    What are some tips you have?

      My best tip, this is a video platform so it is mostly a visual thing. Standing and talking to the camera doesn't cut it. Yes you had a few clips, but it would have been a much better help had you edited some clips of each thing you were describing and did a simple voice over!

    That’s a great tip to get the VIP mug and get free refills of drinks-even Starbucks! Thanks for all the info! We are planning our first trip to Silver Dollar City this summer so trying to prepare!

    For a 1 day visit w kids aged 10,8,5,2 and 4 months, what r the must-sees and do's?

      Depends on the time of year but for right now the lights and parade are a must see. Your best bet to find something for everyone would be the Exposition area and Fireman's Landing which will have rides for the 10, 8, 5, and 2 year old. Train is great for the entire family and for shows or demonstrations check out the candy shops and glass blower but those can be tough as a mom worrying if the kids may knock into something or want all the candy (speaking from experience). For Christmas they have a great Children's show where the kids can go on stage, it is outside but your kids will love the talking tree.

    With 1 day ticket, can we leave the park and return?

      Yes, as long as it is the same day. The hard part would be parking especially at this time of year towards evening it becomes packed.

      It really is! I remember riding on it as a kid and glad my boys were able to go on it a few times last year as well. Hopefully we will be able to make it down this year too.

    Hi! Thank you for the video! Great information. What were wait times like for the 36" rides?

    • @AdventuresWithC3
      @AdventuresWithC3  Год назад +1

      Typically no more than 10 minutes. The only ones we waited for were the larger coasters, Fire in the Hole and the train. We used the app to help us figure out what to ride and when. Most of the time we could walk right on to Thunderation, with no more than 10 minute wait. The only time that there may have been a longer wait for rides at say Fireman's landing was during Kid's Fest. Hope that helps.

    Do they still have the candle making shop? Or do you have to go during the craft festival to see it?

    • @AdventuresWithC3
      @AdventuresWithC3  Год назад +1

      They do! I remember going in but we always missed the demonstrations. Make sure to check out the SDC app for the most updated list of craftsmen.

    Can you use bring a friend passes on your own wife/kids?

    • @AdventuresWithC3
      @AdventuresWithC3  Год назад +1

      Yes! Now there are a couple different types of bring a friend passes (free, discounted, specific time frames) but they are allowed to be used on anyone.
