Hi Chip. We can always rely on a few surprises from Chip Foose . This must be your latest beauty ? And the dune buggy is kind of cute too ! Congratultions to both of you 💕💕
I love the look and idea of your Meyers Manx. My 1964 Meyers Manx had a 8-1/2” Grant Classic Thick Foam Steering Wheel. Made it very easy to get in and out of the buggy and it was thick, easy to hang onto when wet. I love the look of your steering wheel, but I would shorten the diameter about 3-4”. My father bought the 1st. one in 1964. I built one in 1971 with all premium parts. Just before finishing it I traded it for a nicely optioned Harley Sportster (from a local police officer).
I'm surprised it's not an early 2.0 liter flat 6 from a 911. I know 356s didn't have a flat 6... but it would be a great engine choice! Very Nice buggy.
No - you can get a camber correction kit But I think he’s set the stance really low and so it’s created the negative camber Looks like more of a show car than an off-road machine
Those front wheels are going to break the mud guards as soon as the first pothole or depression is encountered. As Trump would say: "Looks good, doesn't work." ( 1:39)
way better at 0:12 Maybe the bolt on the adjustable front axle was not fixed properly and the buggy fell down to the lowest position. Some smaller tyres in the front, the rear up to zero camber and it is good to go.
The dune buggy sits too low, too much negative camber, needs more ground clearance, it's an off road vehicle, not a mall cruiser. The original Manx with the deep metalflake looked way better, my buddy had one with the Chrome rollbar, airplane tores on back and Gates commandos on front and a black convertible top, the definitive Dunebuggy !
Chips follow through is legendary!
If you have a project dragging on this is the guy to finish with t off for ya no doubt!
Amazing work Foose
hi chip grate work .very nice buggy.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😄

Chip’s passenger is a beauty too!
That is his girlfriend!
Chip is a legend, another great car !
Beyond cool !!! I really need a purple dune buggy in my life
Stunning Chip. But what happened to the recessed fuel cap in the middle of the hood? Cheers
Nice love the buggy 👌
Man you don't need that 15" steering wheel . 😂
Turned out really nice! 💪👍🏼
Chip of the old block
Love it, has given me ideas for my own mods. Fantastic
Pors-cha is how it is pronounced!
Where you live.

Hey Chip ! looking good
Sema was awesome this year
Love it 👍
is the negative camber on the rear wheels a normal thing for dune buggies?
No - you can get a camber correction kit
But I think he’s set the stance really low and so it’s created the negative camber
Looks like more of a show car than an off-road machine
Does it even have room for suspension travel?
I don’t think so. It’s more of a show car
It’s sitting too low at the back too - check the neg camber
Super-cool!
Por sha
I would love to have a Foose design car or dune bug
I need to have more fun 🎉
I’m with you there. I had a ride in an original years ago and with a stock 40 horse VW it was crazy!
❤️❤️❤️
Chip left off the Manx plate. Why? I believe it's a VW motor with a Porsche fan shroud?
Awesome like it a lot 👍
Foose brought four cars to the show. A pickup truck and this buggy were shown in videos. What are the other two cars that he brought?
Didn’t Chip build 2? What happened to the second one?
My guess is it did not get finished in time
I thoughtI saw a video where you were working on a flushmounted gas cap for this vehicle?
Very cool.
Good ☆☆☆☆☆ morning business 21/11/2023

Show!!!
Do like the color is it a porsche motor
Chip faz o meu carro um monza 91 carburado sou seu fan aqui do bradil
Nice!!
Not so sure about the front tyres being so big and aggressive. A lot of the ather touches are cool. Anyway, it's Chip's car.
Sweet ..
👍
I'd rather see the donor car a 911
the camber of the rear wheels is really off, leaning in like 3 inches or more looks goofy
how does he make money by doing his job
Тимона видели ?
Is something wrong with Kevin?? He's wearing a tux. Looks wrong.
LS !!
Wow that thing was wack "all show and no go" should have quit long ago😢
Meyers Manx that Radial Motion has done is way better!!
Hey Chip, Porsche is a two syllable word. It's not Porsh.
Can be a dipthong. His name isnt pronounced : Foos A.
Not where I live.
Tomarto Tomaato
We know what he means
As a recent subscriber, may I say that I never saw someone pat thier own back so subtly yet so often in my entire life.
May I kindly suggest you increase your sample size and go back and watch the years of dedication he gave to helping others on overhaulin.
😂 troll
Chip Foose doesn't need to pat his own back. He has million of followers that will pat his back always.
@@AngelLuisTrinidad He has an ego that ruined the TV show Overhaulin'. He doesn't need MONEY you mean, egos are never fully fed.
You should actually meet and talk to him before making that statement!
Ruined a 356😢

Metalflaked bodies are available, he did not want that,,
