It’s a good song (I like it), but it’s probably written more for the fans of the band. If not for Ordinary world and Come undone, that can hook even people totally oblivious to Duran Duran, the album would have been received as a “has been band” trying to stay relevant with average material. But Ordinary World and Come undone will hypnotize almost anyone who appreciates music.
After 31 years I never cease to be surprised by the greatness of this band. It's amazing how far ahead Durán Duran were. The lyrics, the chords, the arrangements. They are geniuses!
Let's just say. THIS WHOLE ALBUM IS AMAZING. Also, the album RIO. DD was a great band that was sometimes dismissed because they were popular, but they were really good.
Never knew existed. First song off the wedding album. Lot of great songs. Umf, love voodoo, none of the above. Along with ordinary world and come undone.
This song just started playing in my mind when I was feeling like We Have TOO MUCH INFORMATION in our brains these days !! Who agrees ????? I still love this song 🎵 and band !!
This track + the entire album is 💯🔥 These guys were in a great space when they delivered this gem of an album. Not one bad traxk. Duran Duran luv to Infinity!! ♾️
Picture it.... February 1993, purposely stayed on the school bus and got off on the wrong stop closest to the record store on purpose. Bought the Duran Duran (Wedding Album) tape with my allowance popped it into my walkman and this was the first song I heard.... I never looked back! Duranie ever since!
I still can not believe how many people did not respond; agree prolific and aware what was to come. I miss true songwriters of our generations; it is a lost art. Duran Duran got it with this album.
What can I say that hasn't been said for so many years. Duran Duran is, and will always be The #1 Band in the World. They know how to write music, Simon Le Bon's beautiful voice on every song, their the best in the world. Talent is there in each and everyone in Duran Duran's Band. Simon, John, Nick, Roger, entire Band. xx
Still a great song. Even more relevant today than it was the year it came out. I've seen these guys in concert twice; both times they put on absolutely mind blowing shows.
Duran Duran is such an innovative band and lives on the fringes of rocks newwest culture of every generation. Too much is a spiraling RIse of their harf rock talent. Rock on D/D
Brilliant song, great video to go along with it, Duran Duran greatest band ever in my opinion, great song writers, brilliant live band, have stood the test of time, looking forward to the new album
Visual does not matter, it's the message of the words. Besides, rebelling against the 'accepted' has always been the way of the artist. Fo Duran Duran!
Towards the end Simon reminds me of David Bowie in the Ashes to Ashes video. This is one of my favourite Duran Duran songs that I haven't heard in years! It's one of those songs that actually got more relevant as time moved forwards.
Incredible song, such a shame they don't play this live any more. Would have loved the band to stick in this direction than continuously follow previous successes or adapt to modern pop sounds.
Just when I thought one of my alternative bands, DuranDuran was retiring, they show up with The Wedding Album in the early 90's. This was the first track on the album. Awesome then, awesome now.
This song was a huge part of that album back then. Every time I revisit this album I play this song and good memories come back from 1993 and the DD show I went to in Dallas.
This song came out when the internet did in 1994...… sometimes I feel like there is too much information out there one has to be judicious and discreet
This brings me back to the 1990s. A real good song with lyrics that are as relevant today as they were back then. Also, maybe there's a possible reference/homage to A Clockwork Orange with Simon strapped to the chair and forced to watch the television.
This song and video express pretty well what people in the autism spectrum feel on a daily basis, I don't think I have ever seen a sensory overload portraited so well. First time I saw it, long time before even realising being autistic, I remember feeling both fascinated and disturbed by this video, and thinking, that's how I feel most of the time.
Wow!Wow!Wow! This song is away pass before it's time,so the video as well. Lamya look's so sexy in this video! God bless her soul. Anyway...the best band in the world. Long live DD!!!
With all the cds that Duran Duran has out, this ordinary world is my all-time top number one favorite. I love the cd and this song too much information is awesome
That is exactly what they are going for. In the movie Alex is strapped down and force fed violent images. Difference being that we are not force fed anything - there is an off switch...if we choose to use it.
The reason this song qualifies as "underrated" is that by the early 90's many listeners were onto the new "sound" of Grunge/ while DD was still retaining their 80's style which for them was the relevant decade for this music !!!
This song turns 30 yrs this year and just as catchy and relevant today as it was in 1993
More of too much information with social media

Absolutely!

