The only way to feel true fear is hearing ORGAN in a flight game. Mission 4 is a profound and thought-provoking mission wherein you are the good guys I swear
Minor correction: Magadan Front, the level this song plays in, is the 5th mission of F-59. Other than that, yep, it feels good to be on the good guys. Pax Federation!
Ah, yes, the moment the game reminds you, there are no "good guys" in war. Just a lot of people killing and dying. I love this one. It feels frantic, desperate, laden with power and consequence.
My personal favorite from F-59, tied with Peacekeeper 1. The context is just as awesome; you've driven (hehe, pun) the invading Cascadians from the Federation state of Magadan, and are about to wipe them out for all the actrocities they commited while invading it. Captain Woodward attempts to allow what's left of them to return to Cascadia by proposing a ceasefire to the Federation (which would've allowed them to redeploy combat-capable units to the main Cascadian front). Crystal Kingdom denies the request, and the Federation force wipes out what's left of the CIF unit on Magadan.
Well, if this is Lucifer's theme, you may just be the devil. In frontline 59, you play on the opposing side of the main game, working for the federation, and now, you have reversed the fortunes of one part of the conflict, and now, your forces having the upper hand, have come for a roaring rampage of revenge, all the while the landscape is desolate from your opponent's campaign of infrastructure destruction. If you get a chance, I imagine they are cued, but I'd do Wild Dogs, Black Eagles, Descendents, and A Distant Deal in that order, as all play within the same level.
This song is perfect for the level its in. You are effectively wiping out you're enemy who at this point is begging for surrender but your forces simply ignore their pleas and wipe them out to the last man with no remorse. most memorable part is when some of the Cascadians (the enemies in frontline 59 though they are the good guys in the base game) just start praying over the radio as they are being slaughtered.
I remember another one that blows himself up with a grenade; another that, in his dying breath, swore that his children would burn the federation down; this mission is absolutely HORRIFYING.
If you want to hear another track from PW that uses an organ I would suggest 'Peacekeeper I' (with or without the intro is up to you but the intro adds to it)
Awesome! If you want more of the Project Wingman OST, you can try Presidia, or better yet the one year anniversary live orchestra (the medley is really good imo).
day 29 of suggesting "the shadows" by taishi. consider listening to the one specifically marked as "with error" first. afterwards, read the comments under it and the one not marked as with error. more context in day 1. also "思い出かけら" by sweet dove (this has crazy time signatures and i got a whole paragraph about it from the composer, if you ever react to it I'll comment on it below. there are also english lyric translations)

"These are the results of war"
In the imaginary background due to playing the Mission this song plays in: *Crystal Kingdom Denies The Request*

This track isn’t really directed towards the player. It feels like it’s being directed at the soldiers that you’re shooting in the back as they flee.
Jose Pavli made this song, with a Macbook, in his home!
Sorry I’m not Jose Pavli.
I'm sorry I'm not him too
If you know older Ace Combat games and their plotlines, then you already know why some songs can be serious...😅

This song is the equivalent of blood entering shark filled water, and you are seconds from a feeding frenzy.

You hit the nail on the head.

Also fading the music back in during Woodward's plea. Priming the player exactly for what is about to happen.

If you listened to that you definitely have to listen to Black Eagles and Descendants
Those are the Themes for the final boss of Frontline 59
In my opinion, my favorite song that Jose Pavli has made is Redline, I highly HIGHLY recommend it
Jose Pavli has 2 RUclips videos on how and why he made the songs that he did for the game, you might want to check them out sometime.
If you want to hear another track from PW that uses an organ I would suggest 'Peacekeeper I' (with or without the intro is up to you but the intro adds to it)
If you're looking for a few more serious themes from the base game, "Peacekeeper II" and "Consequence of Power" both give that same feeling
Awesome! If you want more of the Project Wingman OST, you can try Presidia, or better yet the one year anniversary live orchestra (the medley is really good imo).
Minor note is this video doesn't seem to be in the PW/AC tracks playlist? I would have missed it if RUclips hadn't recommended it!
Thanks for saying something 👀 when i made my playlists i knew I'd miss a few lol
You should listen to redline, its my favorite from the game
