What they don't tell you is if you download the fender tone software and plug it into a USB 2.0 port on your computer you can update it and use your pc to pick amps and effects and mod them on the fly. Makes this amp 100x more awesome.
Is it simple to do? I have a boss me-80 and you can also download a software and connect it to a computer but it just seems way to complicated for me lol
I can't believe it. A guitar demo where they actually show off the gear NATURALLY! I'm so used to watching amp reviews where the guy used 18 effects pedals all costing $600 a piece so you have no idea what the actual amp sounds like.
Ha this reminds me of a Brian May instructional video from the 80s on here, Brian demonstrating how to get his signature tone. All you need is a custom-made one-of-a-kind guitar, three amps chained in a very specific way, sixteen pedals, and one million dollars.
This seems to be the ultimate practice at home amp. Built in effects and flexibility to create a sound that can potentially become a draft version of your final studio sound. Nice.
If you've been learning to play for longer than a month, you should be able to play plenty through that amp. At 1 month, I could play 5 or 6 different riffs with pretty good accuracy. I'm only at 2 months now but I just learned 2 more in the last 2 nights. I was looking at these but went with a used Mustang II 1X12 40W for half the price of a new LT25. Personally, I'd probably take an LT25 over a GT40 because the LT has an 8 inch speaker vs (2) 6.5" speakers in the GT40. I just went from a single 6.5" to a 1x8 and the difference is unbelievable. I can't wait til the Mustang II gets here so I can compare the 1x12 to the 1x8 in my Line 6 Spider IV, then to the crappy 6.5" in the amp that came with my Silvertone guitar. It's similar to a 10g.

And the ridiculously low price on the Mustang... 🤩)

I had the Mustang GT40 and lost it in a bad break up. My daughter has picked up the guitar and I'm sold on this little unit. Back to Amazon to make the purchase

Well hell yeah!...I saw one at the guitar store today and didn't really know what it was all about but I previously owned a gdec that did all kinds of funky stuff and I loved it, so I decided to have a look at a bunch of reviews on this baby. Suffice to say I'm going back to the store tomorrow for real!!!
Found an old Harmony Discovery electric while cleaning my old house. Figured now is a great time to actually give playing guitar a try. This will be my first amp and I think I'm making a good decision.
Last time i've tried fender amps .... it is a dissappointment to me ... this one really make me comeback for them ! congratz for their player series guitar too ! going to buy em 🤪
We've all heard it and it bears repeating (related to amp modeling): Nobody does Fender better than Fender. I really like the Vintage Tremolo. I have always liked the Fender Mustang 1 v2 amp - great amp for the price. But I've always felt Fender was missing something by not offering their amps with the new technology in an affordable price point. The LT25 seems to resolve this - granted, the prices on their Mustang 1 v2 have gone up putting both amps in a very similar price range. Tough choice - both are great sounding amps!!
Bought one as my second amp, already had a Roland Cube 30. So far, I like the Roland better for playing backing tracks, so I'm using it to play them while my guitar is plugged in the Fender. But after getting a Positive Grid Spark GO, I became a fan of easy to use presets, so the Fender is a lot better for that. Just wish it supported dual foot switch, so you can go between more than 2 presets, or turn an effect on/off. Will see if I keep it or just end up selling both amps and buying a Boss Katana. However, I have to admit that I really enjoy the "Trash Overkill" preset, played some Slayer with it and it just sounds great
I just bought this, it was in special, im late in the party but good lord if i knew before i would have bough this instead of many pedals lol. Very nice sounds and huge bank of effect! All in one
Looks like Fender did a great job on upgrading the GT series. I have a Hotrod Deluxe with pedals but this one is ideal for taking it with me for travelling.
Rick you used Encoder, Parameter and Modulation immediately following the word Easy...hugh?? I like to flip a switch, crank the volume . But in all fairness it sounds good for what it is. The best amp your team had rolled thus decade has been the bassbreaker series especially the 15 and now the 30. You guys killed on those 2. They will be classics.
If you can't figure out these simple controls you have no business playing chords and scales. Or driving a car. Cooking. Barely wipe your behind I'd guess.
Just purchased one as well. Am a beginner and am very pleased with the presets. A great start as a newb player. Tried to research and buy what I thought I needed. Was better to rely on the experience of the store player/employee salesman. Cheers!
I’ve had this amp for the last 7 months and will be upgrading to the GTX 100 in the near future due to extra”umpf” it provides for jamming with a drummer. Great little practice amp though.
