Thanks for vid. Really helpful and I am saving this as a reference.
Also, I was able to make the prime function work. Here is the procedure:
    1. Disconnect power
    2. Wait till screen is black
    3. Connect power
    4. Wait till it shows 12:00 on the screen
    5. Press and hold the down button till you see 300 on the screen and the pump starts
    6. You can turn off the pump anytime before 300 seconds by pressing the power button.
DO NOT PRESS ANY OTHER BUTTON. THIS ONLY WORKS ONCE FOR EVERY POWER CYCLE. If any other button is pressed, it won't work.
Hope you can get it to work😂

TY! Mine loses prime everytime I drive (fuel line connected to fuel tank) so I'd like to be able to prime it when I park. I can let it run 2-3 start ups and that works too but was hoping it would be more energy efficient and better for the heater to prime it manually after I drive.

@@AwayToMeBus no problem! “maseeukhan” instructions are spot on. Tried it on my heaters and works great. If you need longer than 300 seconds to prime the fuel, you just have to unplug the controller and plug it back in again and you should be good to go.

@@AwayToMeBus I think your vehicle's fuel pump is likely sucking your heater line empty. I'm not sure if you could find one small enough, but a check valve in the heater line would prevent this from happening.

Just ordered a heater from Vevor with bluetooth. I am thankful for your video and @maseeukhan's post as I needed this info when I set my new heater up for the first time in the wifes car. I live in Canada and our winters a cold. She works at night and will be alone in a parking lot. While her car is running and warming up, she is outside the car cleaning off the windows and brushing off the snow. If the car is already warm inside when she gets off work, no need to scrap the windows. Just start the car and head home. Thanks for your video.

I searched the internet high and low yesterday for anything about the newest BT Interface Module and couldn't find anything. I needed to prime my heater and couldn't (like you, never got it to work). After 3 hours I finally got mine to fire up. Sadly YT linked me to your video a day too late. But great tutorial. The best info was the symbol correction for the manual. That made it so frustrating. I may whiteout mine and pen the correction, or at least add a note.
Another side note to newer installers, make sure fuel is getting to the pump so it can actually prime. Mine struggled until I primed the pump and afterwards it was off to the races.
Also, the tank does not have to be above the heater, once the pump is primed, you are good.
Anyone having issues with the BT App being stuck in Celsius? Although my control interface is set to Fahrenheit?
Also, I had combustion (start up) issues with my camper's 12VDC convertor. The heater won't start up because voltage drops too much and throws a code (guess the concertor is too weak). Watch the BT app and you will see these things really suck the amps/voltage when the glow plug is heating.

    • @Moes_Adventures
      @Moes_Adventures  6 месяцев назад

It seems to be a common issue with the app being stuck in Celsius
As far as I know, it is a developer issue they will have to rectify
Yeah, definitely draws around 7-8 Amps on start up and shut down.

The last one I had was useless above 1000m altitude. it smoked heavily, overheated, coked up nearly solid and choked at 2700m altitude after only 4 hours run time. left me cold at 2am on a -20c night.

Man that’s brutal! I would be very upset as im sure you were. I thought they adjusted their air fuel ratio automatically but who knows lol all the units i currently have are running at an elevation of around 760M

The clock on mine is gaining 8 minutes a day. Tried contacting customer support days ago without any response.

Mine does the same thing. It would be annoying if you are trying to use the time based auto on function.

@@Moes_Adventures it's annoying to me either way. The cabin temperature reading is also off on mine by +9C as is the elevation by double (300 meters instead of the actual 150). They really dropped the ball on calibration of the controller.

@@baerv3753hey mine was off by 9°c as well there is a temp off set setting you can change. I dropped my temp by 9°c so now it's accurate.

@@baerv3753 I have the same time problem. My clock is faster by up to 10 minutes a day than reality. Have you any solution? I opened the controller and I saw only crystal with strange value. I guess that problem is firmware in controller. The author of the firmware miscalculated the timer. And timer is faster. 😭