When I'm arguing with someone who doesn't 'get' D2, this is one of the songs I play at them.
This is a phenomenal song. Insanely underrated. This should have been huge. Catchy and the message is so relevant

very underrated, my fav off the album
This song was huge at the time on top 40 radio.
Lyrics were just as relative when released as they are today - and I agree: totally underrated tune. One of their best IMHO.
Illuminati 👁
This is the most important album in DD's career. To come up with a monster of an album at the absolute height of grunge, outstanding!
agreed this song sounds unlike most of the band catalogue, its more rock oriented which came with the rise of alternative rock among others in the 90s
It's funny you say that because as much as my exgf and I were totally into grunge, Come Undone was our love song. 😅
Me too , loved both , grunge and wedding album@@xx_naasson_xx
"This band is perfect just dont scratch the surface " smashed it boys

for me one of the best songs ever created... and now in time of FB, twitter, etc even more relevant
Yup especially now !
The on only reason I came here - just told a young one "too much info"...and here we are
hahahaha,so true
One of my favorite Duran Duran songs of all time!
@@27pugsly Especially now!
Massively underrated song. It sort of sank in the wake of the other two singles from this album but this is stellar.
Prophetic song for 2021... too much information that you dont need... One of the best tunes from Durán Durán!
More relevant now than ever. Good call!
One of the best bands of all time.

Yes it took me like an hour to walk home (Mom was working, latchkey kid), totally worth it!
@@SusanStCyr those were the days, now only a memory to look back on.
Yep, I was 14 when this album came out and promptly had to buy the tape. Loved it and still do.
You can have no idea what an influence this video had on us lost in fashion and TV when we saw it in the day. Vitamin boost.
This was done in the early 90s..scary how relevant it is today.

Gosh! 30 years next year !!! Still one of the most powerfull DD songs. Everything here make your blood running wild! Killer!
Great song. Great video. Great looks. Duran Duran rules.
This is right👍👍👍
I still can not believe how many people did not respond; agree prolific and aware what was to come. I miss true songwriters of our generations; it is a lost art. Duran Duran got it with this album.
Yes, this album had several possible hits that didn't pan out.
As relevant today as ever! Simon is super fit in this video 🔥

I envy you for seeing them twice. :)
The very new sound of DD at that moment. I do remember my emotions when I (14 yo boy) first heard this album opener. Mindblowing ⚡❤️
This rocks ! Should be played live more often 🙏🏼
One of their most underrated tracks.
Should play it more often live.
Agreed! Not sure why they don't. I'm seeing them tomorrow night and maybe they'll pull a surprise and play it - it would make my night!
Great video, one of the unappreciated Duran songs
Duran Duran is such an innovative band and lives on the fringes of rocks newwest culture of every generation. Too much is a spiraling RIse of their harf rock talent. Rock on D/D
Cucurullo gives that special touch...couldnt find better guitar man!
Erm, Andy, Nile, Graham Coxon?
Long live Andy!!
Perfect song
US Billboard Hot 100... Peak 45. Underrated!!
Wow! Their outfits and hair look so cool! 😄😊 I also like this song! 😀👍
imo Nick is the only man on earth that looks so good in every type of color hair.
amen to that!
Sara Rodrigues 😘😘😘😘😘😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕so sexy.
Yes he does look so great of any hair color.

Simon's showmanship was on another level😮
wedding album is my best duran album
Wheres cuccurrulo?. Its sad that he is not a part of the band!

One of my favorite DD songs. How this wasn't a massive hit is beyond me.
what an awesome song. starting off w/acoustic guitar was genius !
IMHO the most underrated DD song Just like Careless Memories
This song was a huge part of that album back then. Every time I revisit this album I play this song and good memories come back from 1993 and the DD show I went to in Dallas.
This song is so relevant then and now, its ashame it didnt get more radio play!
Prediction of the future, back in 1993
probably one of the few duran songs with killer guitar riffs, as well.
Classic Duran Duran. Ya gotta love it!
OMG....
Nick Rhodes with Purple hair.

I love this band, even though I wasn't born in the 80's/90's ❤❤ i'm a 2006 babies
Warren at the time saved this band from obscurity. A great period in the history when they actually sounded most edgy and serious.
Matthew Lukeman I wish he was back in the band . Some of their best guitar sounds came from Warren .
Bring back Warren.
Yeah they let him wild out at the end...Warren actually is a great lead guitarist that was kind of held back by the band's pop orientation
Obscurity? Lol.
Nile saved the band from obscurity, WC just ended up all but killing DD, hence the reunion.
Everlasting song. Honney for the ears, honney for the soul ! ! !
