@@Josh_Stuchberycedar fair introduced a policy where you must have your hats In your shirts now if you bring it on along with glass with out a strap I can’t speak for other parks but that’s cedar fairs rule.
I’m an employee and have done a bunch of test rides, so I have ridden this beast 65 times!

Fun tip: If you take apart a pair of film-type 3D glasses, you can make a filter to go over your gopro and the 3D screens will look normal.
They definitely need to open up the single-rider option for Primordial. Hopefully that happens as I'd love to visit the park and it will pretty much be a guarantee that I'd be making the trip by myself. That said, there are still quite a few rides I want to give a go other than Primordial so either way, the day will be packed.
Just a heads up that you can’t ride Jet Star 2 solo.
The park removed the single rider option until after you’ve waited through 90% of the line
@@jamesglover2251 Oh, I hate when parks do that. The same set-up can be found on Red Force at PortAventura, and that ride gets an insanely long line.

Primordial is a huge upgrade to lagoon. To me it felt like Disney with the lynx animatronic, moving walkway, and the 3D interactive parts. The ride has great theme to it and it’s incredibly smooth I would definitely recommend.

I’ve gotten the drop track 4 times and the backwards slide once. Also you can get a dragon ending or owl which makes for 6 endings

@@christtototottottott in the pre-show it explains that there are two guardians that need saving. The dragon, and the owl. You can get endings where you encounter a dragon or an owl. This makes so there is a total of 6 possible endings

idk if you guys did anything different, but on the coasters the audio sounds great! another great vlog :)
We did recently get a better mic for the on-ride videos- definitely more directional and limits the wind noise!
This is actually so cool that I’m adding this park to my bucket list even though there’s a whole ocean separating me from it 😆

DC Rivals Hypercoaster at Warner Bros. Movie World valleyed last year and it took them over a month to get it operational again. For them to do this in 5 hours is insane
Primordial honestly looks like what Cedar Fair wanted to do when building Wonder Mountain’s Guardian
It's made by the same manufacturer, and WMG was the prototype. It's obvious that ART Engineering has learned from their previous problems to make one of the world's best dark rides. Hopefully the reliability is good!

WMG was a good attempt at something like this when it comes to themed dark ride-coaster hybrids.
The ride itself was probably pretty good when it first opened, but it has not stood the test of time when it comes to maintenance (gun calibration, projector lamps, etc)
Today's lesson. Do not wear a hat to Lagoon :D Also, the energy of the girl photo-bombing you on Wicked was hilarious.
The footage of primordial just gives the suspicion of the American version of Wonder Mountains Guardian at Canadas Wonderland with the outdoor portion and the interactive shooter ride.
It was inspired by that ride. But has a switch track, one side is a drop, other side tips the train sideways and slides it down. Can slide facing forward or backward. Has 2 different interactive videos to play through, and 3 ending videos giving 18 ride experiences. So I'd say it's better than Guardian.
The more I ride this one, the more I love it. I have had all three endings. The plan drop is my favorite, too.
this was a fun day, I waited by that sign until they opened it, absolutely worth the five hour wait

Don’t know if y’all were aware/recall, but Fahrenheit valleyed in the cobra roll on its opening day prior to park opening. HP managed to get it pulled through and open that same evening

Btw Lagoon is really raising the bar for what we can expect from non universal parks with Wicked, Cannibal, & now with Primordial being really only a touch less polished than a universal ride like gringotts or hagrids.. Like Sarah said... needs audio narration. Super easy.. maybe a few more light triggers& boom.. no dead spaces at all

My son and I rode last weekend on ERT with the ACE Fall Conference. We got 3 rides, 1drop track with the dragon. 1 drop with the owl and 1 slide track with the dragon. Enjoyable ride but the Schwarzkopf's are still my faves.
All the broken down rides just make me want to rush right over there and give Lagoon a try
I came to lagoon once when it was windy and the ride was closed. Once I opened for the day I was able to ride it twice. I love this ride.

