  • We re-install the subframe, mount the new rear end, and score some new doors for the junk yard '70 rescue/revival project to get us one step closer to getting this car to the track before they close for the season!

Get yourself a 4x6 section of carpet to lay on under the car. It helps a lot when crawling around on the concrete.

I like this idea a lot. I will definitely have to score some carpet remnant and try it out!

@@hatchsrecreationalengineer1997 my neighbor is a carpet guy so I get them from him. When the remnants get too nasty I get a replacement from him. Usually just a wash with Dawn dish soap & a good scrub down gets it mostly clean if needed. But they last a long time.

The little girl reminds me of my older one when she was little. Funny aside- live in NC. From about the 2nd week of June to Labor Day, NC people do not go to the Outer Banks. "Touriste!" onslaught, but not meant as an insult...just too crowded & a PITA, and the trip is only about 2 hours to the ferry. Also, the show "Outer Banks?" It is a huge continuity issue (& the butt of jokes) when they got on the "Ferry to Chapel Hill." I have a teen as well, and that show is hugely popular with that demo. Mine isn't too into the show, but it was playing & I heard the "Ferry to Chapel Hill" part and saw them get off & driving around by E. Franklin Street.
Nice progress on the Nova. I like these, Falcons, Valiants/Darts-

Nice, I went back to see how the 70 evolved into the 15.90 second screamer it is today. Those upgrades are going to work very, very well. Should be at least 1 HP per cubic inch maybe as good as 1.1 HP per? An engine with more cubes would have better compression say if it had 21 more cubes it would be a bit over 10:1.😎👍

Per another YT channel, the 4 door trunk lids are same as 2 door on 68-72 Novas. Rebuilder swapped in many 4 door parts.

I'm confused, I put in new bushings. But there's no way to torque my body mounts tight. It just collapsed the bottom bushings. It blows the rubber passed the washer. Any idea?
