i was tired of searching baking textures for a month and now just i found this and i blown away. This is the best thing especially its free, thnx for this.
Fantastic addon Jayanam; very helpful and trims a lot of additional legwork needed to set things up. I'd love to see further additions like baking height maps, ambient occlusion maps and so on. Keep up the great work and happy new year. :)
Super nice to see a simplified baking tool in Blender! It would be great if you can showcase a normal map bake with your addon in the context of hard-surface modelling!
JBAKE Great addon, I tested it today, it worked perfectly. I have meters as a dimension. If we can bake Difuse / Albedo and the other maps with it in the future, that will be awesome. I am already excited. Thanks for your work Jayanam!
You keep helping us without taking any money. That's just, WOW! What would happen if you make this addon be able to make more maps, like, diffuse maps, roughness maps, etc.
Really like the simplicity of this add-on, most of the free blender add-on has terrible UX. Btw, it would be great to bake directly from one multires mesh by specifying resolution for high and low poly
This is fantastic!! I wonder if there will be any kind of options like "Painting Skew" just like the tool inside Marmoset Toolbag? (This tool helps to overcome some issues for weird baked angles (for instance, Screws)) Thank you so much! Big Fan!
Hello, i've been try to bake my high poly sculpted object to low poly normal map. But i got nothing baked, only a blank black screen in image editor... why did that occurred?
Thank you! But I can't seem to install the addon to blender, you hve different files in the zip file, can I please have more specific instructions? Thanks!!
Do you have to already have baked the high poly object with textures for this to work. Or is there any preparations you have to do before you try this?
I'm not a too big a fan of your tutorials but if this addon continues to bake so quickly and we can bake all the maps and textures we need with it, that would be really great and in combination with mask tools we wouldn't even need the Substance Painter anymore, we could just do everything for a finished game model or other render in Blender XD
What is the actual point of this addon? From as far as i can see it you have just copied to bake settings Render Properties panel and added it to your bot. Its the exact same settings so i dont really understand the point of this. Does it do anything else in the background that we cannot really see? Or is it supposed to be just a faster method?
If you dont get the point you should refer to the previous tutorial in which I explain the steps you have to do to bake a normal map from highpoly to lowpoly - count the steps. Then do it with the addon and I'm sure you'll get the point:-)
I think he explained it in a previous video. The "standard" process is super annoying, and it's easy to make errors when baking more than one type of map. So it's mostly just to speed up time and reduce errors.
hello Jayanam - thanks for this great tool. One question : after the bake, and i have the material, and the normal map connected to the material, i have difficult to save the normal map. I cant find an option to save the image. Is it going to image editor, or is it going to uv editor, - or something els? i can se the map regards Frank Fenriz
hello Jayanam i really like this addon , - but is it normal, that it takes 30 minutes or more to bake? I have put the extrusion to 0.39 and the high poly is 2.2 million faces regards Frank Fenriz
Thank you for saving our time.
:-) you're welcome

Oh my gosh, you are some kind of wizard aren’t you??
This is fantastic! Thanks!
No:-) But thx a lot
Looking very promissing. my compliments.
Hey thx!
I didn't know I need this plugin but now I don't know how I lived without it! It's great!
Looks great will try and give feedback. Thanks
Ok, thx
Yay no more cages! This is super cool

Defiinitely will be a lifesaver! His add-ons are really nice to use.
Very useful J, thank you.
You are very welcome, thx

Ok, will give it a try, but Blender itself has some shading issues when it comes to baking highpoly hardsurface meshes to low poly meshes.
Very nice addon, good work!
Thank you!

Thx a lot, will have a look
Excellent like always, Mr. Jayanam. Thank u so much.😊👏👏👏👍
Hey, thx a lot
Thank you man! You saved my life and my pc from my rage ..... I know it's strange to hear this from a stranger, but ....... I love you
Can't thank you enough.❤️❤️❤️ Really impressive
Great you like it, thx
you are the best... thankyou for making our life easy for free.....
Thx, and you are very welcome
Definitely gonna use it.
If you could add Curvature baking and mesh bake isolation (For baking multiple objects) that would be awesome
Thx, will put this to my list
wow!!! congrats, its great!
Thx m8!
Holy s***! It`s something unbelievable! If with this addon I could bake an AO map just as easily, then the need for xNormal will disappear.
AO should be simple, will put this to the list, or please add a feature issue to the guthub, would be great so I can track it.
Thanks for this add-on this will help us a lot.
Glad to help
U people r making blender a best3d application... thanks for this time saving addon
JBake addon is super useful! Thanks! :)
Thank you very much for your efforts and free great addons, cheers from Iraq.

Really nice add-on thank you so much, not downloaded and tried yet but looks to be extremely useful,.....thanks again :)
Thanks Jay for addon
Very powerful.
Thx m8!
You are awesome!
:-) Thx!
Thank you.
You're welcome
Thats amazing, thank you
Thank you

Big Fan!
Pretty useful thank you
Thanks man!
Can't I just paint a normal map somehow instead of making a high poly mesh to begin with 😅
Very cool !
Nice add-on
Very nice 👍
Thank you!
Excellent Addon!!! Thankyou!
Any chance you might add the ability to bake displacement maps??? that would be amazing, thanks again.
Thx, will ut this to my list, or just add an issue to the github
Nice addon
please add the other textures as soon as you can! There is a very similar addon which is called EasyBake, but seems to not be developed anymore.
Ok, could you add a feature request / issue to the github?
Hey, I followed your tutorial exact. But my low poly character appears to be a blue tie dye color. I don't know why.
Please make a decent displacement baking !
Hello, i've been try to bake my high poly sculpted object to low poly normal map. But i got nothing baked, only a blank black screen in image editor... why did that occurred?

This is awesome. Does is work with the multi-resolution modifier ?
Do you have to already have baked the high poly object with textures for this to work. Or is there any preparations you have to do before you try this?
After creating the normal maps do I need to save them somewhere or are they already saved with the project?
It must be built in addon
Now we nee Jscatter and jpainter addon.
my baked normal looks inverted, how can I fix that?
Do you only have to mark seams/uv Unwarp the low poly object to bake maps or both high and low poly objects
Only low poly. because this is the mesh to which the high poly details are projected and this is done by using a UV map.
is the result better than the default in blender ??
Addons just warp the Blender functionality, so it can't be better than that:-)
please make it possible to bake albedo
I'm not a too big a fan of your tutorials but if this addon continues to bake so quickly and we can bake all the maps and textures we need with it, that would be really great and in combination with mask tools we wouldn't even need the Substance Painter anymore, we could just do everything for a finished game model or other render in Blender XD
How to get the addon?
The link is in the description
doesnt show in addons
The bake work in blender, is awfull. Things like this save a lot of time for certains workflows with mandatory blender use in the toolchain. Thanks.
Thx, you're welcome

@@Ziflinz Exactly, thx for the clear and nice explanation:-)
@@JayAnAm No problem and thanks for the great plugin! It is definite appreciated after wanting to pull my hair out using the standard tools! :)
@@Ziflinz Haha... alright, great you like it

Hi Frank, yes, the Image editor has a Save As option in the Image menu.
