Exactly the same sentiments from me -- never a big fan of their music but respected what they were doing at the time (making tons of $$$). So, I heard this unknown beauty from the movie years ago and remarked, "Wow! What song is *that*?" Interestingly, I found out from YT comments here that they didn't even write the song -- it's an Orpheus tune from the late '60s. By far, my favorite Hootie song though... Peace!

All of those versions are on RUclips.

I can't find the time to tell you,
And oh--- (Ba, da-ba-da da da) I can't find the time, time
Baby, I can't find the time, ba da, ba da, yeah
I can't find the time to tell you, I can't find the time to tell you
No, no I can't find the time to tell you,
Oh now, ohh... Ba da, ba da... I can't find the time to tell you.

It was only released on the soundtrack to which Spotify doesn’t have the rights. I always have a hard time finding soundtracks on there. Must be a legal issue with the movie studios/music rights.

I absolutely LOVE this song. Thanks so much! iTunes/Apple Music are cunts. They make you buy the whole album just for the one song.
