Anyone else notice that all of the coasters at SDC sit on the outside edges of the park and thats why they're all such good night rides? There's no other light/pathways back there, so it stays dark!!
Parks don't realise how much money they could make with an event where they stay open all night and have DJ stages around the park. Make it an expensive ticketed event for adults woth cool club lighting everywhere. Open from 8pm till 4am. All night rides.
It definitely is. The camera blinds you mid launch and I usually get my vision back at the top of the airtime hill immediately afterwards, and then it’s darkness. It’s right behind Outlaw Run for night rides for me
This park looks absolutely incredible. And since it’s not Disney or Universal it’s not treated like it’s godlike, which makes me feel that this park is thoroughly underrated.
Anyone else jealous of these guys??? ✌️ It’s a top 5 park in the world, such a beauty. Walkable, immersive and the coasters are top tier (OR and TT are terrific bookends).
Silver Dollar City has no duds in the their coaster line up. While they don't have many coasters, Taylor statement is very true, I want to re-ride everything every visit. And most parks have a handful of one and done or only ride if there is extra time. This video makes me want to plan for a day the park is open later. As many times as I have been there I have yet to do the cave, I think that is must for next time.
This isn't my personal number one favorite park. It sits just outside my top 5. But this place is incredible and I wouldn't blame anyone if this was their number one park regardless of how many parks they've visited. It really has it all. It's one of those parks where the coasters aren't even the best offering and frankly that's a good thing.
Thanks for visiting SDC! I have been working here since July (Fireman’s Landing) and have thoroughly enjoyed my time entertaining kids and parents alike. I hope to see y’all next year when Fire in the Hole opens!
Herschend just really knows how to build and run a park. Focused, consistent quality, good operations, food, and mindful of views and eyesights. I’ve never been to SDC’s Fall event, but I have been to Dollywood’s with all the amazing pumpkins. I had the same reaction.
SDC consistently ranks in my top Five parks, and I’ve been to more than 100, because I truly love every experience offered. The food is amazing, the staff is amazing, they have shows and dark rides, and the coaster lineup is solid.
I've watched your other Silver Dollar City vlogs, but I feel like you got the authentic Silver Dollar City experience this time by doing the non-ride things, too.
What a great visit! I didn’t know they did any of this so thanks for going there and showing this! Looks absolutely fantastic. The pumpkin ghost were my favorite. So creative!
I sent this blog to my mother to watch, trying to talk her & my dad into going to Silverdollar City. Cross your fingers! Such a great video of the park, day and night at this festive time. You guys are the best😊
I'm so glad that you both had a great time at my home park. The Christmas event is my favorite of everything they do. I've got 3 weekends planned there this year. I still think Dollywood has the best Christmas event though.
I wish Hulk had the Wildfire trains! Its like a hyper coaster in legroom, but otsr... Love Wildfire :) Thunderation is great! And ends with a satisfying "one last drop" experience.. layout wise & unfortunately pain wise, not as good as Adventure Express... however it has smoother transitions despite the potholes. my #2 arrow mine train. Time Traveler I definitely hope they can let it spin more. Sometimes you are facing forward for most of your ride lol
I shouldn't be surprised that Marvel Cave has bats there. I wouldn't have guessed that those two ACTUALLY saw one "sleeping". Never would have guessed that most of SDC was over a cave.
Just rerode Rockn’Rollercoaster for the first time since 2008 and conpletely forgot how intense it feels! How does that launch compare with others like Powder Keg???
When I was at Dollywood this summer i road Blazing Fury and they always would say Fire in the Hole before the ride, but this year there was no enthusiasm in anybody calling it out which was very disappointing cause every other time somebody would just scream it
what's the better extreme spinning coaster in the world? funfact SDC time traveller is with controlled spinning and the ride to happiness is no magnet to control the spinning
SIlver Dollar CIty and Dollywood (Herschend Entertainment parks) food quality is far above other regional parks. Most of it is good down-home cookin and alot of it is made from scratch!!!
You compare this park and call it Disney-esque? Pleeeease don't even go there!!. I am so tired of WOKE Disney and them cramming their IP's and their political rhetoric down your throat. That's what I like about Hershend Parks. Beautiful, relaxing, well-done authentic environment with beautiful landscaping...without attractions being themed after characters to sell more merchandise or advertisements everywhere No hidden agendas; just good ole well-done entertainment!! Compared to Disney, this park is a wonderful breath of fresh air!!!

Also it makes the park so immersive as well.
Also, every coaster with a lift turns left at the top before it drops. 4/4 (not counting the kiddie)
Maybe why Voyage hits different at night!
@LAXCRBshe did not get either
@LAXCRB naw. Her teeth look exactly the same as usual. They look fine.
The Time Traveler cinematography 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 WOW!
With the music.

Outlaw run at night...top 5 ride experience anywhere 😃
It’s wild!
100%
The powder keg left out in the cold 😭 that launch would be nuts at night
It definitely is. The camera blinds you mid launch and I usually get my vision back at the top of the airtime hill immediately afterwards, and then it’s darkness. It’s right behind Outlaw Run for night rides for me
I’m proud that this is my home park!
So lucky. Dollywood and while there is a lot of similarities SDC is a lot more polished
Sarah goes from never visiting silver dollar city, to visiting twice in two months!
SDC looks awesome!!! Glad Sarah now went twice!!!
Honesty this and dollywood make me excited like disney does.
Dollywood is my home park and IMO if you have to choose one go to SDC, it's Dollywood but better
I went to this park during the summer and it became my number one park instantly, such a great unique park with a great atmosphere and tons of charm
This park looks absolutely incredible. And since it’s not Disney or Universal it’s not treated like it’s godlike, which makes me feel that this park is thoroughly underrated.
I will never get over the cuteness of seeing you two together. Y'all are a Coaster Couple and nobody can take that away.
Anyone else jealous of these guys??? ✌️ It’s a top 5 park in the world, such a beauty. Walkable, immersive and the coasters are top tier (OR and TT are terrific bookends).
It's my personal number one, it's such a great park
I’m not jealous. I’m happy to come along for the ride in video form!

