought back to them, which then I turn went into Europe via Turkey, which evolved into the Islamic Ottoman Empire which once again brought peace across Eastern Europe and western Russia.
Indus continent has been Islamic (as well as Hindhu) for over 1200 years not by conquest once again, because you don’t know it’s actual term we’ll just use your Indian sub-continent term, where do you think Buddha came from..?? The region of Pakistan, which was part of the Indus area.
As I said earlier, the literal translation in Arabic Aramaic for man whom follows one God is the word Muslim, Allah / God, the term Allah was used by Christian’s and Jews across Europe until the time of Charlemagne which was translated by King James, the New Testament written in Greek and translated into English as well, then the word God was used.
Islam isn’t new, it’s the oldest form of man serving one God, it’s from the beginning of all religions that stem from the abrahamic faiths predating Judaism as Abraham was an Islamic in the terms of One God only worship.
If you cannot understand the terminology then maybe you’re lacking in the cerebral area, and I did not state “Declaring ALL Jewish Prophets and kings lived long before Islam, ‘Muslims’?, which in TRUTH is factual anyway…
The Christian’s have been pushing their catholicity across Southern India, Indonesia, china, Vietnam, Japan, Malaysia, whole of Africa, including Somalia and Kenya, South America and Central America for 300 years… brutal punishment if you didn’t convert from your own religion.
Read some more Facebook and watch bigoted YT videos to understand more or a religion you’re not..

Just thought it would be interesting to point out. And that is that you just took something that was probably going on somewhere inside of you and projected it onto that person because of the lack of input that we're receiving from the guy wich generally makes us come up with crazy stories about him. This can be seen whenever we see something vague or just don't have sufficient information about something and because or brain loves to come up with something even if there's no possible way to tell it often time comes up with something of our own. Now the muslim did the exact same thing only that what was subject of his try of coming up with a simple explanation in the face of something inherently vague was not a person but in fact his scripture wich then can be utilized and instrumentalised in a direction favorably of his belief system. In that case the "indisputable" prophetic nature of his holy scripture. And yes I got that it was a joke it was just an interesting connection.

David translated it the correct way every single time. And Hijab didn't realise - or he knew perfectly well he was misquoting and misrepresenting David. (Which is quite easy to believe tbh.)
Go watch it again if you don't believe me. It is honestly mindboggling to me that Muslims still dont understand that hijab misquoted David.
Then later Hijab was confronted about it, his repeated mistake, and do you know what he tried to say? He said "he meant Allah *praise* for Mohammad". Pointing this out is primarily a rejoinder to Muslims pointing at Jesus prays to God the Father. As an ex-Muslim, I beg you Jordan NOT to convert to Islam, or to any religion if I may. I can only speak for my experience though.
I started practicing Islam in the winter of 2016, after having been a non-practicing aspirant/appropriator (picking and choosing as I pleased) for the last year. I was deeply convinced that the Qur'an was truly the word of God, and not just mere human assumptions about God, and thus I had to take it bloody serious from now on. I immediately enlisted the help of other brothers who had been practicing for several years, studied abroad, in Medina and other places. They were all from the same city as me, and a couple of them also white converts like me. Everything immediately went to hell for me. I was forced to wake up in the middle of the night to pray fajr, every single night for 4 years in a row, until I finally in 2020 started getting stuck in bed all day, lying awake, exhausted (I've been having chronic fatigue since February 2020, much like you Jordan in 2018). Along the way I came across Islamic prohibitions like e.g. music and anger. Since when did a feeling like anger become haram, and besides that something that’s otherwise ikhtilaf (meaning, scholars have different opinions, leaving it basically halal because all scholars have to agree something’s haram)?
During my first 2 years of Islam, I was severely depressed, and later on I found it increasingly difficult to make wudu and the prayer (all 5 that is). I had daily, paralyzing anxiety about whether they were completed perfectly or not, and they took in total 2-3 hours each day for me to be sure they were completed (religious OCD in other words). I had to hold my bladder and rectal gas for too long just to preserve the wudu, which caused urinary tract infection and hemorrhoids. I was also pressured by my closest friends at the time, who I now became dependent on for the correct interpretation of Islam, to marry a Muslim woman who went to the same junior high school as me (at the same time as me), where life was a different kind of hell (her female friends bullied me etc.). This woman was the biological sister of 2 of these brothers, who were a bit older than me. It never led to anything, and I've had no interest in marriage since. Perhaps necessarily, Islam completely depleted all my chances at female relationships at all.
Don't wanna sound like an incel cause I ain't one, you know the school shooter type who blames women for all the worlds' problems. I'm very self-sufficient and self-made. That's largely why I became a Muslim in the first place, but that's also why I was able to leave. Many of those I hung with and followed on RUclips were fuckboys in their past and are now doing life WOP in Islam. They have to have a wife or else they'll get swallowed by all the women of the world, at least that's what they said would happen to me besides Jahannam. That's why they believe the hijab is mandatory for women like in Iran. But I can handle myself much like I did in my pre-Islam days, and I sure can now.

Islam said almost impossible things about future and as also mentioned in the video u can see that how there was also a timeframe or period given and if that period was finished and what was said didnt occur then prophet Muhammad would have been declared a falsi prophet on spot which obviously didnt happen. And there is not just one prophect but many. And you were saying abiut other people making prophecies. I dont know of any other person who made prophecies about future like this and didnt play a guessing game or said based things on what was more likely to happen.
Saying something what is almost impossible to occur and it occurs, and not making just one prophecy rather a lot and also situation where timeframe is given and etc etc is a perfect proof of someone's honesty and that he/she is backed or supported by God.

One thing I realised about Mohammed Hijab and JP briefly referred to it, although quite tactfully during their whole discussion is that he lacked the ability to just have an intellectual logos with JP. Quite a few of his ideas seemed to be a direct quote of the scripture, quote and translate, in which there is nothing wrong with but it makes it sound like he does not truly understand the meaning of his own ideology or he does not know how to communicate that to his audience maybe because he is trying to sound intelligent and well knowledgeable. I am sure he fully grasps the idea he is trying to convey but it takes a lot out of this conversation especially if his style is to Preach to JP when you have the ample opportunity to delve into the true understanding of the meaning each party discusses. He is definitely a traditional debater, ready to refute any argument in quick succession, (I quote, although paraphrasing, "let me push back on this". His favourite sentence) but that's not his audience. Jonathan Pageau seemed uninterested in having that back and forth, probably was hoping for something more (I might be wrong though :D ).

@@jerryfisher6134 I know he’s not Muslim - but when Muslims don’t even bother to look up Dastur al-Madinah and start they way Muhammad saws. established Islam - that’s the reason I agree on this one statement from Peterson.

I do Appliance and Refrigeration repair. During a repair to a Muslim house, myself and the husband and wife talked. They said we need the oven fixed for Ramadan. As I worked I asked about Ramadan. They explained to me what they do and what they believe and why Ramadan is important. They then asked me about Easter and why Easter was so important to Christians. We had a very good chat and maybe a little better understanding of each other. When I left, Oven was ready!