You can also have 60 presets instead of 30 and 100 factory presets that you can upload in the amp if you update the firmware with the software Fender Tone
I just purchased this product and there are a few observations that are different than what is presented in this product video. 1) The presets are now different and their is no more "You Too Anthem" patch loaded on #25, which is what I wanted to utilize. 2) The easter egg presets under the SAVE menu are no longer available. So no extra patches available on the LT25 Amp itself. 3) I found I cannot use the Fender Tone app on my Android phone as it will only start up after connecting to a Bluetooth enabled Fender Amp, which the LT25 does not have Bluetooth. So the phone app cannot move forward at all unless it pairs, you must use a computer with the Fender Tone app. Hope this helps. 👍
Reminds me of the Marshall Code series and I had code 50 that took a long time to set it up , by then I lost my guitar mood to jam. After several of that push button B.S. I sold it cheaply to rid of it. I replaced that amp with tube amp with knobs and never look back and it’s really nice to jam way quicker than push buttons amps.
The Code is best if you just take a basic amp like JTM 45 and go. Editing is tedious. The 50 sounds better than the 25 IMHO. But after 5-6 years I’m looking at something else.
Got mine on the way! I'm looking forward to only saving presets I like. They say there's now 100, heck I'll be tickled if there's just 5 or 6 i like. It'll be nice ignoring the ones I didn't care for.
LMAO same but they only like it whenever I played the nice soundings like vintage tremolo, fender clean, acoustic, etc but dont like the the distortions 😂
Not in person, you got the better sounding amp face to face on real life, this amp is not sounding like this video at guitar center where I tried it out.
@@jc5604 I understand that, it's just that there's some serious digital structure and artifacts that don't seem so prominent in the champion but I'm sure one could dial a mustang in for great tones but they only seem to sing in tracks with other instruments TO my ear.

Hi. May I use distortion and flanger effect simultaneously? Or may I make a customized effect combining two effects together? Thank you in advance for your replies.
You can. If you press the center button on the top of the preset knob, then click stomp, you can customize or change your distortion you want, then click mod and use the knob to select flanger. Also, you can’t use two effects from the mod section simultaneously, and unfortunately, you would have to purchase a pedal if you don’t already have one. Hope that helped.

@@TheKeyblade818 sold both, Neural DSP only today. LT25 is better than the Vox, but both are really crappy if you're recording. For Jams yeah....I dont know, the LT25 or better its bigger brother LT50, far better Soundquality but still Trash in comp. to neural dsp (plini for clean, cali for metal)
Getting back into guitar after 11 years of downtime, and just ordered this beauty for $150. I don't have it yet, but this video and these comments tell me I made the right decision.
bought this thing a few days ago and my favourite is definitely the Dreamy preset. i love just sitting there for hours playing random riffs on it and it just always sounds good. also the super rock one is cool
The high gain Mode is heavy a lot!!! Great AMP.
I`m Very Much Impressed by the Fender Mustang LT-25 .Thank you Fender - The LT-25 is a mini monster . I Deeply Thank God First for making this possible in my life then Thanks to EVERYONE @ Fender for the LT-25 Fender Mustang it`s exactly what sound i wanted - Love you Guys and Thanks again 🥰❤❤❤👍
Chose to upgrade from the Frontman 10g, and I’m very happy that I did. Just bought this amp over the weekend! I can’t wait for it to arrive.
Just ordered it tonight, can’t wait to jam on it!
Man, I only lasted half way thru this video before I stopped and ordered it. Can't wait to use it tomorrow! 🤟🤪🤘
I bought one a few months ago and use it everyday it was crisp sound and endless options I would 100% recommend
I still have the old mustang 1 v2. I use it when I’m just messing around. I’m more of a metal player so I have 2 Randall’s and a 4x12 (rg100es and a century 170) that little mustang is great for playing late at night when I can’t crank up my big amps.
I have the same one and I play blues. Really neat lil amp considering it does justice to different styles.
Bought this for my Fender Player Strat HSS which I received today. Very excited to get a lot of sounds out of this!!
I had the Mustang GT40 and lost it in a bad break up. My daughter has picked up the guitar and I'm sold on this little unit. Back to Amazon to make the purchase
I saw this at a store i was at the other day and i just love how it had many presets seeing that this amp that u can also record through a laptop is sick too and silent practice
just bought mine and its amazing... easy and portable and great for recording.