The cave is an absolute must, it is beautiful
the first ride is so smooth and has the perfect size loops for a coaster
That Mac and cheese is FIRE!!!
Amazing shots of Time Traveler
18:46 I thought Sarah was gonna say that wildfire was her favorite in the park I was about to be like "ok interesting"
Pumpkins? I’m already ready for Christmas 🎄
This isn't my personal number one favorite park. It sits just outside my top 5. But this place is incredible and I wouldn't blame anyone if this was their number one park regardless of how many parks they've visited. It really has it all.

I don't think outlaw is rough, BUT in the back there is an enormous pothole at the bottom of the first drop and it is UNCOMFORTABLE
Herschend just really knows how to build and run a park. Focused, consistent quality, good operations, food, and mindful of views and eyesights. I’ve never been to SDC’s Fall event, but I have been to Dollywood’s with all the amazing pumpkins. I had the same reaction.
I’m gonna go to silver dollar city some time soon
Time traveler is still one of my favorite coasters because it isn’t very intense and random it is so easy to marathon all day.
SDC consistently ranks in my top Five parks, and I’ve been to more than 100, because I truly love every experience offered. The food is amazing, the staff is amazing, they have shows and dark rides, and the coaster lineup is solid.
Nooooo you guys made me obsessed with Hersheypark and now SDC 😭
I've watched your other Silver Dollar City vlogs, but I feel like you got the authentic Silver Dollar City experience this time by doing the non-ride things, too.
What a great visit! I didn’t know they did any of this so thanks for going there and showing this! Looks absolutely fantastic. The pumpkin ghost were my favorite. So creative!
The Christmas event is also amazing
Definiely the best park to have as a home park! I've been going to SDC since I was 5 and it never gets old.
I sent this blog to my mother to watch, trying to talk her & my dad into going to Silverdollar City. Cross your fingers! Such a great video of the park, day and night at this festive time. You guys are the best😊
we hope they are sold on going! 🤞🏼
I'm so glad that you both had a great time at my home park. The Christmas event is my favorite of everything they do. I've got 3 weekends planned there this year. I still think Dollywood has the best Christmas event though.
Made my first trip there this year and i miss it so much! The night rides are legendary on basically every coaster its so fun
I love your videos and love this park! Thank you so much for these
YAY
Dream big and do good!
I wish Hulk had the Wildfire trains! Its like a hyper coaster in legroom, but otsr... Love Wildfire :)
Thunderation is great!
Wildfire is a floored floorless!
At niiight! 😏😎
Sarah was a real oddball that day LOL
12:31 really reminds me of my favorite stage show I’ve seen! It’s called The Moulin Rouge!
Powderkeg at night is actually super underrated. If you sit in the front and get blinded by that camera you can't see anything until the lift.
You've gotta take a lantern tour sometime :)
I'm so confused I thought fire in the hole was already closed for refurbishment bc there was the walking tour etc
Nope. It's open through December and the new one will hopefully open with the park in the spring.
They are rebuilding Fire in the Hole from scratch in the Fireman's Landing area. The current Fire in the Hole will close at the end of the season
They had the Saloon Show at SDC Pigeon Forge before it became Dollywood.
you are both winning together !
My first rides on X2 and Tatsu were both night rides
I love Silver dollar city, and time traveler. And yes, the employees are so friendly. the Ozarks are very religious and God-fearing people.
Omfg i got outlaw run night rides this summer and it was so amazingly terrifying!
I shouldn't be surprised that Marvel Cave has bats there. I wouldn't have guessed that those two ACTUALLY saw one "sleeping".
Never would have guessed that most of SDC was over a cave.
The cave is one of the best things there, an absolute can not miss
I am going there in 13 days
Just rerode Rockn’Rollercoaster for the first time since 2008 and conpletely forgot how intense it feels! How does that launch compare with others like Powder Keg???
No take on Powder Keg. It’s an incredible ride…I hope it wasn’t broken down while you were there…😢
I wonder what Time Traveler would be like with Ride to Happiness trains…
I'm commenting... at night
Wait a minute....... Sarah, how in the hell do you leave the hotel room without already having your morning coffee????
Sara At 4:19 😂
I was there 8 days before you 😭
Hope y’all come to sixflags Discovery Kingdom
When I was at Dollywood this summer i road Blazing Fury and they always would say Fire in the Hole before the ride, but this year there was no enthusiasm in anybody calling it out which was very disappointing cause every other time somebody would just scream it
SDC is the best park in America.
Some dorky guy and Rachael Ray ride roller coasters.
I'm scared of roller coaster drops
Is it just me or does Wildfire look a lot more orange and less brown than normal in this video?
what's the better extreme spinning coaster in the world? funfact SDC time traveller is with controlled spinning and the ride to happiness is no magnet to control the spinning
How much do the Mack spinners cost to construct?
atttt....NIGHTTTT....
No Powder Keg?
Who wants to ridr time traveler while quoting forrest gump...ya never know what ur gonna get
I have only dont the haunted version of the cave tour. It is definitely worth it
SIlver Dollar CIty and Dollywood (Herschend Entertainment parks) food quality is far above other regional parks. Most of it is good down-home cookin and alot of it is made from scratch!!!
