Yes, but you take in the excellent atmosphere, and don't skip anything. Speed runs are impressive, but for a game to be appreciated, you must immerse yourself in it.

Yooo nice. I learned the old route just the other day. That "new" skip in Engineering looks pretty simple but what's the stat boosting you do in the beginning? Do you plan on making an updated tutorial with all the route changes explained?

How are you able to just run through doors and bypass entire deck 4 and deck 5?! Is it due to your agility being so high? 11:04 and 11:31 - What the actual heck...?!?!
Those are the typical teleportation glitches using that psy skill, usually not too useful, but the way the tunnels are laid out after beating the Many's core, it's a very useful glitch to save time having to swim through all that, same with getting through cyberspace to SHODAN, it's pretty common in SS2 speedruns
I get shodan is a Ai and can propably process things thousands of times faster But the dude is trying they're literally going at super human speeds already and propably is finding ways to be faster
At the start when they first go to engineering, you can see them die as they change location. The game is considering the player to be both dead and alive, making them completely invincible (and short because your height is lowered during the death animation)

it took me 18 hrs on easy recently, but I had an advantage, played it every 10 years once, so its like the 3rd longplay

You just need to bind a key to the command called something like "center view" and hold it down.

man my play throughs are like sub 10 hours but I'm not trying to speed run, just play the game sso often. Still the best game ever made in my opinion.