The goat of practice amps. Yea the katana is the gold I know but this amp is highly underrated when tweaked right for bedroom jam
Got this with my first guitar to learn, this amp can do it all so far so good !
I've made my mind up and will buy this one today...I have 7 amplifiers which includes, vox ac15, fender hot rod devile, 4-10, 65 twin reverb..and one Orange amp , fender bassbreaker 15 amp, etc... but I need this amp!
4:48 sounds like something "Angels & Airwaves" would do
Nighthawk 8 most definitely I heard that too haha
It reminded me of "Love Like Rockets" if they hadn't Angels & Airwaves didn't incorporate those ethereal sounds so much on that track.
Or u2
Nighthawk 8 Well well
It’s a U2 thing
Octabot -preset #10 -sounds like TurboWolf!!!
I'm sold!
hey - bought this yesterday and having a blast with it!
Paul Caputo did it come with a footswitch?
Well hell yeah!...I saw one at the guitar store today and didn't really know what it was all about but I previously owned a gdec that did all kinds of funky stuff and I loved it, so I decided to have a look at a bunch of reviews on this baby. Suffice to say I'm going back to the store tomorrow for real!!!
Buying one at my local music shop today, literally 💜
Just got mine !!! What an upgrade from the 10g frontman
Found an old Harmony Discovery electric while cleaning my old house.
Figured now is a great time to actually give playing guitar a try.
This will be my first amp and I think I'm making a good decision.
Last time i've tried fender amps .... it is a dissappointment to me ... this one really make me comeback for them ! congratz for their player series guitar too ! going to buy em 🤪
i bothered connecting it today on my computer and im superhappy had no idea its has such cool utility
I have one now and I like the space travel setting
I went to guitar center wanting yo buy an amp and they reccomended this one so i searched it up and very impresed will definetley get it soon
I'm not sure why these aren't considered the go-to for people that don't need massive volume. Just perfect.
However, I have to admit that I really enjoy the "Trash Overkill" preset, played some Slayer with it and it just sounds great
Just ordered. I play a fender frontman which is pretty fun for a practice amp. The mustang is more for what I need.
got it yesterday, I love it.
Can you connect to Fender Fuse?
Nope
Wonderful review! I just got mine! Ready to Rock N Roll 🤟
Great demo. Headed to see the LT50 now
I just bought this, it was in special, im late in the party but good lord if i knew before i would have bough this instead of many pedals lol. Very nice sounds and huge bank of effect! All in one
I have the GT200 and love it! Next I want the Fender Bassbreaker 30R
Also looking at a Fender Rumble 800, for a lighter bass amp compared to my Ampeg 810
Just ordered one. Cant freaking wait!!!!
Looks like Fender did a great job on upgrading the GT series. I have a Hotrod Deluxe with pedals but this one is ideal for taking it with me for travelling.
I didnt know its already been oit for years, sounds great
Rick you used Encoder, Parameter and Modulation immediately following the word Easy...hugh?? I like to flip a switch, crank the volume . But in all fairness it sounds good for what it is. The best amp your team had rolled thus decade has been the bassbreaker series especially the 15 and now the 30. You guys killed on those 2. They will be classics.
If you can't figure out these simple controls you have no business playing chords and scales. Or driving a car. Cooking. Barely wipe your behind I'd guess.
Great amp just picked one up today can't believe it's only 150!!!!
$180 now...it got too popular
Fender, Rick, QUICK -- get a video out for the LT50! The specs are great. A demo will sell it like hot cakes.
Just purchased one as well. Am a beginner and am very pleased with the presets. A great start as a newb player. Tried to research and buy what I thought I needed. Was better to rely on the experience of the store player/employee salesman. Cheers!
for the price...I say it's worth it.
It definitely is.
I’ve had this amp for the last 7 months and will be upgrading to the GTX 100 in the near future due to extra”umpf” it provides for jamming with a drummer. Great little practice amp though.
Welp, you just convinced me to buy one.. 5 years later :)
5:59 Bet we didn't know that for however long we have had the amp!!! WOW!!!!
You can also have 60 presets instead of 30 and 100 factory presets that you can upload in the amp if you update the firmware with the software Fender Tone
@@flaviovaloti8046 I tried the whole "replace" trick but it still only says "1-30" not "1-50" in the video. I am so lost on how to get this to work.
