- Which Snare Drum Pad Sounds The Best with ATL DRUM ACADEMY? Mr. James Riles III will test out all of the drum pads on this video and he wants to know for the fans of Atlanta Drum Academy, which one sounds the best.
Everyone who plays drums need a snare drum practice pad. No matter if you're practicing for the drum line in your school marching band, Dci, or even if you're learning to play drum set. If you're going to be a serious drummer, you need to be always drumming on your drum pad!! Now which one of these snare drum pads do you think sound the best? Which one do you think Nick Cannon would choose?

I liked all of them but my favorites were the 1st and the last xymox pad and the 2nd one
Have you ever tried the offworld invader pad or the offworld byosphere practice pad? The byosphere practice pad has a magnetic snare puck for you to put at the bottom of the pad to give it that snare sound.

The pads got better and better for me. That blue xymox was the crispiest sound though. The rolls popped the best

I liked Drum Pad Number 4. But honestly you should throw an OffWorld Dark Matter in the mix as well. That said, there are so many others today too. Brash Percussion, Britt Corp Percussion, Ram Percussion. They all have some features and nice benefits & some flaws too. But regardless of what the pad, they are all climbing in price into the stratosphere. Crazy. Keep on drumming my man, peace.

i love practice pad sound comparison videos. i love the way certain ones sound. 1:30, 1:45 for me.
i also like the vic firth slim pad, with a laminate sticker thing on it. and i like the black invader pad with the rim, those were my two favorite pads i had back when i played in high school

@@reececarson9193 It’s a xymox pad. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing one because of their awful delivery times. I’ve been waiting for nearly two years for the pads I ordered.

Why do the xymox pads all sound a bit different from each other. The blue one seemed heavy on the snare beads, vs the silver one was less. Does it have to do with amount of tension you put on the snare bead plate, or just the amount of times you’ve played on each one? Nice video
