These videos are so nice for people who want to know what they will get into on vacation! Also this really helps plan what people want to eat budget wise with there families when they get there!!! Thanks for wonderful videos!
First visited Silver Dollar City so long ago, we used to get an occasional silver dollar as a reward or a gift. I got to buy a small box. The smell of cedar is my memory.
I like going to the mill for breakfast. They bring out a bunch of food during The "u know what" happening now . We eat a big meal and snack for lunch. There is a ton to do in park. Also it opens at 8am so you get in park before the rest opens. The haunted tables is really funny
Wow, so many changes since we were last there!! Molly's Springhouse is now Chipotle-ish! Wasn't it an Italian food place before? Jack's Sandwich shop gone? Used to only be a couple skillet places, seems I recall one being called succotash or something? Definitely hope the Rib House gets a new home with much more seating!!! And they took out the LOST RIVER???!!!! WHAT!!!! That was a family favorite! Thanks for sharing this video of all the changes we have to look forward to on our next trip!
Yes it used to be spaghetti in a bread bowl and such. They tried fried chicken for a while when they closed Aunt Polly's but it was always dead in there. :( When it was Molly's Springhouse it was my mom and aunt's favorite restaurant. So kind of sad about that. But, the new Percey's seems of went over huge, it's always busy now.
I used to work at silver dollar city and my first restaurant was aunt polly’s sad they took it out but then I worked at the tator patch where some of the skillets were made I enjoyed every minute that I worked that such nice co-workers to work with miss it
I am totally amazed at how many restaurants there are at Silver Dollar City. The last time I was here(early 1970's), I remember the Mine Restaurant but I'm not sure if it was buffet back then. I do remember that it was barbeque, though. My family and I loved the food here. The other restaurants did not exist then.
O. M. G! The food looks incredible!! We are going to be there in 13 days! It will be our first time at SDC. I intend on trying a little bit of everything...no regrets. Lol A most excellent vid. Thank y'all for sharing!👍👍
Thanks for the video. We love SDC. Meal prices are nice to know prior to being on park to budget the day! Will have to try more of the skillets and Molly's Breakfast next time we're there...in a week!
Not sure if you know,, but you are welcome to bring your own food onto the park. I always pack trail mix, granola bars, PBJ......I look derpy but saves me money.
Thanks! There's a TON for teens. Silver Dollar City, of course. Our two businesses, Escape Code and The Axe Game are super fun. Boating on the lake, go carts, mini golf, Hollywood Wax Museum, Titanic Museum, etc.
Well, I am hesitant to post, because I am actually going there this Saturday and don't want it to be too busy! lol. BUT, I'm crazy about stalking SDC's website. And while I have been going to SDC for over 40 years. I still always check all the restaurants on SDC website before going and choose a few places to make sure we hit up. I swear I have checked and checked (I usually check it at least once a month) and didn't see til today. On Saturdays during Festival of Wonder ONLY in the Reunion Hall is a sampler Buffet of what's in the Frisco Barn during the Festival of Wonder. So we will be checking it out on Saturday. It's the last Saturday it will be open for this season this year. (it will be open for BBQ Fest too in May, and then the American Buffet for summer, and then the Chicken Buffet for Christian weekend, and the Primer Rib Buffet for Christmas... at least as far as I know, maybe other times too).
Pretty good video of a lot of the food. I just wanted to add the Reunion Hall does have a pretty limited time frame of being open, but it is open for more than Christmas. During BBQ Fest they have a BBQ Buffet (I have never been, so not sure if it is much different then the Mine's BBQ buffet-btw, the Mine is also one of my favorites, and the Riverhouse Ribs!). But, I do know they have been doing the BBQ Fest BBQ buffet in the Reunion Hall for several years now. I think in years past they have also had the Fried Chicken buffet in there for the Christian Weekend, this year it is in Molly's Mill for Christian Weekend. But, this year, I noticed the Reunion Hall will also have All American Family Buffet during the Summer June 8 - August 4. I am not sure if they have done that before or not. This is the first year, I have noticed that though. If I am there during that time, I think I will give it a try.
I just sub you channel. I love you videos and i am getting some good things to do at Silver dollar city. My q is my friend and i will be going to Branson in march so what is the weather going to be like in March. And 2 q is in the mine restaurant is they a rap going in to the restaurant do you know
Thanks for watching! The weather is usually pretty mild in March, not too hot or cold. The mine restaurant does have a wheelchair accessible entrance, but the restaurant has been closed all season due to COVID restrictions.
October 2022 update- the Mine restaurant is temporarily closed because they don’t have enough staff to reopen it after shutting it down due to covid mandates.
I think we can all agree that the girl who shared her skillet plate with us at 13:17 is the nice lady that we all need in our lives .
So true!

Ok you both helped me out a lot just now with what food is there

Isn't there also a sandwich shop called Jacks, or something like that? It was close to the tex-mex place. Maybe it closed.

Best gluten free options?
Most often, I eat at the Smokehouse!
Any pizza 🍕 places? Or did I miss it??
Yep, we talked about Crossroads Pizza. We eat there a lot!
I love it but you left out the mill and the bakery but other than that it was great
Thanks! We intentionally didn't include places that sell sweets and treats... As those will be featured in an upcoming video! Stay tuned!