I was working primordial when it valleyed. It took maintenance 4 hours to get the train to the top of the lift hill. I remember looking at the front of the attraction and seeing people line up when we started to do test runs. You can shoot while you fall backwards. :)

This has literally been the biggest question of Lagoon, let alone Utah since it took so long to make and there was never any promotion of the ride (that I remember at least)
Do any frightmares stuff while you were there? If you go during frightmares time again, you definitely need to do the Seance show! It's one of the highest quality things at the park even though it is an upcharge attraction. I highly recommend it
I find it as a huge compliment that Wondermountain was not mentioned here.

So i think i was working the day you made this I was at baby boats and in that area we had opearators spreading the word and supervisors telling us of the delay incase guests asked us
One time on Nitro’s first drop somebody lost their hat and it was just slowly gliding down as the ride continued, I remember looking back at it since I was in the back row

I could see how visitors would find Lagoon interesting, with its quirky weird rides. but as a home park, it really sucks to not have any B&Ms, RMCs, Intamins, or any other coaster made by a decent manufacturer...

Thanks for this comment. Now i know not to waste my time going there. Airtime is what i want. i'm so over inversions. If you're over 35 you lived through pre-2000 when everything was inversions and barely any steel coasters had good airtime.

They had to open it. They’ve taken so much grief for delays. They promoted it all year to sell season passes and when it didn’t open during the regular operating season people were pissed. Now in the off season they started opening it every evening for pass holders with a reservation system.
this seems like guardian at canadas wonderland but done a lot better, which shocks me that no one is comparing it
Yes one of my favorite RUclipsrs that i have chatted with and subscribed to are from Utah and one of my buddies was just there wow this is awesome but just to let you guys know that um I'm not from Utah I'm from Baltimore but i want to go to the park so bad cuz it looks so much fun um but you guys have fun and stay safe love you guys ❤❤❤.
Unfortunately the drop track on primordial is not 30 feet tall it is more like 16 or 10 feet but still a Great element!
It's actually 31 feet tall, making it the tallest of it's elemental kind. Lagoon has confirmed that on KSL.
It doesn't feel that tall, but if you look straight up right after the drop, you'll get a pretty good idea on the distance you fell.
There are 18 possible riding experiences.
Split track to the "slide track" which you got, or to the drop track.
Slide track can go forward or backward.
2 different videos to play through.
3 ending/exit videos.

I rode this twice a few weeks ago and the first time it took 2 and a half hours and the second it was almost 2 and a half ride before the line closed because it broke down when we were about to get on it for a half hour
Hershey represented, Primordial looks a little like Cupfusion, but with 100 thousand times better theming. Of course CF is a basic dark ride, but does feel similar.
What do you guys usually do during those long queues?

I live in Washington and flew there on Saturday I couldn’t ride on Saturday the line was 4 hours but I rode yesterday Sunday, I was one of the first people in line and still had to wait 45 mins

Wish I got a night ride on Primordial rather than Cannibal last time I went. And tbh, I kinda related that 1st section of Primordial with the Hobbit which I kinda find interesting.

So Primordial is basically a more thrilling Gringotts. Also from hearing you two talk about the different elements of Primordial it sounds something similar to the Hagrids system of a mostly autonomous coaster

I was underwhelmed by primordial. Little too gimmicky. I waited in line 45 minutes, it broke for almost an hour then I waited another 30. So over 2 hours in line.
Do a review of "The Soaking " water ride at BMU! I keep hearing about it.
I can see that new ride as a maintenance nightmare.

I think they need to reprofile Primordial….I’ve seen this thing valley quite a few times already…they need to figure something out with this to get it more reliable.

The “Drop” is nowhere near 30 feet. Maybe 15 at the most
It actually is 31 ft tall. This was confirmed by Lagoon themselves on KSL. Though it doesn't feel that tall, if you look straight up immediately after the drop sequence, you'll get a pretty good idea on how tall the thing actually is.
Primodial Un-valley speed: 5-6 hours
Aquaman Un-valley speed: 25-30 minutes
Therefore, Aquaman is better
(this is a joke, primordial definitely looks better then aquaman powerwave)
