As a father of two young boys, this was exactly the video tutorial I was looking for. I had this idea in mind for a while, as a project for the boys as a gift to their mother. Thank you.
from the heart of desert beside my camels and tent from Saudi arabia I would llke to say you are great great I love your cute project thank you very much
I am just learning to use air dry clay and I love, love, love, what you created here. I can't wait to try it. Thank you for a wonderful video with these instructions and helpful tips.
Thank you for adding this air dry clay playlist! I have recently started watching your videos and followed you on Etsy. I am new to working with air dry clay and am loving your ideas! I have made little dishes in the past with polymer clay but I am loving the air dry clay and hadn't thought of using it in this way!
Well, now I have to get clay. Before this video I hadn’t seen anything I really wanted to make but I just bought a number of stencils and can’t wait to try these. 😊
Thank you...they are fantastic... would love to see more of your projects... never work with clay before but now you bet i will dive into it... great Christmas gift...
Great video. Thanks. You inspired me to try this. Just one question: how the heck do you keep the clay from sticking to the surface? Your clay comes off super easy, like silly putty. I had to pull mine off with great effort and there was always a rough, thin layer of clay on the surface (freezer paper) that kept sticking to the piece I was rolling.
@@OurUpcycledLife I like this kind of simple, basic techniques. They work brilliantly and you can't go wrong with it. I always thought that DAS is a German brand (because it is a German word). I think I saw it over here in a toy shop, not so long ago. But I guess the roller pin technique is also possible to use with concrete/cement or gypsum.

So cute. How thick are your two boards you roll on? Also, I find my clay is sticking to everything... any suggestions. Thank you
Thanks for watching! I think they are about 1/4 inch thick and I fine rolling on parchment paper helps alot
Love your crafts! I would like to make these dishes for tapas. Is it possible to seal them and make it safe for food ? X
I am unsure how to make these food grade you’d have to do a little bit of research on that
So cute. I have air dried clay but it is a little bit hard, any tips to soften it?
Thanks for watching ❤️did you try putting it in a plastic baggy with a bit of water?

@@OurUpcycledLife Made a little one that is missing a little chunk, so not my proudest piece, but had fun :)
Very excellent tutorial. Thank you.

Are use parchment paper and it just works really well for me you could always sprinkle a little bit of cornstarch on your paper if you find it is
Ficaram lindos!!! 😍😘❤️
Obrigada
WOW!!!!!

Is air dry clay hold up for outdoor?
No it won’t stand up
Perfect technique to use a roller pin on two pieces of wood to get a consistent thickness. Thanks for sharing.

I have the clay but I don’t have a rolling pin🤦♀️
you can use a glass cup or jar anything round!
