Girl you have exposed the golden ticket!!!!!! I was born and raised in Miami and I have natural 4c hair, I barely resort to silk presses because they look beautiful indoors but honey once I step out that door my hair looks like I never did anything to it, so thank you thank you thank you
Wow! I never knew none of this!. No beautician ever told me that my hair will poof right away due to it being so thirsty that it is just trying to grab moisture from the air. So my hair is practically Turing into hands that are saying "gimme" to the moisture to the air. Wow I never knew this. One side of my hair started to proof before i was done with the other side was done! So this helped me greatly. God bless you 😄🙏
I have naturally curly hair and everyone says it's so cute, just embrace your curls! ...but it doesn't feel like me! I live in a dry climate, so its easy to straighten all the time, but when I travel to humid places I want to look my best, not my frizzy-est! Thank you for your video and product recommendations!
TYSM Subrena for your anti-frizz hair video...it really worked! I have baby fine, very soft, natural hair, that will fluff up if you stare at it long enough lol. I don't bother straightening it. I decided to try all the products you suggested, except the primer. I flat ironed my hair and it stayed straight for over a week, for the 1st time! I hope I get as good results this summer, with MD. humidity, but for now I'm elated.
You are absolutely beautiful and I love your hair. Completely, ignore those who judge. These haters should be concerned with those fake braids pulling all of their edges bald.
Your hair looks beautiful! I live in Florida Humidity is no joke! I would love to see how you keep it straight and your full routine! I’m thinking of straightening next month and making a video!
Angelina TV I live in FL now too, and from NY it’s a HUGE difference in humidity. I didn’t click to your channel but I’m wondering if you ever straightened it and recorded video?
Florida gang here 🙋🏿♀️ it has to be January/February and ZERO humidity for me to silk press. No product on Earth defeats Florida heat. Non Floridians don't understand.
Same here! My hair never stays straight it’s a literal frizz ball as soon as I walk out the door. I don’t know why but it has to be around May for my hair to stay straight.. you’d think it would be around December or January lol.
Im planning on taking a trip to Miami beach early next year if certain things in my life pan out. I really appreciate this video! It has been difficult to find a black woman who lives in florida that deals with humidity on youtube. I used to go to South Florida with my parents as a kid and my hair would get destroyed by the humidity every time! It would be amazing to win the humidity war next time I go!!😭😆
Girl my hair has only been that straight once and it didn't even last two days. I can't wait to try out these products! Also your hair is gorgeous both ways
Ty kindly for the video. I use raw shea butter before I flat iron and my hair doesn't get damaged from it and feels very protected. I have very sensitive skin and prefer not to use chemicals. I will look at the ingredients of the products you recommended. It would be cool to have humidity proof hair. I'm not in the south but in summer it gets humid where I live still lol. I'd like to see your hair regimen 😊 Ty for being a straight haired natural for those of us who are new to the striaight natural path. My hair is thriving more since I've started straightening. 😊
@@wanda01141 It depends on the thickness of your hair. I apply Shea butter before blowdrying my hair, then I flat iron it. My hair feels great, it leaves it shiny and smooth, I don’t have frizz, volume is crazy and I have bounce. My hair is thick and sits right above my bottom.
Thank you for the update subrena living in south Florida I can’t make it outside without looking like a frizz ball 😩😩😩 this is going to help big time 😘😘😘

I think these are too many products for a busy person but I do value that u said the Shea moisture conditioners are thick, discussing the biotera rinse conditioner, and the leave in conditioner in the green bottle which I didn't get the name of.
When your hair is straight and you want to moisturize it without putting any products which has water in it cause its gonna make your hair curly again, what do you use please ?
Use sweet almond oil after straightening and wrap it for at least an hour , don’t use too much just a drop heat it by rubbing your hands together and apply it usually i go for my ends first they poof like crazy then over my whole head