@@ogretattoome too
Got it right yesterday, really funny to use and really clean sound 🔥
I really love my Mustang LT 25!!! Question: I would like to add the footswitch. Which one is the right model to buy for this amp? Thanks!
It's a wonderful amp for dreaming guitarists. Sounds great.
silky solo is amazing
JUST GOT MINE AMAZING LITTLE AMP.BRILLIANT
Yup, buying this.
So I have this amp but I’m just watching in what it can but when I click replace I only have the original 30 presets so what do I do?
I've tried three different usb cables...none of them will connect to PC.
Bass sounds pretty cool through it, too.
There was nothing to setting up the LT25, once the firmware updated in 5 mins it was good to go.
The Code is best if you just take a basic amp like JTM 45 and go. Editing is tedious. The 50 sounds better than the 25 IMHO. But after 5-6 years I’m looking at something else.
Honestly I was really surprised at how light it is which makes it ideal for travel I love this amp very much and it’s now among my favorites
1:06 don't need to worry about upsetting them i upset them enough
Can relate
i was literally taken aback by how CLEAN the sound was out of this amp when i first played in the store
does this have a looping effect?
these don't have loopers but the Mustang GTX line does :(
@@weilandcock damn, those things are like twice the price huh? shee
Got mine on the way! I'm looking forward to only saving presets I like. They say there's now 100, heck I'll be tickled if there's just 5 or 6 i like. It'll be nice ignoring the ones I didn't care for.
its pretty loud too, my parents hate it😂 totally worth it for the price
LMAO same but they only like it whenever I played the nice soundings like vintage tremolo, fender clean, acoustic, etc but dont like the the distortions 😂
same 😂 my fucking dad hates me😂
octobot sounds insane
Oh wow this actually sounds dope.
So sorry I didn't wait to get this amp. Instead of this one I got a Fender Champion 20, but this one sounds way far better.
Not in person, you got the better sounding amp face to face on real life, this amp is not sounding like this video at guitar center where I tried it out.
What other suppressors, expanders etc is it plugged into? Sounds good.
@@AuntAlnico4 you have to play with the settings. Everything is flat out of the box with these new mustangs.
Carlos Duque I got a GT40 and there are some LT25 features I envy!
@@jc5604 I understand that, it's just that there's some serious digital structure and artifacts that don't seem so prominent in the champion but I'm sure one could dial a mustang in for great tones but they only seem to sing in tracks with other instruments TO my ear.
4:05 This man really went from avatar ost to him shredding
Just bought a 40th anniversary Squier in Seafoam green. Saw this in surf green. Guess I need it…oh yes, it will be mine…
I am 54 and people tell me I am to old to learn. One of the biggest issues I have is being left handed. They are hard to find or are really expensive. living in Canada everything is over inflated. I am on disability from a work accident so the funds are not there to buy a quality left handed electric guitar. I would love to start with a strat. I will have to keep looking to see if I can find a used quality one before it really is to late to learn.
No man, don't give up! Try to get a 2nd hand from guitar center or whatever, in case you didn't do it yet, this week is everything in discount. I'm musictherapist, if you have any questions or I can help you let me know! Good luck 💪🏻🤘🏻
@@rondamon2312 Unfortunately there is no Guitar Canter in Canada.
@@MarkK01 and paying the delivery is not an option? How expensive is would be?
@@rondamon2312 Thank you for your concern. Like my wife keeps reminding me I was the dumb ass who got injured at work so now i have to pay the price. It is just a dream of mine to play and it will always be a dream but it will never come to be. I just do not make enough to support the dream but I really do appreciate the advice and concern.
@@rondamon2312 As much as my wife says it is a dream I still wanna learn how to play and get my own Fender Strat.
Is it a good pedal platform?
@@randomraisins7954 Dear Raisins, thank you very much for your prompt reply. I'll consider it! :)
where is the link to download the fx? u2, evh, etc. aren't on the one i bought. not sure when the person got it that i bought it from. have a shecter and a fender strat and not tuned, the fx it does have sound pretty awesome, very different than my old tube, i like both sounds. i'm hoping my pedals i ordered work with this, thinking probably not or they are going to sound way cooler, no idea yet, will see.
Has anyone any thoughts on what setting(s) to use to play Johnny B Goode? I just bought this AMP and first electric guitar and am looking for some guidance. Cheers
Great demo
Man that's some gorgeous hair...
Haha, thought the same thing. Kind of jealous.
I love that guitar
