    I will be doing the same kind of video on the off-road mower and motorized bike. If you want to see anything else them let me know, I might do a garage tour too if anyone wants to see the garage.

    I appreciate a RUclipsr who says "You'll see me in the next one" instead of the much creepier "I'll see you in the next video"
    Anyway that thing really rips. I just had a bunch of ATV folks tell me you can't make a mower engine responsive and powerful without massive amounts of aftermarket parts. Videos like this show very obviously that a smart kid with a lot of time on his hands knows better than a whole subreddit full of haters.

    The flatheads were the best thing ever produced in this country. I would dump all three of these Intek OHV, head warping, valve seat dropping, boat anchors I have for a big ole flathead.

      @@IngenTechNational i got a grip of them, they're all just too small to pull a riding mower, and the shafts are the wrong way lol
      The model 13 on mini bike had the valves lapped with rubbing compound, then i grinded the stems so they'd actually shut with the cam installed. Stuck piston? Whacked it out with a hammer, sorta honed the cylinder, new piston/chrome rings, reused the head gasket that in certain i made outta something decades ago, and that thing still thumps.

      @@NubsWithGuns tell that to every person racing go carts in the 90s. The flathead dominated. As far as lawn equipment goes, L heads were the best engine ever produced.

    Mine is not lowered and has a 42 ci 19.5 opposed twin from an lt1000 with an mst 206 on a DLT3000 frame, and has a 5 inch pulley on the front and a 2 inch on the back with 20 inch tires. It did a top speed of 48.5 mph down a hill in a 35 zone lol. Very dangerous with the stock steering too. Great review of this thing showing all the mods done to it. I may use that break design with the stock breaks too.

      If you’re ever in a pinch and don’t have an auxiliary pull starter you can use a ratchet strap on the deck drive pulley

    Shes lookin good. Im still havin fuel leak problems with mine. When you did the diff weld on the offroad mower, i split the case on mine, and the hydro trans looks real good. Good job on the video btw. Cant wait for everythin else!

      Have you looked into a carb rebuild?
      The fuel pump in them likes to die leak and run too rich when they go.

    • @TheLonelyCowboy1958

      Unfortunately, its a gravity fed carb, its also one of the infamous Nikki carbs, so they tend to leak into the cylinder. My 16 horse had the same problem. Im lookin inyo a gasket kit for the carb, so we'll see what happens.

    Need to put 20/50 synthetic oil in it that is the rear end gives it a better lube and it doesn't break down like other oils do a thinner oil will not keep it cool It will break down quick and will not keep it lubed as 20/50 will. You want more of a high intensity oil

  • @NubsWithGuns
    @NubsWithGuns Год назад +1

    You ever thought about flipping the trans upside down and gettting rid of that jackshaft
    I remember back when you started this you didn't want to cut things up to make it all fit but wanted to lower it more.

    • @IngenTechNational
      @IngenTechNational  Год назад +1

      The only problem with that is, is that reverse will be going forwards and you will have 6 reverse speeds. Unless you mount it backwards on top of that, then it would kind of work but that will probably take a while to do because I would have to completely redesign everything. Also I wouldn't be able to fit a big pulley on the front because the clutch is right up against the front pulley. Redesigning the clutch would be a option but all total I would have to completely redesign the whole mower to make it all work. Might could do it in the future, but I am just going to keep it like this lol.

    • @IngenTechNational
      @IngenTechNational  Год назад +1

    • @Dragnous420

      reason i like the transaxle flip better, specially for something spinning this fast. Is that with the stock setup the input shaft is on top and the barrings are getting little no to oil so they heat up, once flipped the shaft is now on the bottom constantly soaked in oil.
      Go rip the hell outta your mower for a solid time then touch the transaxle at the base of the input shaft where the barring is, youll see how hot the barring is getting lol. After flipping it however there has never been a hot input shaft barring again.
