I made the fatal error of adding two fish to my 70 gallon without quarantine and medication first. Two weeks later here comes the ich 🙄. For anyone who may read this ich x is an amazing medication. It doesn't harm anything including plants
Awesome exploration love your problem-solving way of gitner done!- garlic is the answer to so many fish problems - complex medications can only be gotten here in Canada by vet.
Seachem Metroplex works great. Don’t discredit it just because of “fillers”. It works the best when your fish are still eating and you dose it with the food. If they are not eating try Fritz Expel-P. That stuff makes them literally expel everything that’s inside of them!
Nice video, always impressed by the quality of your videos. I would like to know the formula you use for Ron’s medicated food without using the entire food bag. also if you don’t mind sharing your experience using his medication. I think you mentioned another medicated food, just wondering why having both of they are treating the same parasites. Thanks.
Treat and prevent parasites by regularly cleaning your tank, quarantining new fish, and using treatments like ParaGuard or Prazipro. Keep your fish healthy with proper care!
They should not if all is well. If parasites are accidentally introduced to the tank or their immune systems are weakened by stress it makes them more susceptible.
Nice vid sir.... The Warriors snip though hahaha
Thanks man. Yeah that warriors clip is my all time favorite for ACs 😆

Yeah a lot of people say it’s terrible and only use natural methods, but it worked great in my wife’s tank.
@@CichlidCharmer They're trippin', it's good stuff
I've used it plenty of times. Unfortunately I have an impatient wife that insists on never quarantining anything 🙄
But I recently discovered a humongous aquarium shop here that medicates all of their fish before selling them
@@poohead8022 I totally relate to your wife, 😂. That’s a VERY unusual fish store man

I prefer to use 100% metronidazole. I’m happy that metroplex is working great for you.

One is flake food and one is pellets. I can’t feed my big Africans flake food for several days or they’ll be cranky lol
@@CichlidCharmer Hai kawan... Apakah menurutmu praziquantel lebih efisien daripada formalin malachit fmg ?
Do you do any water changes when treating the tank?
My meds usually tell me to do a 25% change after 48 hours.
The owner at Kordon said that sulfur-based water conditioners can actually lessen the potency of the meds. That's a new one for me.
Hope you don’t mean prime? It might smell like eggs/sulfur but it’s not sulfur based.
@davem.3309 I honestly don't know about Prime.
I have treated Camallanus worms with Levamisole pig wormer. "Steve Holt!"
Interesting. Yes, “Steve Holt!” 😆

I couldn’t say with any degree of accuracy
Were do you get these medications?!???
Most of them from Amazon, unless there's an emergency. Then it's the LFS.
This video is at the right time, is it natural this time that fishes have internal parasites?

You literally unlocked a memory with STEVE HOLT HAHA
Then I’ve achieved all I intended 😂
❤
Thanks, Steve
