I feel you every year i make a litlte post on my FB, i remeber when growing up Linkin park came out with an album every time my life reached its darkest point. It felt like having that friend that just knew everything what was going on, and what i needed.
Man, if anybody could capture the essence of Linkin Park, and more importantly Chester, it's you two! There are really great artists out there who do great renditions of their own, but you two make it your own by switching up the harmony and (I need to listen to it again but, I think) slightly slowing it down to bring up the drama and feels this piece captures. Caleb, like I said, you're a godsend. John, you complete the whole and as a baritone I absolutely love the lower ranges you can reach. In short, you guys are awesome and please never stop! Peace!
Nick Craig really? It comes off rather emotionally empty. They looked like they were putting emotion into it but I don’t hear it. Might have to check it out with headphones.
did you heard "In The End Linkin Park Cinematic Cover (feat. Jung Youth & Fleurie) // Produced by Tommee Profitt"? To me it is the best cover, the singing could use some work but the rapping and instruments are the best out there.
I think part of it is the brotherhood between them. Chester and Mike were SO close and it really showed in their music. Caleb and Jon really capture that in their back and forth, and the way they actively try to work with each other's voices
R.I.P. Chester Bennington, you will be missed. Jonathan and Caleb y'all did this song justice. I'm sharing this on social media so everyone can hear how great y'all sound. I'm subscribed to both of y'alls channels.
It's actually not how originally they sound. The song has got a massive studio magic added to it. If you have the voice, even you can create your own masterpiece!

Caleb is unbelievable. His performance is just amazing. It's like breathing fresh air, to see finally someone so talented and performing so good like he's doing. It changes from the shit some people call "music".

Kinda looks like they both felt this one a little too much while doing it. You can see it at the end of the song, where it looks like shit just came down in their mind and they are trying to hold it back. It's cool, guys. A lot of us grew up listening to Linkin Park too, we know how close it hits. Just don't forget, you both have people who believe in you, love you and the work you both do. Even though sometimes hearing these songs brings back painful memories, I still listen, because you guys always do the song justice at the very least, if not blow the original out of the water. I ♥ you guys. Don't ever stop.
@@Zombieshark420x you know Chester killed himself, right? That's why people are looking into this. It's a sad topic. If you listen to Linkin Park's songs... They're mostly indicative of mental health issues and very clearly suicidal. Everyone trashed LP for being moody teen angst and that invalidated those very real depression feelings Chester experienced. And then he killed himself. Now they look back and his music is a complete reflection of the suffering he was going through. It was right there and no one noticed because it's just music. So, you'll have to excuse people being hypervigilant when it comes to anything having to do with Linkin Park. A lot of people are still hurting.
@@user-tz1fx2fe9g yeah I know he killed himself but I have no sympathy for somebody who does what he did, and has kids. I've been through depression there's no excuse for it.
I watched the "breaking the habit video" back when it came out and I remember just the rawness of it, even for Jonathan and I was like "holy shit, chester really did affect everybody" and then I saw this one some time later and it hits you right there at the end. Caleb, Jonathan, Lauren Babic, Lee Albrecht, Violet Orlandi and so many others are artists but they are shaped by artists too. I always have loved covers because I feel like it's one artist's way of paying respect to another and in this sense I really feel that's the case. I guess what I'm trying to say to Jonathan and Caleb and to all the people watching this video and reading this is thank you. I can barely watch LP videos anymore because it hurts. I feel like every human in every generation has their musician that made them who they are and Chester was mine. Great job. you made Chester proud.
Nobody will ever be able to fill the void Chester left, but you guys are doing an awesome job at paying respect to one of the greatest voices in rock of all time. Thanks for all that you guys do.
This song actually makes my mom cry because after a huge family tragedy it reminds her of all the time she and dad had trouble seeing when I was in high school. The second verse really hits them hard
My dad used to listen to the original of this song before he passed away just hearing this version both makes me feel his presence and gives me strength. Awesome cover guys and Thank you!
I miss him. I'm going through the darkest point in my life and hearing this just solidifies the darkness that I feel. I know things will get better but it hurts remembering all the times listening to Linkin Park it's gotten me through so much over the years.

The look in Caleb's eyes and on Jonathan's face. That song hit home for them singing it as it does us listening to it. A reminder of what the world lost. Great work guys. Always great listening to both of you.
The first Linkin Park song I heard and the first song that introduced me to Chester and the rest. I love Linkin Park and even though my favorite songs will always change, Linkin Park will always hold a special place. Rest in peace Chester Bennington...
Man, you killed it! My adolescence is running wild again! Now you should go all Iron Maiden and cover Fear of the Dark, or Run to the Hills. That would be amazing!

I PUT MY TRUST, IN YOOOOOOOOOU
[Chester Bennington:]
It starts with one
[Mike Shinoda:]
One thing I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
To explain in due time
[Chester Bennington:]
All I know
[Mike Shinoda:]
All I know time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away
[Chester Bennington:]
It's so unreal
[Mike Shinoda:]
It's so unreal, didn't look out below
Watch the time go right out the window
Trying to hold on, did-didn't even know
I wasted it all just to watch you go
[Chester Bennington:]
Watch you go
[Mike Shinoda:]
I kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard
[Chester Bennington:]
I tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
[Mike Shinoda:]
One thing, I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
To remind myself how I tried so hard
[Chester Bennington:]
I tried so hard
[Mike Shinoda:]
In spite of the way you were mocking me
Acting like I was part of your property
Remembering all the times you fought with me
I'm surprised it got so far
[Chester Bennington:]
Got so far
[Mike Shinoda:]
Things aren't the way they were before
You wouldn't even recognize me anymore
Not that you knew me back then
But it all comes back to me in the end
[Chester Bennington:]
In the end
[Mike Shinoda:]
You kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard
[Chester Bennington:]
I tried so hard
