A few tips for this park. Although weather can be hit or miss, the An Old Time Christmas is the best. When on the Cave tour there is an op moment. take the op, and look for bats in the photo. Don't ride Time Traveler on a full stomach. You can ask for a particular row on Time Traveler... I liked row 8 the best.
This is the best “themed” amusement park I have ever visited. The amount of effort put into theming and the atmosphere is out of this world! Can’t wait to return someday!
I went opening day and it was FREEZING. With the amount of people I saw in shorts in looks like you had better weather. I didn't ride anything because I'm a weenie about the cold and didn't want to deal with wind, so I just ate my way through the park. Glad you had a great time+
Oof I would imagine it would be quite chilly at this time of year! It would be a good excuse to try all the food though 😋 Our visit was last July, so it was a bit spicy outside when we were there haha. Thanks for watching!
I went the day before opening and it was a "soft opening" and it was freezing and i went on the great American plunge with my family we were soaked and cold! And I went on a whole bunch of other roller-coasters too! I will say it was an amazing day!

Also definitely thought about you after hearing about the cave tour hahaha, so awesome. But a huge bummer that you couldn't get to do the full tour

So happy you got to go, even though the weather didn't cooperate. The blacksmith & craftsman area was featured in The Beverly Hillbillies. (Season 8, ep 2/3)- that Time Traveler ride looked awesome. Question - would you liken it a bit to Cosmic Rewind? I thought that watching the footage. The steampunk shop/theming was awesome. I'd love to get into that store as would my dance friends on the other side of the country , as one of my first ballet performances was in a steampunk ballet.
Ooo that’s cool! I feel like we didn’t spend enough time checking out the craftsmen stuff, but it’s a cool thing to have at the park. I guess the physical sensation of spinning would be similar between Time Traveler and Cosmic Rewind, but CR is a very intentional and controlled spin, whereas TT’s cars are free spinning and will be different depending on weight, wind, etc. And spinning through the inversions is a very unique sensation haha. And a steampunk ballet sounds awesome!
Outlaw run looks awesome 😎! How are the lines in comparison to Wonderland? The theming on Time Traveler was great! Love the train. Is the cave tour included? Do you have to climb all those stairs back up?? Great video thanks for sharing.
Outlaw Run was amazing! The lines at Silver Dollar City weren’t too bad. I mean, it was enough that we thought it was worth getting a Trailblazer (especially with it being our first visit), but compared to a summer day at Wonderland, it wasn’t terrible. And yes, the cave tour is free with admission! Usually you’ll get a tram ride back to the top at the end of the tour, but since we were still at the top, we had to take the stairs back 😅 But yeah, it’s an amazing park! It’s definitely worth a visit.

Haha yeah it’s such a fantastic park!!! The cave tour will be the first thing I do when I go back, but even without it, we had a blast 😁

The shark was hiding the day we were there 😅 My shirt choice that day was absolutely intentional though haha
