I remember at 4:20 looking around man wouldn't be amazing to have a cyberpunk game in a more usual urban setting. A few months later Deus Ex came out. :)
Please note that the SS2 Redux "mod" is just a repackage of other mods that was made WITHOUT the permission of any of the original mod authors. Anyone who wants to mod SS2 should just install the mod manager and then only install the mods they want.
Remembering it as a great game, and only now in the condition it deserved back then. Fun to see how the player here uses the PSI powers and how differently you use them. I myself used invisibility, suck out the opponent's energy, fire at proximity and so on, there are many possibilities. My fingers and soul tingle when I see the new version - as nice as it is, and the adventure hasn't lost its luster - so maybe?
@2Play Gaming Hi! Thank you very much, i appreciate it! Actually System Shock 2 was the last project with my old rig wich was i7-6700K / 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz / Asus Maximus IX Hero Z290 / RTX3070Ti / Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB (for recording and editing). I'm using Geforce Experience for recording. (50Mbps @ 60FPS) Regardless of the channel, I was going to replace my processor and motherboard anyway. As for the vga, I need much more vram for making quality 4K content(s). Greetings from Hungary!
Ahh, Shock 2, a timeless classic. Could you tell us what difficulty level you are playing? Also, what made you choose the OSA (psionics) path? It is arguably the hardest path, although with OSA you don't have to bother with weapon degradation and such.
@OldUncleMojo HI! I chose 'easy' difficulty during this walkthrough, because i'm old and rusty : ) I haven't played with SS2 since mid 2k, and I couldn't remember some things exactly. (Better safe than sorry.) It was my first run with an OSA guy, because i always chose marine / navy before, wanted to try something different this time. You're right. OSA is way harder simetimes, than the other two. Especially at The Many's realm... it was a real pain. (Challenge?) You have powers, but the native firepower is below than acceptable in some situation. I had to research an exotic weapon, bcs my cryo was way less effective than i expected at the start. At the end, i found a fine solution what pulled me out of the woods : ) Edit: next time, i won't be an OSA guy : )
All modders are unsung heroes. They deserve their own holiday.

Good morning, Admiral.

OSA is easiest. It's really OP when you know how.
looks amazing
I miss playing this game. I wish I had a computer to play it again 😕
when rtx?
you miss a lot of things like cyber modules and records
I always complete the game with normal weapons, time to finally get through it using the techno mage 🫡
