3:00 Ah, yes. My personal favorite musical motif in any game, and this song is the only one in the soundtrack that plays that motif in its entirety. The chordal structure by ear is (EbMaj7, Gmin7, Fmaj, Fmaj(add6))x3, then a transition structure of (EbMaj7, Cmin7, Dmin7, Dmaj) to repeat itself for the second time around. It's freakin beautiful.
Man, i felt in love with PW when i saw a video of it from Max0r. Then later on i played it and damn, when you reach this mission, you feel every single leitmotif on your soul as you fly through those buildings and the sky over the last stronghold of the enemy. For context, it's an invasion with all your resources to put an end to the conflict, a final push for the liberation of Presidia, the capital of the country you're fighting for, when yet you're but a mere mercenary. But for yourself and a few of yours companions, it's also an act of revenge for the comrades lost on previous battles against the Federation. Jose Pavli explained in one of his 'making of' videos, that the main theme of the game has the meaning or the motif of "Freedom", and in some missions the theme is played backwards to symbolise the opposite, in Pavli's words, being "Power". In this track, almost every motif in the game is played here, but the two motifs i mentioned before are played at the same time, meaning that with the clash of the two armies, Freedom and Power are fighting to impose against the other in a glorious, epic, final battle. Sorry for the extensive text, hope i didn't make any mistakes writing that. but i hope it can give you a bit of context for this music. I recommend you to check out on your free time the two videos from Pavli about the ost if you can. It's really awesome how he explain all what he did with the soundtrack. Even for me that i don't have any music background knowledge, it was so cool, so i'm sure you can enjoy and understand even more of it. Love your channel and your analysis man.
I literally JUST finished playing Project Wingman for the first time yesterday, and I see this in my recommendations. Fuck yeah! You should definitely listen to "Wolf in the Dark", "Peacekeeper I", and "Peacekeeper II"; the first is one of my favorite tracks in the game (alongside "King's Court" from the postgame Conquest mode), and the latter two are from really awesome moments with the game's most notable antagonists (those two should definitely be listened to in order, I would argue Kings should be listened to after those two, but you already reacted to that one)
It kills me that these songs are all made out of the same motif puzzle pieces representing all the characters in the game and yet they all sound so different.

@@Nozzen-ny1vx max0r introduced me to this game and it's been my favourite game of all time ever since
I was thinking about this song the other day, thank you for analyzing it!
You should totally feature Descendants or Black Eagles here, you'll love them! Jose never disappoints!

sounds like something i'd hear in a metal gear game
The AC franchise (and by extension, Project Wingman which it inspires) is often described as "Metal Gear with planes."
