Hi there, Thank you so much for listening to my music and your kind words. It means a lot to hear that from a fellow musician. Attack on Titans was indeed my main inspiration for this soundtrack. As for what I have been doing lately, I can confirm I have been cooking. Stay tuned, more is coming! :D
So for context, this is the final boss theme of the game. MASSIVE spoilers below here. Throughout the game, your missions will occasionally be interrupted by the Federation, the enemy nation, sending in their elite Peacekeepers. More specifically, a group of 8 pilots known as Crimson Team who are considered all but unstoppable. In fact, when they first show up, the game does not tell you to fight them, it tells you to FLY AWAY AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. After your first encounter with them though, their leader, Crimson-1, starts to gain an interest in Hitman 1, AKA Monarch, AKA the player character, as they are the ONE pilot he could not take down. Over the course of the game, you hear him go from irritated to straight-up OBSESSED, and when you finally beat his squad for good, it's extremely satisfying. At that point, the game is about 7/8 of the way done, and all you have to do is recapture the capital city of Cascadia, the nation who hired Sicario (and by extension, you) for their help in this war. But you don't get to capture the city. A ceasefire is called, and the war is considered won, but someone wants to keep the war going. Crimson-1 is back, and he essentially NUKES HALF THE WORLD. And what does he do after that? HE BLAMES IT ON YOU. He says its YOUR fault that the war continued as long as it did, that it's YOUR fault so many people died. He projects onto Monarch, the silent protagonist, in almost the exact same way that the player does, blaming Monarch for everything and essentially trying to gaslight the player, and perhaps himself, into thinking they're the bad guy. As he says, "You, solely, are responsible for this.". This song plays during your final battle against him.
Note: the whole song was made in computer cus the project wingman devs didn’t have the money to have a full orchestra, so they hired José Pavli (if I’m not wrong with the composer ) to make the a lot of the music and this final song in his own computer, this was said by the own composer (I don’t remember where, but in a coment section someone asked him something about of the orchestra and he replied with the previously said statement)
@@DEDomain I mean, if there are clips of Jose pavli with an orchestra probably is the ANNIVERSARY orchestra, cus the information is said by him in the comments of the original soundtrack posted by him, in the comments there’s a question about the orchestra and the José Pavli account said that, you can check it
This song takes place at the final boss where you a single merc who overcame everything with skill alone vs a man who lost it all. The best 1v1 ever, although the boss is a touhou boss fight
@@HandsFreeProductions technically no bc his team died and the city is lost (by his hands). In my eyes he had nothing to lose but his life/pride, and he is dedicated to kill you with the most bullshit weapons. But hey he is the best gaslighter so I might be duped lmao
Oh man, this is the genesis. All the flying video games have one of the most banger OSTs in recent memory and yeah, most of this OST was basically concepted as "Nier-type sound, but still being somewhat like Ace Combat." We have almost a hundred songs we can show you from this category of music, so I hope this will open a new chapter for your reactions! Cheers!
By far the best piece from the Project Wingman OST, which has some amazing pieces. it fits the feel of the final mission: the “Kings” of the sky facing off in a final dogfight to end a cataclysmic war for independence over the charred ruins of a decimated megacity, each clinging on to the only things they have left. It encapsulates the cinematic nature and feeling of it very well.
This is an OST that plays during the final boss fight, it is really emotional and the OST makes it so much better. I hope you check out more songs from Jose, maybe in the games order so you can slowly see how the story progresses Also I really recommend you to play this game even if it's just in your free time, it's an experience and a half
This song is the end to a wild story, the final boss fight with a man projecting so hard that he blames you for him nuking his own home because you wouldn't let him win. Not a joke or exaggeration
Found you through your Risk of Rain 2 video, absolutely loved seeing you react to my favorite composer's work! I started typing this comment over an hour ago, wanted to suggest another of his tracks from the DLC that came out a while ago (Frontline 59, which as of writing is sadly only on Playstation to my knowledge). But? I can't narrow down any one song to suggest, they all build off of one another and his leitmotif work is insane. Do I suggest Black Eagles or Descendants, being the final mission and boss tracks respectively that are the climax of the whole OST? Do I suggest World on Fire for making you feel like a badass, merciless executioner? Do I suggest Redline (or Showdown from the base game) for their absolutely insane energy? You could put the track names on a dartboard and never come away with anything but a bullseye.
You gotta do World on Fire from the Project Wingman Frontline 59 OST! It's the PS5 expansion campaign to the game and has arguably even better music than the base game. Also look up the version of this song that has the boss dialogue set to it! The game's emotional impact is incredibly tied to its dialogue and acting.

I'm pretty sure there are clips posted by Jose showing him conducting the orchestra? So I'm not sure where you got your info.

lost it all? No he threw everything away for his pride and then gasslit the player
You fell for the gaslighting, I see.

Hearing this song without Crimson voice make me feel weird
Same, it lack projection and orange
For me it's hearing it without the constant sound of missile locks

Peacekeeper II is another great song from this game
PLEASE do Showdown next!
SpinRift added that into the queue right after he saw this one yesterday lol. It'll be a while, but it's a guaranteed queue so we'll get there

its basically ace combat but on crack.
And considering Ace Combat's stories can be simplified to "Metal Gear but in the sky" that's really saying something.
@@ssfbob456 so project wingman is ace combat rising revengeance.

Daedalus is also a great song
I'm still grieving that you stopped listening to Sawano with so much peak music left 🥲
I didn't stop intentionally, people just stopped asking for it 🥲
Blame the gacha fans, they overtook the comment section lol
@@CatharsisYT Specially us Arknights fans... Sorry for that lol
Please do ace combat 7 - transfer order .
You will never regret it
